Thank you for your review. For next time, there is a key-lockbox, hanging from the doorknob with your key inside. Do not push any buttons anywhere on the door, as that is for a deadbolt and your code will not work there. The lockbox is a spin-type, dial combination, so, no bittons at all, with the front doorknob key inside. The top lock with keypad, is a deadbolt and will already be unlocked for you just prior to check-in. The other issue you had with the gate code, was likely due to user error as the dedicated code does not change during your stay. This unique gate code has been set up for you during your stay, and will work throughout your entire stay, unless you are staying for an extended duration, in which case an alternate code will be provided to you with the effective dates. It is critically important that you enter the # sign before the numbers, every time, or it will not open the gate. Also, please be sure to check your VRBO messages and the welcome guide the is sent to you automatically by VRBO, as these things were covered several times as well as a lot of other helpful information.
