About Tony Marotta
I have lived in Tucson since 1982. Originally from southern New Jersey. I am a handy guy, so the home is very well kept up inside and outside. Why Tony Marotta chose Tucson
Me and my parents bought this property in 1985 as it had such a great feel, land, pool, views and a Koi pond that attracts humming birds, Hawks, Eagles and Heron! The main house was completely remodeled and 900 sq ft was added in 2007. The main house is the rental home, the guest house is used for storage and houses the wifi. The homeowner does stay in the guest house some nights. There is a helpful "cheat sheet" to help with many of the features and instructions for pool, hot tub, switches, close restaurants, etc. As of 2015, there is a 40 inch HD "Smart" TV outside with viewing from just about all of the pool yard and Jacuzzi. As of May of 2019 three of the four bedrooms have HD "Smart" Tv's. There is plenty of parking at the top of the driveway and elsewhere on the property with plenty of good lighting. The property is very safe and has never had any issues in 35 years! The neighbors are all very friendly and Tony knows them all by first name! They are quite a distance as the home is on 1.5 acres!
What makes this house unique
Very private yet close to downtown and University area. It has many of the original "Charming Burnt Adobe" walls, where they could be left during remodeling. Everything is modern and tiled throughout! Views are great and the Koi pond attracts all types of wildlife particularly birds and some hawks and eagles! Hummingbird feeders in the front attract them year round!
