Come stay, fish, snorkel, relax in the pool, walk to Sombrero Beach. This professionally furnished 5 bedroom 3.5 bath luxury home is the perfect vacation retreat. All bedrooms have flat screen TV with a robust channel package with Xfinity. 4 king beds, 1 queen.

Main living area is on the 2nd floor.
Open floor plan with chefs kitchen, dining area and living room. 2nd Floor has 2 large master bedrooms, both with an en-suite bath. Both with King Beds, Flat Screen TV's, access to the back deck. Seating outside each room on the deck is a great place to relax and read a book or have a drink/coffee.

Like to fish? Bring your boat or rent one so you can get out and enjoy the water. Owners of this home are avid fishermen of the keys and will provide fishing advise and sandbars to enjoy. The dock is able to accommodate 2 boats up to 40+
in length. 110V power and water at the dock along with a fish cleaning station.
We want you to have the best vacation you've ever had right here in our little slice of paradise!

Guests have access to 4 bicycles, 2 kayaks and a commercial ice maker capable of producing 400lbs of ice per day. Snow shovel and a wheeled cart make it super easy to carry ice to the dock for the boats.

Our property has room for up to 6 total vehicles in the driveway. Four cars/trucks and 2 boat trailers. Rough dimensions of the driveway are 30' wide and 70' long. Parking is strictly limited to the driveway. Absolutely no vehicles/trailers allowed on the grass areas or in the street right of way or cul de sac. Hot tub can be heated if pool heat is chosen.

This house is our personal home we rent out when we are not in Marathon. Most of our neighbors are full time residents. If you are coming to party and play loud music, this isn't the right home for you. We maintain constant contact with our neighbors and they help watch after our home when guests visit. If you are looking for an upscale home in a highly sought after, quite neighborhood, we welcome you with open arms! We have just recently listed it on VRBO. We have another home just down the street at 445 Sombrero Beach Road. The house was immaculate when we arrived. Everything looked and smelled so clean. Our host Jeff was always on board if we needed anything. We brought two boats this time. The dock was perfect for our set up. The pool was very nice very large and our children and our grandkids really enjoyed it. Kitchen was large and there wasn't one thing that we needed there. Everything was provided for us. All the beds were very comfortable linens very nice and the driveway was large enough for three large trucks and two trailers.

Jeff’s place in Marathon was perfect for our family’s Thanksgiving getaway. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing week together. Sombrero Beach was a short walk from the house.Jeff was an excellent host and checked in during our stay to make sure we were having a great vacation, which we really appreciated. Our family had a wonderful time at the house. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a five-star stay in Marathon, Florida.

Our stay at this home for spring break with 2 families was absolutely perfect. We had 2 familes of 4 and the two master suites were so perfect for that, along with the other bedrooms and big beds, it really made our vacation very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great, the grounds in the backyard were beautiful. The neighborhood was nice and felt very safe. The bikes were amazing to have and the house really had everything we needed for the week (beach chairs, some left back fishing poles, rafts, etc...). The communication with the hosts was great - they gave us some great tips for the area and made sure everything was as expected when we checked in. On the dock we saw a manatee a few times, a sting ray, and even a small shark one day - the teenagers thought that was great. We really enjoyed our stay in Marathon - it is the perfect city in the Florida Keys because it is kind of the middle of keys and you can easily get to so many other areas for day trips! Highly recommend!

Family vacation

This is by far the best house that we have stayed at! Love that the pool is a regular pool and not micro sized. This helped to keep it cooler. The house is beautiful and very clean too. You won’t be disappointed with staying here

Wonderful retreat

This house was amazing. Perfect floor plan especially for people traveling with friends and families. The location was perfect. Close to the beach, restaurants and stores we had everything. Owner truly seemed to care that you had everything and were comfortable at the house. The pool was perfect. Really recommending staying here.

The perfect property for a bigger family week

The house is in great shape and decorated very nicely. Pool is large and was the perfect temperature and if it’s not you can adjust it to your liking. The dock is first class with electric and fresh water, plenty of room for my 35 foot boat The host is in constant contact and willing to fix or get anything you need.

Incredible house!

What a beautiful home, well kept, spacious and truly had everything we needed. The home owner connected with us during our trip to ensure we had everything we needed and asked how our experience was so far. We have been to the keys for mini season year after year and this is the only house we have been very excited to book again. We are already booking again and can’t wait to enjoy the house for another yearly vacation!

The house and the property were both fantastic. Very clean and beautiful. The location of the property was convenient to restaurants, shopping and close enough for a day visit to Key West. That is if you even want to leave the house.

This beautiful home is exactly as advertised! Jeff, the Owner, called us the day of check in and explained all the different functions in the house and about the pool. Through the course of the stay we had a couple more questions and he responded within an hour. Would definitely recommend this property!

Amazing Rental!

This rental was amazing. This rental had everything we needed for the week. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms were all equipped with everything needed. The Host was amazing, great communication and spectacular home. The house was very clean, pool was perfect and the dock had everything we needed. We give the house 5 stars, we will come back to this rental.

New Year's Getaway

Beautiful, bright, sunny house with a wonderful pool, close to Sombrero Beach. We had a great week in the house with our teen and young adult children and their significant others and friends. Jeff, the host, was extremely helpful and responsive to all of our questions, made great suggestions about local restaurants and activities, and could not have been nicer. We would definitely go back!

We can answer just about any questions you may have when it comes to restaurants, fishing, snorkeling, sand bars, attractions! If we are in town, we'd love to come meet you and show you around town or out on the water if you need some direction on navigating the water ways!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We love this property for many reasons. Proximity to Sombrero Beach and grocery stores! Less than10 minute idle to the Atlantic. Perfect location to watch fireworks that are occasionally shot from Sombrero Beach! When looking at properties in the keys we originally wanted a pure oceanfront or gulf front home. After several years, we realized that oceanfront and gulf front homes are constantly dealing with the Sargasso and gulf grasses that are naturally living in the Keys. These grasses gather in the fronts of these homes and decompose leaving, well, a not so pleasant smell. After much consideration we determined that a home on protected canal with views of the canal lake to be the perfect solution. No smell, no grass, protected from the wind makes the dock much more pleasant. When its windy and rough, you have boat access to many of the marinas and on the water restaurants without having to get out on the open water!
