Loved the property…refrigerator was broken but owner had a replacement there before we arrived…kitchen could use a few items…more than and and some basic tools like pizza cutter…couch was a bit broken down but still useable

2024 Winter Get-A-Way

The condo was has described. We have stayed in Beach Palms several times, but this was the 1st in 505. The only disappointing thing was people smoking on the balcony directly below us. So it limited our time sitting out on the balcony.

Great unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had two units, this was one of them. The view made you feel like you could reach out and touch the ocean. Very clean and well kept. We spent our eat in nights in this unit for dinner so plenty of room for 9 adults sized people even though four of us stayed in the other unit. This is a great unit, no complaints.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We know you won’t publish a negative review, so we won’t waste a lot of time writing a detailed report-we will just say this was a terrible experience, so bad that we cancelled a 3 week trip in the same unit that we already had booked for Feb, 2024. If you are looking for a quiet, stress-free vacation this is not the rental for you!

Hello George, as explained before, we were unaware of the construction (noise) but were willing to give you a partial refund. You arrived on 11/25 and departed on Dec 8th. The construction did not even start until the fourth. If you were calmer and let us talk to you, we could have suggested a move to another condo to make you and your family comfortable. In any event, we consulted the owners (we are a third party company) to get a partial refund for you. Company Policy is that we do not refund the credit card and we send a check, which was explained to you numerous times. On December 7th you came into the office demanding cash of thousands of dollars (we don't even have cash on the premises). You screamed at our front desk lady for 10 minutes and then proceeded to do the same to our reservationist, continuing to harass my staff. We got the feeling you were looking for a free ride.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's amazing to me that right after Covid, how a condo could be so dirty. No care was taken to keep this place disinfected and it is obvious that the cleaning service only wiped down surfaces. Under the beds and everywhere else was dusty and dirty. The Master Bathroom did not have a door on it so there was no privacy. Overall, very disappointing!

Beautiful sunsets and views.We have stayed in 505 4 times now after staying in a unit that was sold for many times.Our only complaint is the elevators.Everytime we come one isn't working. This stay on our last day as we were leaving none worked! We had to come down in the stairwell from the 5th floor!

Reviewer Comments: What should be a nice unit is suffering from a lack of preventative maintenance and cleaning.In paying thousands $$ to rent a condo we expect that, barring any unforeseen emergency situations, like a burst pipe, for example, that we will be able to quietly enjoy a clean, well-maintained unit-free from intrusions by maintenance people and cleaners.Over the past 2 weeks that was not the case.Because the shower/bath in the main bathroom had not been properly maintained there were large gaps in the caulking and grout which caused a big leak-enough to require 2 visits from a plumber, several from the building superintendent, many phone calls with the office and finally an in-person visit from a man (he never said who he was) who presented a card from Lisa Hand, “Operations”, Florida Lifestyles. He told us to stop using the main bathroom and that there should be no problem with that because “there are 2 other bathrooms in this unit”. ? One of those is a powder room, only sink and toilet, and the other is the ensuite in the master bedroom, which is already weird to use because there is no door, or even curtain, separating the toilet and shower from the bedroom, so completely open-absolutely inconvenient to have all the occupants using this. Also, no tub!?This problem should have never happened had the main bathroom been properly maintained on an ongoing basis.Also, the drains in all the bathrooms were clogged and smelly-regular maintenance issue.The floors, both hard and soft surfaces need a deep cleaning. Since this is a beach unit (inevitable sand) this should have been scheduled as part of regular maintenance.Closets are packed with beach gear, leaving no room.Also, we were given wrong info re:Wifi sign-in when we checked in.Despite many calls we were unable to get correct info until next day,delaying my prep for a business meeting and causing me to be late in joining the online meeting the following mor

Quiet neighborhood for family

The condo is in a residential area but very accessible to shopping and restaurants—nice for a family with small kids. Access to pool and beach was super.

Great Condo with beautiful blacony view of the gulf.

Property was terrific. Housekeeping left a little to be desired, as the closets needed to be swept clean, toys and other stuff was just tucked in and disorganized, and the dryer vent needed to be cleaned as it was a potential fire hazard. Once we did all that was necessary, the stay was great. The condo was beautiful and well equipped. Would definitely stay again.
