It was perfect for my 7 day stay. Restaurants are walking distance, building is always guarded, quiet and restful, but amazing events throughout the week. It was close to the Mercado de artesanía. Every one was so nice and helpful. The loft was cozy, comfortable, and as described. I would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for these kind words! We’re really glad you loved every moment of your stay—the peaceful building, the walkable neighborhood, the great team around you. It means everything to us.
Super location. Very centrally located to everything yet still retains a neighborhood vibe. Located one block from the famous Ciudela artisanal market. Across the street is a lovely little park with open air dancing at the weekends. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Make sure to try Farma Internacional for breakfast. The accommodation is very comfortable. All facilities are provided. We also enjoyed the rooftop space. Our host,Nicolás, was very communicative. I can highly recommend this property.
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy, well designed spacious loft. Loved the huge dressing area, the extra touches like the makeup mirror, flowers on the table, yoga mat. The apartment is well located, and equipped with everything needed to make a stay comfortable. The only downside for us was the lack of natural light. It’s a ground floor apt at the back of the building, with windows facing an air shaft. I’m sure it would be lovely and cool in summer, but in January it was dark.
We love the loft. Its great located a provide all you need while staying in Mexico City,Nicolas is really helpfull and provide lots of informations.Overall we will recommend this place highly.Thank you Jana y Tad
The apartment was lovely and bigger than anticipated. The location was close to public transport or easily found if I needed uber. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the Cafe Dondé which was in the building as well as the small bookstore. Only blip was first entry with codee. Nicholas sent new code immediately and figured out that red button needs a firm push at end. Would book again. Gracias Nicholas
The apartment has a beautiful courtyard and it’s tucked away at the back of the building, so it makes for a nice retreat from the chaos of the city, while being right in the middle of it. There is also 24 hour security at the entrance so it is extremely safe, and the neighbors are very kind and helpful to foreigners. Nicolas was a fantastic host, generously offering an early checkin and was helpful with anything we needed. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. Highly recommend!
From check-in to check-out, our stay was absolutely flawless. The apartment was spotless, beautifully furnished, and filled with thoughtful touches — from the cozy decor to the welcome kit featuring local products, you can tell Cadaya Homes puts real care into every detail.Communication was fast, clear, and friendly. It’s clear they’re not just a management company — they’re genuinely focused on creating unforgettable guest experiences. They also shared amazing local recommendations that we would’ve never found on our own. We felt at home from the very first moment.
We didn't realize just HOW perfect this location would be for exploring the artistic and historic neighborhoods of the city. There is SO MUCH in walking distance. The remodel on the historic building is chic and tasteful, and the apartment felt like a welcoming hug. Quiet and cozy, it was the perfect respite each night from the bustling city beyond its thick fortress-like walls. The extra bathroom and huge dressing room with large closets were a bonus for our longer stay. The cafe and wine bar downstairs in the same complex were great perks too. Not to mention filtered water tap in the kitchen for drinking and 24hr gated security. Definitely recommend!
My husband and I were fortunate to spend a week in this lovely loft in a beautifully restored building. Our interactions with everyone associated with the space, from the host to the 24-hour security personnel to the people who run Café Dónde, were very pleasant. And the location can’t be beat, putting you close to Centro Histórico and not too far from all the great sites to see and food to eat in Roma Norte, La Condesa, and other points west.We were grateful to have laundry and a large dressing area. We also appreciated the sofa bed; on our final day we both had a stomach flu so completely scrapped our plans and binged TV among naps. That was no fun but it sure was nice to be in such a comfortable place during it! The yoga mat and swing chair were useful in providing a place to relax from long days of walking around the city.I wouldn’t hesitate to book this loft again.

Thanks for your review! We hope to host you again :)
We did enjoyed our stay at this cozy and quiet apartment tucked back from the busy streets of Mexico City with a few caveats. The owner is very responsive, helpful, and adds a nice bonus gift for his guests on arrival. The apartment is in a safe area, and the security into the building was friendly as we entered and exited. The WiFi worked well, beds were very comfortable, extra towels were appreciated, as was the laundry facilities, and the well stocked kitchen.Just a couple negatives: we found some kitchen items that needed cleaning. The floors are extremely noisy and squeaky when we walk on the upper loft area, which was disruptive for my sleeping partner. The hot water lasted a minute or two before going cold, and took awhile to get Luke warm. There is a beautiful hanging macramé chair upstairs, that is in a spot that makes walking past difficult. It needs a hook on the wall to pull it up and away when not in use. The apartment is quite dark in general due to its corner location, and the bathroom could use an overhead light. All in all it is a lovely and cozy place to decompress after a day of walking and sightseeing. We spent more time away than in the apartment, but appreciated the quiet oasis it provided after long tiring days sightseeing.
The apartment is very nice, and I felt comfortable staying here for 7 days. They did a great job with the renovations of this building. Cleanliness – The apartment was very clean along with the grounds of the complex.Safety – As a single female traveler I felt safe in and around the apartment. Security guards are at the entrance of the complex 24/7. Location – Great location. 15-minute walk to many other nice neighborhoods in CDMX. Close to the Metro stations and a block away from the famous Artisan’s Market. Amenities – My favorite item in the apartment was the light up vanity mirror. For a person that applies makeup every day and has a nightly beauty regimen, this was fantastic. The shower has a nicely scented gel body soap and shampoo/conditioner. Stocked with plenty of toilet paper, clean towels, and a hair dryer. Closet has hangers and plenty of drawer space. A fan is available upstairs if you need it. Comfort – The bed was super comfortable and sturdy. The water takes a couple of minutes to warm up and the water temperature can be a little warmer. I think because I was there during rainy season, I needed the water to be warmer. I am sure it would be perfectly fine when not the rainy season. Lighting – There was not tons of natural lighting that came into the apartment, so it can be a bit dark especially when cloudy out or in the evening. There needs to be more lighting added to the upstairs loft or some brighter bulbs. Would stay here again.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're really glad you felt comfortable and safe, and that you enjoyed the amenities. We'd love to host you again anytime!

Why they chose this property
Our homes are located in Juárez and Centro, two of Mexico City's most vibrant and dynamic neighborhoods. Imagine walking down leafy streets lined with Art Deco buildings, local galleries, and independent cafés. You're just steps away from top museums, restaurants, and nightlife — but also tucked into pockets of calm and tradition. These areas are often compared to Williamsburg in NYC, Shoreditch in London, or El Born in Barcelona — places where creativity meets heritage, and where every corner has a story to tell. What we love most?
What makes this property unique
What makes our property truly unique is that it’s set in a beautifully restored Porfirian-era house — a rare architectural gem from the early 20th century. High ceilings, original tilework, wrought iron details, and a blend of French and Mexican design elements create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Staying here means stepping into a piece of Mexico City’s history while enjoying all the comforts of modern living. It’s the kind of place that inspires slow mornings with coffee on the balcony and long walks through a neighborhood where the past and present coexist beautifully.
