Beautiful Property

The property was absolutely amazing! I went with my 3 children, husband, sister in law, and mother and father in law. The size of the house was very accommodating to everyone’s needs. Older family members were able to stay on the first floor with no stairs and access to bedrooms. The kids loved their own bunk bed room in basement. We really enjoyed the pond-feeding the turtles and fish or just sitting and relaxing reading a book. Only 20 minutes to South Haven with great restaurants and wonderful character. The only suggestion I have is to put boosters around the house for the Wi-Fi. I was not able to use smart tv in basement due to the internet lagging every 30 seconds. But overall a great experience for all and we will 100% be back.

An amazing hide-away

Our family just spent 5 days here and it was amazing. Jeff communicated everything in an understandable and timely manner. The house and grounds were immaculate and were even better than we anticipated. Everyone can't wait to come back and stay here again.

A Slice of Perfect

House was lovely, and the grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed feeding the fish and small turtle in the backyard pond. The only issue we had was that we found the surrounding area confusing to navigate but we had a wonderful week and visited several lake towns. We would definitely recommend staying here! Jeff was very responsive and a great host.

We had a great time!

My family of 10 had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful and quiet. We really enjoyed the screened in porch. It was a great house to gather for meals and the kids had so much fun being together. We got to visit South Haven and Saugatuck, so the location was perfect!

Amazing location/Home

We celebrated my dad's 80th birthday. He's from the area...this location gave us the chance to visit family, relax, cook-out, hot tub, watch movies, play w our dog...and enjoy a beautiful setting. Private location in 10 acres. Close to everything but out enough to give you complete peace & quiet. My parents commented several times how quiet it was in the property. We enjoyed the air hockey table on the lower level. The house is big enough to give each guest their own space. Three full bathrooms, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed the fenced in area to let the dog out in. We are bird people so it was so nice to watch birds enjoying the feeders. We even made a batch of sugar that the homeowner leaves for guest. The hummingbirds put on a great show. The pond is a nice feature too. We absolutely loved everything about the property & I highly recommend. I already have friends & family asking just from a few pics posted/shared.

Immaculate home like an oasis in the forest

Very nice and well appointed home. A huge fire pit with benches, beautiful screened deck, lots of space to stretch out. Jeff does a great job communicating. We had a fun 4 day family vacation in Jeff's home. Would definitely come back again.

Marvelous Michigan Property

We had a group of 10 that came to stay at this property. It was all it was said to be, and we had a great time! It was exceptionally clean, very well stocked, plenty of space, awesome screened in deck, great yard games, small pool table and board games. Beautiful yard with plantings, the fire pit, jacuzzi tub, the pond and the small stream in the back. What more could anyone ask for?! We took day trips and rented a pontoon boat, a charter fishing boat, hiked the trails, went to the beach and sand dunes and of course had Ice Cream at Sherman's Dairy. All fabulous and then back to a comfortable place to rest. Would recommend this to anyone and would certainly come back. Jeff was wonderful to work with and available for any questions. One suggestion someone made was to have a hammock out back! :) Chris

Peaceful Getaway

The property was exactly as pictured, however, the queen bed in the basement was changed to two sets of bunkbeds. The kitchen was well equipped and as we planned to do a lot of cooking it was perfect! The gardens were lovely and walking the grounds was a joy.

Summer Retreat in the Woods

House was immaculate and had everything a family needed to enjoy a getaway. Went to 2 beaches and a short wine tour. Especially enjoyed the screened in porch for afternoon catnaps or a game night at the beautiful picnic table.

Beautiful house and space

The house had everything we needed. It was super clean. Outside was beautiful. Fire pit was nice, pond with fish and turtles and wide open space outside. Secluded but about 20 min from south haven, getting groceries, etc. very easy communication with host. Dog friendly. Small fenced area to keep them safe and secure. We loved this place

Fun stay

Great time with family. Enjoyed clean house and property, including use of hot tub, firepit, and screened in porch, which was excellent for playing family cards at night. Owner was very clear, responsive, and helpful.

Perfect family getaway.

First get together of our family since Covid. House was perfect. Well equipped for all our needs. Our 18 month old triplet grandsons loved exploring the grounds. Comfortable for all. Very peaceful. Even the teenager enjoyed the stay! Loved the large screened-in porch. Would definitely rent again.

Secluded and peaceful; short drive to more touristy spots

Jeff's place is spacious, secluded and peaceful. With bedrooms + bathrooms on all three floors, larger groups can really spread out, while the common areas have enough space for everyone to gather. The screened in porch is delightful. There's plenty to do in the nearby towns of Saugatuck, Fennville and South Haven - each about a 20 minute drive away.

Better than advertised!

The pictures simply do not do this property justice. Simply loved the home! It is super well maintained. Jeff, the owner, is very communicative ahead of booking and transparent. He genuinely wanted us to have a great time and great trip. The screened in porch is perfect especially for stormy afternoon naps. The property is a very reasonable drive from the beaches and close enough to some smaller grocery stores to grab essentials quickly if needed. Kitchen is well equipped and we were able to cook every meal. Great property and wonderfully accommodating owner.

Relaxing stay

This property was exactly what we were looking for! It is secluded, and only a short drive to the beach towns which we wanted to check out. The house is very large, so everyone had their own space to spread out. All furniture and beds were comfortable as well. Our dogs enjoyed exploring the yard and watching nature from the screened in porch. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't there. Jeff always responded quickly to any questions.

A perfect secluded family getaway

Jeff was a 5 star host. The house was even better than the pictures and what we had expected. If you are looking for a spacious private getaway with every amenity imaginable, look no further. We loved the backporch area, hot tub and fire pit at night. The grounds were well kept and perfect for outdoor games. It was more than enough space for 2 dogs and large family. Close distance to sagatauk or south haven for a quick day trip! We will surely be returning !

Relaxing secluded getaway

The property was great and pictures didn't do justice to the size of the property. The home is further away from the main city but not so much that it was a problem. The owner was always responsive to communication and had everything ready for our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing getaway

The location beautiful and peaceful. The house was very clean, nicely furnished and beautiful. Jeff was responded quickly to any questions and was very helpful. It was a wonderful place for a family vacation.

Lovely, Secluded Home

This home lived up to the excellent ratings. It is situated down a lovely tree lined road in the woods. The house is a beautiful home in a beautiful clearing with a pond, large fire pit, hot tub, flower garden. We enjoyed watching the black squirrels, birds, raccoons, and fish. We enjoyed the nicely decorated and very clean house. The screened deck was the perfect place to eat meals and play games. We were secluded but close enough to enjoy horseback riding, Lake Michigan, South Haven, and Saugatuck. The only bad part about this house was having to leave. Adults and children did not want to leave. We hope to return.
