Christopher, we hate hearing that a guest was smoking--smoking is not allowed on the balconies. We do assist the HOA in enforcing this policy, so in the future, please let us know, and we will contact the HOA--smoking violates result in a fine of $750, which we feel is a deterrent if people are aware of the fines. We are sorry this ruined your time on your balcony for you. That said, we hope you otherwise enjoyed the unit, the beach, and the amenities. Let us know when you plan to travel again--we will answer any questions you have about policy and will certainly assist if there are any infractions in your area. We want you to have a wonderful time!

Sheila, we sincerely apologize for the inconveniences that occurred during your stay. Our office communicated with you multiple times during your stay and explained how the building association was responsible for the elevators and amenities. This is something, unfortunately, we cannot control and it can be frustrating! We thank you for staying and do hope that you enjoyed your vacation despite any problems.
