Great place to stay. It’s tucked back in the woods but the directions provided were excellent and easily followed. House was clean and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin and grounds were absolutely gorgeous. We found it beautifully decorated and well stocked. Our hosts were gracious and helpful. My only hope is that the description of the grounds be changed to include no boats and/or trailers allowed on the driveway to the property.

great house for groups

we had our 14th guys weekend and stayed here, we all felt very comfortable in the house, ac works very well, enjoyed going to the dock & its super close to groceries and gas.

Family Christmas stay

Beautiful lakeside home with all the amenities. Decorated for Christmas, complete with Christmas tree. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and time together.

A summer we will never forget

We could not ask for a better vacation, it was perfect for our family. The cousins had a blast together and the younger kids will never forget fishing and swimming in the lake.

Granny Kate Lake Escape

Granny Kate’s Lake Escape hit all the buttons for rest, relaxation and retreat. The comfy beds with lake views made the stay stellar. The hot tub provided great relaxation. Hosts went above and beyond expectations. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful, Spacious Lake Escape!

This house has beautiful details, windows with picturesque views to the lake and of the surrounding trees, and is super spacious! There are lots of different areas to relax and hang out…just wish our group could have made our trip longer so we could have enjoyed this house even more!

The house was very nice and cozy. I loved the large patio and the huge dock. Fishing was awesome. I caught 25 in 2 days!

Family fun and relaxation

The house was beautiful with plenty of room when friends and family from the area came to visit. Tried paddle boarding for the first time. The stairs gave us plenty of exercise. We would definitely do this again.

Groomsman Stay

Absolutely loved this property! Would recommend checking in during day time so you can see where you’re driving, but the owners are a phone call away to help out. Other than that we played cornhole and the hot tub was really nice! No complaints!!

Beautiful and Restfuk

Such a beautiful property, nice shaded dock right on the lake, second story bedroom has tons of space and first floor is roomy and comfortable. So many comfy touches, lots of towels, blankets and sleep spaces. Well equipt kitchen and everything we needed for our stay! The hosts were very communicative, helpful and responsive our entire stay. Stay at Granny Kate's Lake Escape Lakefront Luxury Cottage

We arrived later a night however once we arrived we were able to find the cottage thanks to the written directions provided by the owners! Our large group of 12 people had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The house is large and clean, with lots of room. The cottage is directly on a lake, which is very pretty. The owners were quick to responds to requests and concerns. We are grateful for the opportunity to have had the chance to spend the weekend in this pretty cottage!

Family Getaway

Our family of 6 spent two nights in this lovely escape. The owners were helpful and responsive, and house was absolutely beautiful! Being set back in the trees high up on a bluff gives the feeling of staying in both a lake house and a tree house at the same time. The sunsets across the lake were breathtaking, and we spotted a bald eagle twice on our visit! The kids enjoyed making s’mores on the fire pit and spending a few hours at the water park down the road. Having a nice grocery store 5 minutes away made for quick and easy provision runs, and our only obstacle was that of a few nerves in the car on the steep slope down to the property. We had a wonderful stay and are already sharing this gem with family and friends so they might come and enjoy it for themselves!
