Villa Amour was also designed to provide the ultimate in comfortable luxury -- from the gourmet kitchen complete with herb garden to the expansive indoor/outdoor living spaces. This home offers the supreme relaxation experience. Whether you are enjoying the views from the four 'en suite' air-conditioned bedrooms or lounging pool side, Villa Amour is the place to enjoy a superior Caribbean experience just 15 minutes from the airport.


The Unique Benefits of this Villa: The villa Is very private, has many one of a kind works of art and sculptures. A lot of time is spent tending to the tropical gardens as it is a labor of love. Being a retired chef, the kitchen is better equipped than most.

Why the Owner Chose Neltjeberg Bay: I didn't buy Villa amour I designed and built it . The area is pristine and unspoiled like the Island used to be.

Great Flight Crew Stay
We are a flight crew of 3 plus my mother whom came to visit. Rick’s place was absolutely perfect! 4 bedrooms all having our own space and bathrooms connected to each room. Rick was wonderful helping out with picking up my mom from the airport and taking her to get some groceries before we(flight crew) came in. He was very helpful in answering all questions and we really enjoyed staying at Villa Amour. The pictures do not do the house justice. Such beautiful art out and in the house and views, wonderful.. We loved sitting outside by the pool. Rent a SUV because the road up to the house is tricky and no cabs will make it but once we were there, we didn’t want to leave! He had everything we needed in the house. A new grocery store called Moes is 10 mins down the road. We bought everything there. Thanks for everything. We can’t wait to book again next time we fly in!

Great stay in St Thomas
Stayed for four nights with my girlfriend and friends and had a great time. We actually wished we could have stayed one extra day just to hang out at the house and pool. Easy check in and out and the house had everything we needed plus one of the best views on the island. There is a grocery store and a small beach close by. Easy drive to the airport and to get to the ferry. Would definitely choose to stay here in the future.

Villa Amout
Rick at Villa Amour is a great host! Has lived on STT for a long time. The house has a 2 M view and is very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with spices, vinegars etc. The short drive to the house from the main road is a bit dicey due to the road condition but after a couple of trips it’s fine. Wish we had had a longer stay. Thank you Rick!

Couldn’t be better!
Fully equipped house with pool and hot tub! Cool decor too. The layout of the house is so wonderful for having outdoor space that’s out of the rain/sun plus having various areas to be “away” from the whole crowd if you want a break.

A Serene Paradise with Exceptional Hospitality
Our stay at Villa Amour in St. Thomas was nothing short of spectacular! The property is a slice of paradise, boasting stunning views and beautifully maintained surroundings. Despite challenging weather conditions making travel to the island difficult, the owners went above and beyond to ensure our arrival was as smooth as possible. Beautiful views!
We really enjoyed our stay! I loved opening the sliders every morning and eating breakfast on the lanai! Sky and ocean views everywhere we looked. The house stayed cool during the day and the bedrooms cooled off well at night. We made a few trips to the grocery store which was very convenient and used the kitchen and grill most days! If we head back to St Thomas, we’d definitely look to return to this fabulous home!

Views galore
The views from this property were spectacular! The decor of the house was extraordinary with lots of color and a beautiful dining room chandelier! The pool and jacuzzi were very enjoyable! Now here is the downside. The outside dining table needs new cushions, or at least they could be cleaned. In pretty sure one cushion had blood running down the back, but they were all really dirty. See weren't told that the owners friend, who had met us at the house to show us around would be staying in the small apartment under the house during the latter part of our stay, which caught our group of guard. That's something that would have changed our stays location. There was a mouse (maybe more than one) living in the kitchen and ruined our first home cooked dinner. Food there isn't cheap because it's shipped in. We couldn't use the dishwasher because when the door was opened there was a smell of death. If you stay here, rent a jeep because the winding road to the house is mostly dirt and a very bumpy ride. Overall, we had a great time! I hope they do something about the mouse (mice) and cushions for the next renters, and if someone is staying in the lower apartment, they at least let the renters know about it. This location would have been well worth the cost otherwise.

Absolutely amazing stay! The views were breath taking and made for a relaxing vacation. Rick was an awesome host. Was available when we had questions and provided great suggestions. Loved the private beach at the end of the road. The road to the property was pretty rough, definitely needed 4WD. Can’t wait to come back and stay at this amazing property again!

The road to get to the house is a bit well-traveled but the view is worth it! Rick was responsive and easy to work with. He even came and helped when we got turned around on our arrival. The pool, view, and open-air concept were perfect for our spring break. Fantastic!!!

