About this space
Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located home. The front yard features views of the Mighty Mississippi River, Dam, and Power Plant that you can enjoy while sitting on the front porch. The back yard features a small orchard with multiple fruit trees, strawberries, grapes, etc. This can be viewed from the back porch seating area which also houses a gas grill.

This home is centrally located for those visiting Keokuk, Hamilton, Nauvoo, Carthage and Warsaw.
The space
Guests have their own entrance and there are no shared spaces inside. This home is set up as a duplex with the main housing area as listed here which sleeps 6 and a smaller studio/master suite on the ground level which can sleep 5. You can rent either or both areas.

The only shared areas are outside (the porches, grill and yard)

We enjoyed the beautiful view of the Mississippi

The owner was very quick and responsive. This was a great place for the price. We especially enjoyed the views and the sunsets. It was close to Nauvoo as well as other historical sites.

The view was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing. We spent some fun nights playing games there. We loved the front porch. Kim got back to us quickly on the only text we sent and was willing to come by to help. She was great! We were surprised to learn that there were not 2 showers, as was advertised. We also were not aware that someone was living/renting in an attached apartment sharing the same laundry facilities. I feel that would be helpful for others to know.

The house was in a great location. Easy to cross into Iowa to see the Mississippi River, lock and dam. Road in front of the house was a pretty scenic route viewing the river.
