The hosts went above and beyond in providing us with everything we needed.Coffee, creamers, water, snacks, condiments, extra towels, and very comfortable beds. Also home was very clean.
This was a really wonderful place. Beautifully decorated and really amazing to stay in such a well preserved historic residence. It was in a great location too. Everyone in our group loved it as well! Thank you!
This house was beautiful and thoughtfully curated. It was well stocked with the essentials and very very clean. The location was fantastic and everything was within walking distance. A plus to have a small park right next door. The beds were comfortable and great to have a/c up stairs for sleeping comfortably. Awesome touch to have the book with photos about the house and it's past. We will definitely be returning to this house!
Here is a polished Vrbo note:We had an excellent stay during our son’s graduation weekend at HWS. The rental was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and very well located. It made such an important family occasion even more special and enjoyable. The host was responsive and helpful, and everything was exactly as described. We truly appreciated the experience and would gladly stay here again.Highly recommended.
The home is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and clean. There is no outdoor seating, except for a balcony in one of the upstairs bedrooms that overlooks the neighbors' yards. Having a few chairs on the front porch and/or in the small front garden would be a nice touch for evenings: cocktails, enjoying the breeze, sitting outside, etc. This lack of outdoor space would be the only thing preventing me from renting again. The host is extremely quick to respond, answer questions, and be an overall help. It is a beautiful house.
We weren’t able to figure out how to turn on the bedroom fireplace, so maybe provide directions. Also, we would have like non flavored coffee creamers.
The house is beautiful and even though we were there the hottest weekend all year we all had a great time! It's spacious and located right in town. Would recommend!
We were very happy with our stay. A very charming historic home with modern amenities. Very close walk to downtown restaurants. Convenient drive to wineries on Seneca. The host was very accommodating to our needs and quick to respond! Overall would recommend this place and definitely would stay again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Geneva thanks to this gorgeous home in the historic district. Lots of space and walkable to the downtown restaurants. The host provided everything we needed and it was exceptionally clean. A joy to spend time in while we explored Seneca Lake and also had a day trip over to Niagara Falls. A perfect stay- highly recommended!
