I'm Debbie and my husband Dave is a Plumbing/Heating/Electrical contractor and runs his own business (handy when you run vacation rentals). Debbie runs Bodega Bay Rentals. Both college grads (Dave SSU Business/Debbie Pacific Union Nursing). We are active in kids lives (college/hs/jr hi). We've owned & managed commercial/residential property in Sonoma Cnty for 25+ yrs and have rented our homes in Bodega Bay since 2001. When not working we enjoy being outside working our ranch, hiking or playing at the beach. If you see me around the harbour, its usually with one of my furry friends enjoying this beautiful area! We own vrbo 330680 & 82395. Our goal...YOU have a seamless vacation in a home that runs top to bottom. We clean/prep so have hopefully headed off any unwanted issues. We are local and available 24/7 to help at any time...even if just a texted question. Dave is a plumbing/electrical/heating contractor. If an issue pops up...we respond asap. We purchased our first home in Bodega Bay around the corner (on Gull) from this one in 2001 as an investment. We love the area and renting it out to friends, family & guests. Dave actually did all the mechanical on this home when it was built in the 1990's so we knew it was a solid purchase. Add that to the amazing views of the home & the beach trail across the street and we were sold.
What makes this house unique
Our home sits at the crest of Gull Drive facing water. You can see the current moving, whales from living room windows and sounds of waves and seals. Very relaxing area... Gull Drive is the closest street to access trails/beach of anywhere in the harbor. We manage our homes in every way - as result our rates are lower than any of the homes around us including many back farther in harbor. Two beach trails off of Gull Drive...one right across the street. The other leading to the Bodega Harbour Clubhouse/Bistro & Bar. FABULOUS views! Located at the 9th Tee box for golfers that love to 'break' mid game. Kids love the Ping-Pong table. I love going for runs around the Harbour. Hills offer quite the challenge. We love to geocache and have plans to keep a binder of listings in the home (ask us!). Doran Beach is a wonderful gradually sloping beach for kids to play in. We even keep a beach pass to Doran Park in the home for Guests that want to use the 'day use' area at the State Park. I also like knowing the Coast Guard is stationed behind the park should someone need assistance. We keep lots of beach supplies in the home for families.
