This is the perfect place to stay at in MDI, minutes from Acadia and Bar Harbor, but very private. The house is even better in person, and the owner Bob is great!

This was the perfect place to stay as our family explored Acadia and surrounding areas. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved being in the woods but close enough to the road access. We would highly recommend staying here!

The house and property were excellent in every way for our family of 5! The location was very convenient to Bar Harbor, Acadia, and shopping areas, The beds were all very comfortable and the main living area was spacious. We enjoyed playing some of the games that were available and relaxing outside on the front deck. We highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the greater Bar Harbor area.

The Chalet is a beautiful place! Everything was clean and as described in the listing. Appreciated the air conditioning given the recent hot temperatures and the full size washer and dryer were very helpful!!! Less than 15 minutes to Bar Harbor so it was a great location!!! We would absolutely stay there again!!! None of the clocks worked… so maybe they just need some batteries.

Cute House / Great Location

Quiet location a short distance from Bar Harbor and the park entrances. The house had everything we needed, and was perfect for two retired couples exploring the area.

Great location. The property managers were excellent. We weathered Hurricane Lee here and Bill made sure we were safe and had the essentials. Wonderful trip!

Bar Harbor Chalet

This home is very clean, well cared for, stylish and has all the furnishings needed. It has small touches like soaps, cable and internet access and items that make traveling more comfortable. We enjoyed being close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We highly recommend this property.

Hobo chalet

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at the hobo chalet. The location was great, just a short drive to Main Street in Bar Harbor. The house was very clean and everything was very comfortable. The decor was beautiful and we lovedwthe pictures throughout the house.

Perfect home for a family vacation

This house was perfect for our Acadia vacation. We traveled with another family, and we both agreed the property exceeded our expectations. The house was clean and very well stocked. It was also in the perfect location for our excursions all over the island...nothing was too far away. We were very sad to leave and would love to stay there again!