A Stunning Stay with Room for Improvement
Our recent stay at Villa Amour in St. Thomas was an experience filled with breathtaking views, gracious hospitality, and a few areas for enhancement. Rick, our host, was the epitome of accommodation and courtesy. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcomed and ensured our comfort throughout our stay. His warmth and friendliness truly enhanced our experience. Villa Amour itself is a sight to behold, with its beautiful glass art decor adding a unique touch of elegance to every corner of the house. The pool, meticulously cleaned and thoughtfully designed, provided a refreshing oasis amidst the tropical surroundings. And oh, the view! Overlooking the pool, the vista of the surrounding islands and mountains was simply stunning, surpassing even our highest expectations. However, as much as we adored our time at Villa Amour, there were a few areas that could use some attention. The kitchen amenities, particularly the pans and grill, could benefit from an update or at the very least, a thorough cleaning. The lounge chairs, unfortunately, revealed signs of mold underneath, detracting from an otherwise serene atmosphere. Additionally, the cleanliness of the floors left something to be desired; despite our efforts to sweep daily, our feet were often black by day's end. Navigating to the villa presented its own set of challenges, with the road off the main thoroughfare proving to be bumpy and riddled with large potholes. Guests should plan accordingly and allow extra time fo

Reviews This is a magical house! We loved everything about our stay here. Every little nook and cranny contains some beautiful art or thoughtful decoration and the layout is unique and absolutely perfect for a group. The light fixtures are amazing. And the view of the sea cannot be beat. We had so many wonderful moments in the outdoor living space. Beds super comfy, kitchen fun to cook in and to bring in private chef Salma. Hot tub and pool were great. Jeanna was wonderful, she was responsive to all of our questions and our needs, super easy communication and she gave great recommendations for what to do on and around the island. The hike down to and up from the bay was a great workout and fantastic swimming. We got used to the rugged and steep road after driving it a couple times. We were a group of 7 with three small kids (ages 7, 4, 1). Excellent stay, we highly recommend Villa Amour if you are on St. Thomas.

Mom’s 60th birthday vacation!
We had a wonderful week at Villa Amour. The house was very well kept and the view is unbelievable. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. We used them every day. We had plenty of room for six adults and two kids. The road is a bit of a challenge. I’d suggest a Jeep. The property manager, Jeanna, was very attentive and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again!

OUR SECOND STAY AT VILLA AMOUR DID NOT DISAPPOINT
My family & I stayed at Villa Amour back in 2016 and it was such an amazing experience we decided to do it again August 2023 with our 9 month old daughter and two teenage boys. The house is immaculate. Absolutely beautiful both inside and out. The natural garden is magnificent; the infinity pool is the highlight for us; and the hot tub for my husband. Lol. We made more amazing memories for our family! The property manager Jeanna was more than accommodating & made sure we had everything we needed. Even suggested one of our new favorite places to eat. Rick and Steve were so courteous! The one issue we had was my fault & they fixed it the same day ! There was also snorkel gear for us, a washer & dryer, beach chairs, coolers, ice packs, and a high chair ! The view is one of the best on the island - the neighborhood is secluded & safe. The road is definitely rugged but the Jeep handled it just fine. We hope to make our stay at Villa Amour a tradition!

Amazing Family Moon
The pictures online are nothing compared to the real thing. My whole family was in awe as soon as we walked in. It is gorgeous! The art work is beautiful, the statues very interesting, and the landscaping, both interior and exterior, breathtaking. The roads are rough, so you definitely need to rent a keep or SUV. We had to get a van because of the amount of people and luggage we had. It got the job done, but we did struggle one time. Everyday after all of our adventures, we were in the pool playing games and just enjoying the views which are mind blowing. They also have a great hot tub that we took advantage of after a long hike. This home along with the owners and hostess surpassed our expectations of a great trip and stay. There are adorable lizards that come out and play on the patio and off the pool. They’re not bothersome at all, just fun to watch them chase each other. It was perfect waking up everyday and having breakfast outside looking out to beautiful weather and beautiful views. We got married and opted for a family moon since we became a blended family. Our kids are 24, 20, 19, 18, and 10. They absolutely loved every minute and did not want to leave. Absolutely amazing property. Couldn’t have been happier with the house and communication with the owners. The home was absolutely stunning! As everyone stated, the road to the house is a little rough at first, but you quickly get used to it. I was honestly expecting worse! The kitchen is absolutely to die for and I loved cooking and looking at that VIEW 😍!! The owner and property manager were both so welcoming and helpful! I cannot wait for my next vacation to St. Thomas and I already know I’ll be staying at Villa Amour!

45th Wedding Anniversary
My family really enjoyed the pool and outside area. Having coffee and watching the sunrise was wonderful. The landscaping is gorgeous! As previously mentioned the road to the house is rough.

Beautiful House, Great Location and stunning views
Our family of 6 (2 adults 4 kids ages 7,8,11,12) traveled to St. Thomas for the first time for spring break. Speaking with Jeanna the house contact was always so easy and she was so helpful. You walk into the house and are greeted with a beautiful property and then see the pool and view and oh my goodness is it breathtaking. We visited different beaches every day and each had things we loved about it! Our private beach was wonderful to walk and explore. Magens Bay was wonderful and we loved Brewers Beach with the best little food truck that was there with pates and burgers and fries! We did a boat day around St. John and lunch in Lovango with Alibi Charters and it was stunning all around. We also ferried our car to St. John one day and explored their beautiful beaches, this is something you must do! Maho, Cinnamon and Trunk Bay were the ones we visited and they were all amazing! Our dinner at Fish House one night was amazing! The view and the food were insane. Also ate at Sibs on the Mountain which was great as well! The house and island is so beautiful! We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!!!!!!!
