Beautiful, secluded property with easy access (15-20 minutes) to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Accommodations were clean and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen. The deck looked like an ideal place to relax in the evening, although the weather prevented us from doing so. Overall an enjoyable experience and a very nice property.

Craig, seclusion paired with a fully stocked kitchen makes for an easy base, and being 15 to 20 minutes from Acadia and Bar Harbor is a bonus. Sorry the weather kept you off the deck. It will be waiting for a clear evening on your next visit.

The house was wonderful and easily slept the 7 people in our party. There was plenty of storage for clothes and toiletries in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The communal spaces were a great fit for our family with plenty of seating in both the living room and dining room. The property was beautiful and the backyard was a great setup for bonfires and grilling. It was also a quick and convenient drive to downtown and Acadia entrances. I would gladly stay again!

Great place for a family & kids. Swing set was great but had some broken pieces. Listed as having A/C but only in the 2 king bedrooms. Kitchen was filled with a lot of stuff which made cooking a lot easier. Convenient location to Acadia & Bar Harbor. Tons of things to do. Good communication if you had any questions before the stay & during.

Great place to spend time with friends! We had 7 adults and there was plenty of space in the living room and kitchen for us to all hang out together. The backyard feels secluded and fire pit was a big plus for us. Hosts were very nice and responsive when we had questions.

Great location for exploring Bar Harbor and hiking in Acadia National Park. We had a group of 4 adults and 3 kids, the house was a great space for us to relax in the evenings and cook dinners after spending the day out. Large dining table and couch that fit everyone. Enough bedrooms with a variety of layouts to meet our needs, and space so no one felt cramped. Laundry available was great to catch up on washes during vacation. One slight downside was the kids playset in the backyard was in need of some repairs, but owners are aware and hopefully that will be addressed for future guests. Responsive hosts/management for the few questions we did have, overall great stay!

Property is as shown. Kitchen is well appointed. Downstairs shower did not work during our stay but we made do with 1 shower since we only had 4 guests.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay here! Loved the games you had and as a group, we did the puzzle when we had downtime! Loved the location and it felt like we were coming "home"each night. For future guests, the drip coffee pot takes cone filters. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Acadia Getaway

Ideal location for Acadia trip. Far enough from the town but close enough to everything else. House had everything you need to relax after a day of hiking in Acadia. Communication was top notch.

Very clean home in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. Allowed easy access to Acadia National Park and the Southwest Harbor area as well. Home accommodated our family of eight well. Open kitchen and dining areas made for great family gatherings to eat, play games and watch tv together. Home has an extra refrigerator and freezer in the garage which was a big plus for us. Also the inside freezer had a working ice maker which we rarely find. Nice new Cuisinart coffee maker was another plus. Both bathrooms are large, clean and the amenities met our expectations. Backyard amenities were disappointing. But that didn’t interfere with our plans. Susan our host was exceptional in her promptness and thoroughness of response. Our family had a fantastic time on Mount Desert Island and this home was a big reason why!!

Great house and location

Such a beautiful home and had a large back porch to sit and let the kids play. The boys loved the play area and large backyard. I also like that it was one at houses but had trees secluding the house. The area was very quiet and peaceful.
