Beautiful, contemporary furnished home in the Beach Colony! Steps away to the world renown Del Mar Beach, and walking distance to the racetrack, restaurants and shops. Everyone loves the location!

This custom home is spacious, clean and bright with hardwood floors and granite counter tops. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor room to entertain family and friends.

In addition to 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, there is a workspace in the large downstairs bedroom with a built-in desk and shelving. Each bedroom has ample space, good sized closets, Smart TVs, and ceiling fans for when you don't want to use the central AC.

The living area is sunny and bright with comfortable seating and plenty of space to unwind. It opens up to the dining area and kitchen, which has lots of counter space and shelving. Past the kitchen is the laundry room, which features a new washer/dryer unit.

It's large, unique rooftop deck provides peak ocean and fairground views. Plenty of room to eat, drink and lounge. The backyard is perfect for pets, and includes an outdoor shower, relaxing seating area and a lemon tree. The front balcony's rocking chairs are to be enjoyed at any hour.

Amazing Beach House!

We needed a fairly long term rental in the San Diego area and we were lucky this property was available. We really enjoyed our stay at this awesome beach house located just 2 blocks from one of the nicest beaches in Del Mar. The house is located on a quiet street in a very friendly neighborhood and was the perfect fit for our family...beautiful living area with great lighting and open floor plan, large master suite and an epic rooftop deck with comfortable seating, BBQ and great views. An added bonus was that we were able to have our two golden retrievers with us for part of our trip and we really enjoyed the short walk (5 minutes) to the famous Del Mar dog beach, which was the perfect place for our dogs to run around, meet other pups and play in the water. Another perk of the location is that just a few hundred feet away (follow the trail across the train tracks) is the liquid bean cafe, which has excellent coffee, acai bowls, breakfast burritos, etc. Speaking of the train, the property is right next to the train tracks and there are trains that pass by a 2 - 3 times at night but as the owner said you really do get used to the sound after the first couple of nights so this was no big deal for our family. We have stayed at a number of rentals over the years in the San Diego area (La Jolla, Solana Beach, Encinitas) and this was by the far the best rental we have stayed at before...highly recommend!

Bright & Beachy is located in walking distance to the world renown beautiful Del Mar beach. The beach is known for its wide sandy shorelines and crystal-clear waters. It is a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, and surfing. Our home is also in walking distance of the famous Del Mar Fairgrounds, which hosts the San Diego County Fair every year. The fairgrounds also host other events throughout the year, including horse racing and concerts.

Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, foot traffic is minimal making for quiet privacy. The roof is literally one big roof deck, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset or watch the SD Fair fireworks.

If you’re looking for a relaxing day at the beach or an exciting event, Bright & Beachy is your ideal location.
