Although the check-in was smooth and host responsive, we discovered the unit to not be cleaned very well. There was a general lack of cleanliness, namely dust everywhere, and both bathroom sinks were clogged with so much human hair and other debris, the drains backed up, which required us to clean in order to use them without overflowing or standing in backed up waste water. The first night we discovered a mouse in the kitchen and later the next morning discovered mouse dropping on furniture after sitting on the chair. It's unreasonable to expect a guest to stay in this condition, and my family moved to different accommodations, paying double. We requested the host to reimburse us for the nights we did not stay in the unit given the pests especially, which was refused. If the description of the property indicated these conditions, there's no way we'd have booked it. Know what you're getting before you book this property. So sorry to have had this experience and write a bad review...

Exceeded Expectations – Would Stay Again!

Staying here exceeded all expectations—it was even better than the pictures. The space was expansive, beautifully decorated, and full of unique artwork that made it feel truly special. It was also in an extremely walkable location, which made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again!

Meeting in the middle

We met our son and daughter-in-law for a few days in Denver. Our stay was so enjoyable. The accommodations were perfect! Comfortable and well stocked. Easy check-in and check-out!!

Fun place and comfy beds!

We loved staying here with our little family. Great location to walk to/from Mission Ballroom for a show. Quiet patio to relax on and super comfy king-size beds. Loved all the art work too! Thanks for a fun and comfortable stay.

Unit D was perfect for our family. It was spacious- exceptionally clean- and very quiet. It was our first time in the rino district- we loved the art experiences! We felt very safe at this unit. It was a good location for us to explore the Denver area and other nature areas toward Colorado Springs and the mountains. We were able to find parking on the street close to our unit every night of our stay over a long week end

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING AND UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE — GUEST BEWAREI have stayed in many vacation rentals and have never experienced anything like this. I requested early check-in due to travel delays and sleep deprivation-was told I had to purchase an additional, non-prorated night. I later learned early check-in was available for hourly prorate, making the additional expense particularly frustrating.The property was extremely barebones, including no soap at the bathroom sink, which was especially surprising because Jeff represented it as his personal home.Most concerning, however, was a live mouse in the bed! After traveling, I pulled back the sheets, got into bed, and placed my head on the pillow. A mouse came scurrying out from under the pillow toward me.This is not a minor housekeeping issue. A live rodent emerging from bedding makes the property unsuitable for its most basic purpose: providing a safe, sanitary place to sleep.I immediately contacted Jeff, requested a full refund, and relocated to a hotel, incurring additional expenses. Jeff offered a conditional refund: only if another guest rented my dates. Those dates were not rebooked, leaving me responsible for the rental cost plus alternative lodging.I am escalating this matter with VRBO. A mouse under your pillow is not an ordinary rental inconvenience—it is a serious health and safety concern. I could not stay here and absolutely cannot recommend this property. Guest beware.
