Home was very lovely and welcoming. Everything was clean and well kept. Best stocked kitchen we have ever had and we had everything we needed for all the meals we cooked. We had an amazing time relaxing and taking in the beautiful views! It was just what we needed.Thanks!

We found the cottage comfortable and very clean. We loved being directly on Bass Lake, and only a 10-minute drive to Lake Michigan! Very fun having our morning coffee/tea on the deck enjoying the lake views, and evenings around the firepit, even though it was October. We did luck out that the weather was perfect during our stay. Since it was later in the year, the area was very quiet, with few boats on the lake. We have rented many VRBOs over the years, but this was a rare host who had a basket of welcome snacks and some cold beverages for our first night there. That was a wonderful surprise. The location was convenient to enjoy Lake Michigan, the cities of Pentwater and Ludington, and the Fall colors of Michigan. We also experienced a fantastic Lake Michigan sunset one night in Ludington. Great vacation.

Husband and I stayed with two of our adult children. We had plenty of space. The deck was our favorite place to relax. The house is on a quiet street great for taking walks. There was everything we needed provided. Only suggestion I would have is that one TV isn’t quite enough I would maybe add one in each upstairs bedrooms. However we were there to enjoy the lake and the holiday weekend so it was fine. I would definitely book again.

We visited in the off season and had a delightful stay! The home was beautiful and comfortable. The scenery was outstanding with gorgeous sunsets. HIGHLY recommend this place!

Beautiful house and gorgeous views every day! This is my second stay in two years at this wonderful lakefront home with my mother. We have family in the area, and the house and outdoor spaces provide the perfect setting for spending time together. The outdoor seating on the deck and around the fire pit is fantastic, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings all day long.Check-in and check-out procedures are clear and very reasonable, and communication with the host is quick and easy both before and during the stay.The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you need, including really good pots and pans that are easy to use and clean. This is important for me and my family to enjoy more time together.I’ve rented other homes in the area over the past decade, but after my first stay here in 2024, I haven’t looked anywhere else. I know I can count on this property to feel like a home away from home, and I look forward to returning!

What a gem Pure Pentwater is. And to top it off the property manager Kathy and her husband Rob make the process not only smooth, but go out of their way to make you feel welcome. What a rarity these days. If I could rate 10 stars I would. But since there only up to five stars allowed…here’s my *****. Can’t wait to return next year!

The setting is spectacular sitting on the deck and watching the sunset is so relaxing. The house is well maintained and is beautiful. A real treat. Well worth the price

Our stay at Pure Pentwater was beyond our expectations in every way! Communication with our host was excellent and the home was very clean, warm, inviting, very comfortable, inspiring and refreshing! It was evident the hosts put a lot of thought, heart and love into the design and furnishings. The beds were awesome memory foam mattresses. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you might need to prepare meals at home. The view from the deck was spectacular for early morning coffee/tea and peaceful moments of reflection, the evening sunsets were stellar! The fishing off the dock provided us with enough blue gill and a couple big bass enough for a fish fry! Five star review is under rated!

The place and the amenities were AMAZINGLY NICE!!!! Kathy was very responsive. The four of us felt like valued family members. We have family history in both Ludington and Pentwater so it was a perfect location. Plenty of restaurants and Ice Cream in Ludington especially.
