Cozy Lakeside Cabin, All-Season, in Northwood, NH- 2 Bdr, great views

This lakefront, open-concept, two-bedroom cabin has a newly-renovated, fully-equipped kitchen with gas stove, microwave, and dishwasher. In addition, there is a large deck with great lake views and an outdoor gas grill. Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds with televisions. Clean towels, all bed linens, and comforters are provided. Enjoy the lake view with water access right on the property.

This location offers something for every season. In the summer, enjoy swimming in the lake at the private beach nearby, hang out on the spacious back deck overlooking the lake while cooking lunch or dinner on the outdoor gas grill provided, or take the canoe or kayak out onto the lake. In the Fall, enjoy spectacular views of the colorful foliage that is the hallmark of NH during this time of year. Then, during the Winter, enjoy the wonderland of snow-laden boughs. You can walk out onto the frozen lake, go snowshoeing, ice-fishing, or bring your snowmobiles to zip across the lake and check out the local trails. And in Spring, see the local flora and fauna reawaken. The Spring melt from the mountains cause the local waterfalls to swell. Take a trip up to the Flume Gorge or go hiking in Crawford Notch. Also, this is maple-sugaring season in NH, and you can get a look at local sugarhouses and maple syrup production.

The cabin is air-conditioned in the Summer, with individual units in each bedroom and a central unit in the main living area. During the Winter, enjoy the coziness and ambiance of a fire in the woodstove (wood provided), or just turn up the thermostat on the furnace. In the evenings, enjoy a campfire in the firepit overlooking the lake or relax inside with the big screen TV with streaming services available in the comfy living room. Indulge in serene, quiet nights and relaxing days. Also, enjoy local shopping on Antique Alley, or savor a great steak or seafood dinner from nearby Johnson's Restaurant (and don't miss their generous servings of homemade ice cream!) We had a great stay. Loved our cozy fires in the evenings while listening to the Loons on the lake. It was well appointed with things we might have needed and very clean. Loved the many antique shops just down the road, and the Market and hardware stores just down and around the corner.

The woodstove was a big hit, the kitchen was clean and well stocked, and the cabin was nice and warm! We had a lovely time just reading, playing games, and visiting the local antique stores. A great place to unwind, reset, and get away from phones and emails!

Loved this property. Very clean and had all necessary equipment to help us enjoy our stay. Really enjoyed morning coffe on deck, kayaking and floating in lake at the beach just a short walk down street. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful visit!

We absolutely loved our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, the water access on the property is lovely, the wood stove is incredibly cozy, and we loved the easy access to Concord and Manchester.

Father and adult sons vacation

We really enjoyed the kitchen as it was the best supplied I have ever rented. The high porch where we gathered any time of day was also a favorite. We appreciated all the amenities including sheets pillows, blankets, TVs in main three rooms, etc.

Very clean and accommodating host

Better than Portrayed

The cabin and Property are much nicer and larger than the pictures show. Everything was very clean, and the Amenities were plentiful. Especially enjoyed the porch, dock, and fire pit location. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first vrbo vacation coming from the Florida Keys, to introduce our little/visit family. We wanted a place in the woods, on a lake, family friendly, and cozy. Something totally the opposite of what we have where we are from and MAN OH MAN DID THIS PLACE EXCEED OUR EXPECTATIONS!! We stayed for a week, and it was great to wake up in the mornings, when the weather was warmer, and do a leisurely paddle around the lake with the little, or watch him by the water, throwing in pinecones or small twigs to see if they "sink or float". We would usually spend our days away from the cabin, spending time with family and checking out Maine, and I wish we had been able to spend more time there. We did love coming home though and using the stove to warm our little Floridian bones, and if we came home early enough, paddling out to the tiny island, to play hide and seek or jump off rocks. The winds whistling in the breeze, and owls in the distance at night made for such a peaceful and wonderful time for us.

Waterfront Cottage on Long Pond

Nicely situated with lakefront access and great views. We enjoyed the kayak and canoe. The cottage was perfiect for 4-adults. Found Long Pond to be more like a lake than a pond.

A true coxy cabin in the woods

Great location. There are neighbors, but you feel like you are all alone. Perfect for relaxation by the fire. Would definitely go back.

Great lakeside property

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this great property. Very impressed by the cozy feel, modern kitchen and really enjoyed the outside deck, dock and fire pit. A great property on a beautiful waterbody. Spent most of our time relaxing on the shore, listening to the call of the loons!
