OCEAN FRONT DUPLEX IN SOUTH MISSION BEACH, top and bottom units rented together

Our oceanfront duplex in the South Mission Beach, San Diego, CA, can make your getaway-dream a reality all year around.

The top and bottom units have separate entrances. They measure 2600 sq. ft. in total. In addition to three balconies, each unit is equipped with a kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms (King size bed in the master and two or three twin beds in the other bedrooms) and two full bathrooms. It sleeps 9 in beds in four bedrooms. Additional 7 individuals can sleep (on several pillow-top futon beds) in two living rooms and a basement, which has a full bathroom.

The utmost location, Mission Beach, San Diego is a community built on a two-mile-long sand bar between the Pacific ocean and Mission Bay. You cannot go wrong visiting such a California's paradise, which can add excitement, glamour, delight and extravagance to your recreation. Located just minutes away from the international airport, you will be within a walking distance from many attractions, including the historic oceanfront amusement park, Belmont park (featuring the giant dipper, a wooden roller-coaster and the plunge, indoor swimming pool and sea world in mission bay park (the largest man-made aquatic park in the USA). This rental place should be on the top of your list if you desire a romantic getaway, need to experience the thrill of surfing, have fun dinning and shopping, participate in bicycling, frisbee tossing, and skateboarding, or just walk to bask in the sun on the sand of one of the finest beaches. Mission beach is probably the best place for a spring break, to have a beach.

This rental property is located only a walking distance from many excellent tourist attractions, such as restaurants, boutiques, bars, and beach activities, not forgetting to mention the surfing fun, site-seeing, sea world, zoo, and amusement park. The downtown of San Diego and international airport are located only 10 minutes away. How convenient! You don't really need a rental car to enjoy your vacation. We have a very child friendly environment with covers on all the unused electric outlets, a high chair, beach toys (pails, shovels, balls, frisbees), and children's books (dr. Seuss) and some videos.

We arrived to California from Michigan in November to escape the bitter cold, ice, and snow this time of the year. My family and I looked forward to spending some leisure time at the beaches in San Diego. This was one of the better choices we had made in terms of the price, proximity to the airport and the various options available to us for entertainment, i.e. beautiful sunsets, beaches, surfing, jogging, shopping, fine dinning, night life and music. One of our favorite things to do while at the mission beach was having breakfast on the deck in the morning, then playing on the beach area in front of the house where we relaxed under the sun most of the day. While we have visited many luxurious resorts in the USA, Mexico, Bahamas, and Europe in the past, by far, this was the most hassle-free and affordable experience. As a party of six, we were able to split the rental cost and many responsibilities.

We would highly recommend this awesome place and vacation house to anyone looking for a perfect family reunion, anniversary or a get-away experience for a long weekend with a spouse or family and friends. We give it our thumbs-up and will be back soon!
