Cozy cabin getaway with hot-tub under stars!

This is a small cabin in a creek bottom. It's quiet and cozy. There's 20 acres to hike and a creek to walk and play in. Property boundaries are marked with purple. There's a hot-tub by the campfire pit. It's between Columbia and Jeff City, very close to Ashland and Hartsburg. I do live on the property. I will give you as much privacy as you want. The hot tub is in a common, open area a couple hundred feet from the cabin. My windows are covered and it will be all yours. I am not able to get internet down here so there is no WiFi. Verizon has service here but other cell phone carriers may not.

There is a low water crossing, it does flash flood easily. Weather might stop you from coming or going.
It doesn’t stay up that long once the rain dies down but it does get uncrossable at times. Drive a high clearance vehicle!

Wonderful getaway

If you're looking for somewhere off the grid with lots of beautiful scenery plus peace and quiet, this is just the spot. We had a wonderful stay and Toby is a gracious host.

An awesome place to get away and relax. Offered us a clean place in the woods with everything thing you’d need from a fully stocked kitchen to condoms in the bathroom (😂) to a wide array of DVDs to watch. Will go there again.

Looking for a nature filled getaway?

Beautiful cozy cabin out in the thick of nature. Toby was a GREAT host and the property did not disappoint. Little service at the property was just what we were looking for to get away and unplug. Would definitely come back in the spring/fall to enjoy the gorgeous nature and views!

This place is fantastic!!

If you're looking for a cabin getaway in Missouri, away from noise and the city lights, and a place to just get away from life for a night or a few days, this place is it. It's a bit of a treck along a gravel road off the main road, but once here, you won't regret it. The hot tub under the stars was incredible. There are plenty of places to hike and enjoy nature. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely be back in the fall.

It was in the single digits so we had to skip the hot tub, but it was a great stay nonetheless. The host answered my questions within moments! I will be back if I see another show in Columbia. Thanks!

Disconnect Retreat

Excellent place to disconnect. The remoteness is key! Want to go camping and still have daily amnenties? This is the spot! Great cabin nestled in the woods of a creek valley. It rained 2 days and we had ZERO issues crossing the creek. Loved the wildlife. We look forward to a return trip!

Secluded Escape to Nature

Quiet, cozy cabin surrounded by wildflowers, trees and singing birds. It was clean and comfortable and we loved the relaxing, natural setting. Games and art supplies were on hand. I used the Merlin app to sit on the deck, sip coffee, and identify numerous bird songs. We drove a Bronco and had no trouble fording the creek after a moderate rain. However the possibility of the creek flooding could be a problem for low vehicles. Great visit!

Secluded and quiet

Absolutely worth the money, especially if you're looking for a peaceful escape from the city—that’s exactly what we wanted! The setting was relaxing and serene. The host was incredibly attentive and communicated well, making our stay even more enjoyable. While there's no Wi-Fi, cell service is available with 1-2 bars. The hot tub is just a few hundred feet from the cabin, offering a perfect spot to unwind. Finding the place was a bit tricky at first, but with the host’s help, we had no trouble. Once you turn off the main highway, it's just over two miles down the road. After your first visit, it’s easy to navigate!

Peaceful and well equipped cabin in a secluded area

Our recent stay at this charming cabin proved to be an ideal getaway away from people and noise. The cabin was very clean, with a well-stocked kitchen, rustic charm and a cozy living space. We enjoyed a night of just relaxing with a movie (plenty of DVD's to choose from!). It is quite a drive back to the cabin, pay attention to the directions prior to getting of the highway, as cell phone reception is very spotty. We had no problems in our GMC Acadia in getting to the location. Thanks for the restful night!

Couldn’t get to it

Have to pass creek to get to it, owner said we could make it but when we got there it was way too high. We never even seen the property and ended up staying in a hotel. I will say the owner offered to get us with his truck so only stay here if you don’t plan on leaving again until your stay is over.
