CLASSIC HOME IN SULLIVAN'S BEST LOCATION!! PET FRIENDLY!
Wonderful historic Sullivan's Island beach house in the most ideal location on the island. This classic home is across the street from the ocean and only a short walk to the Sullivan's Island business district. There's no need to search for parking to enjoy the beach, great restaurants, shops, and nightlife that the island offers because it's all less than a 10-minute walk. You will not find another authentic style home as charming and comfortable in a better location on the rental market. The magnificent wrap around porches span three sides of the house and are fitted with a porch swing, relaxing rocking chairs and comfy porch furniture.
Over the past year, the house has undergone multiple upgrades and improvements, including new mattresses, furniture and décor in almost every room, a renovated hall bathroom and a brand new kitchen. Featuring upgraded cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, new cookware and gorgeous wood flooring, the new kitchen is welcoming and absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is open to a casual breakfast area and large dining room table that can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people. The living room and den in the rear wing offer plenty of relaxing space to entertain or watch one of the large 42 televisions (both equipped with DVD players).
Off the kitchen is a Laundry Room with a washer, a dryer and a second refrigerator for storing extra food and drinks. There is also an outdoor enclosed beach shower with hot water located underneath house (house is elevated). C/AC, gas grill and wireless internet are also included.
The home comfortably sleeps up to 12 people with 1 King, 3 Queen and 4 twin beds.
The Master Bedroom (King Bed) has a Private Bath, Bedroom #2 (2 Queens) and Bedroom #3 (2 Twins) share a full hallway bath. Located in the rear wing of the house are bedroom #4 (2 twin beds) and bedroom #5 (Queen) which share a full bath. This layout is perfect for two families.
ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a starter set of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath / dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you may need to purchase more of these items after you arrive.
THIS IS ONE OF THE ONLY SULLIVAN'S RENTAL HOUSES THAT IS PET FRIENDLY!! A $300 Non-Refundable Pet Deposit is required per pet. Dogs considered with a applicable pet policy signed and records received prior to arrival. Dog must be approved by Carroll Realty.

Sullivans Island is one of the most beautiful places I have ever vacationed!
Perfect place and very beachy
Had a great time. The house had everything we needed. One minor problem. During a rain storm, one of the bedroom ceilings sprang a leak. The realty office promises that a new roof is coming.
Perfect family beach house
We had 8 family members/ 3 generations stay here for a Charleston wedding. So perfect. The house is spread out enough to provide privacy when needed, yet had large enough gathering spaces to accommodate the group. Our only regret was that wedding commitments didn't let us enjoy the property fully. We want to come back!
The house is perfectly situated; you really can't get any closer to the beach, and it's an easy walk into "town" (3 blocks) to enjoy the restaurants, etc. Sullivan's island is also just a very short drive into downtown Charleston across the coolest bridge in the country. So glad we picked this place.
This house felt like home right away; like our family beach house but with better weather. If you like chrome and modern- stay away; this isn't for you. But if you like bead board, wide, old shingles, nice old wood floors, a gorgeous wraparound porch, and a feeling of ease (with a modern kitchen thrown in), then you've found the right spot.
This was our family's first visit to Charleston, but not our last. Thank you very, very much.
p.s. Carroll Realty provides a great phone app that we found very useful. Checkout procedures, trash pickup, concierge links, etc were all there, in one spot, on our phones. Definitely a value-added app.
Comfortable home, family friendly in the perfect spot
We loved staying in this spacious, well appointed beach home. The plastic connecting the toilet handle to the chain broke during our stay, and unfortunately it was not repaired. Other than that, no complaints!
Perfect beach vacation!
What a fantastic house! Our traveling party of five adults and four kids thoroughly enjoyed spending a week here. The porch was everyone's favorite -- spacious and comfortable, we all loved having breakfast out here in the mornings, and the children played on the porch all week long. (I do echo another comment that ceiling fans would make the porch even better.) The outdoor shower was super convenient, and the kitchen was beautifully renovated with everything we could need. And the layout was perfect for our three families. Everyone had enough privacy and bathroom space, which is important when traveling with large groups! Not only was the house itself wonderful, but its proximity to the beach and the restaurants in town cannot be beat. It was easy to hop into town for lunch or to take a quick evening walk on the beach. We hardly used our cars!
I can't say enough great things about this house. We truly had a perfect beach vacation, and if we travel back to Sullivan's Island as a large group again, this house will be our first choice accommodation!
Great house and location. Wish they would put ceiling fans on the porch. Beautiful job upgrading the kitchen and bedrooms.
Wonderful home, comfortable, signifocant updates without loosing the Charleston charm
So close to the beach and Charleston. Kitchen had more than sufficient equipment, mostly new appliances. The house is split into two sections which gave our children some privacy. The area was very peaceful even though it is highly residential. We will return.

Additional information about rental rates
Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed with a Carroll Realty employee. 50% payment is due within 5 days of making your reservation. Final balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date. We accept Visa, Master Card, or Discover or personal check if more than 30 days from arrival. All reservations are charged a non-refundable $45 damage waiver which covers accidental damages up to $1000. Cleaning Fee is waived when staying 7 nights or more. We book weekly only during the summer months from Saturday to Saturday. 3 night minimum any other time. Pet fees, if applicable, and damage waiver are non-refundable. No exceptions.
