Highly recommended! The cabin was very clean, well stocked with extras not expected, like Q-tips, cotton balls, Kleenex and lots of TP and paper towels. We ate in for every meal and were so pleased and surprised by the quality and variety of cookware/bakeware/small appliances and gadgets available in the kitchen. The host was very responsive and helpful with every question. We loved how every stairway (inside and out) had safety gates. Lots of fun toys and games too.
We were a group of four older couples and had a most wonderful time at this wonderful mountaintop property. There was plenty of space ( 2 living spaces) and plenty of room for our cars as well, although some had an issue with potholes in the very steep driveway. The location was perfect, peaceful, quiet but only 15 to downtown relaxing time and would book again, thank you!shopping and restaurants. Our group had a very
we had a great visit over Labor Day weekend. The home was beautiful and loved the extras with stair gates for the 2 year old. The kitchen was also very well stocked
We loved the cabin and our stay. We did have some difficulty getting up to the cabin. Some places in road made it difficult without a 4 wheel drive vehicle to make it up there.

Hey Marty, I am so glad you enjoyed the cabin. I know the road up a mountain can be daunting, but we just finisihed re-paving it. It will still be steep, but hopefully will be a smoother ride for everyone to come. Hope to see you again.
Wonderful StayThe house is beautiful and very comfortable. Plenty of seating for dining. Sometimes places have a large sleeping capacity which exceeds their dining capacity, not the case with this home. Some people have issues with driveway. There are potholes, but we did not have problems. You just have to find the balance between enough power to make the uphill climb and yet, not get moving fast. not really that difficult.Overall, I highly recommend this home.

Rough start!
We came on a rainy day and the driveway is quite steep! The house is the last on the mountain and at the highest point! This is wonderful under normal circumstances but the rain and the condition of the driveway made it quite scary. The house is gorgeous! I loved the look of it. We had a nice time except two of the beds had not had the linen changed! This meant that after a long trip I washed all the linen on two king sized beds. We enjoyed our stay even with this. The views are worthy of a painting and the house is very pretty.
My husband and I hosted our entire family (we are new great-grandparents) at this home high in the mountains of Fannin County. After a long paved drive up the mountain, we were greeted by a beautiful home with outstanding views of the Blue Ridge valley. The house was immaculately clean with upgraded amenities, and had two bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths on the main level. The lower level had 3 bedrooms (one a bunk room), 2 baths, a living area with arcade game, and a small kitchen featuring a full refrigerator and laundry room. The kids enjoyed a hot tub on the deck, and we grilled from the gas grill. We brought all our food and supplies for the long weekend, The fireplace on the deck and the fireplace in the living area helped keep us warm from the cold spell. All of the family really enjoyed our long weekend in the North Georgia mountains!

Thank you so much Leslie! It was a pleasure to host you and your family.
From the time I walked through the door, I was in Awe!! This property is AMAZING. The view is spectacular and it's the perfect place for getting some rest and relaxation. I booked this property to celebrate my 50th birthday with friends and this place covered EVERYTHING. From games (which brought out the kid in me) the outside sitting area next to the fireplace, all the way down to the huge swing that me and my partner had enough space to both lay on it, relax, slowly swing and just inhale all of the fresh mountain air. This place is just so calming, and it was exactly what I was looking for. It was so very clean and fresh, and it was stocked with everything you could ever imagine. The owner was responsive and very polite, and I just can't wait to book it again someday. I HIGHLY recommend that you do. You won't be disappointed. :)

The location of the house is beautiful but we were disappointed with the care of the property itself. Upon the first night we were greeted with BUGS crawling out of the stove and outlets in the kitchen as we cooked. What appeared to be roaches crawled out of the knobs for the stove top. I informed the property manager who stated they had a bug control maintenance plan and regularly treated for bugs. The property manager further tried to justify himself by educating me that houses in the woods often get bugs. While I do understand this logic, it is invalid as all the bugs were isolated to the stove area. No actions were taken by the host to rectify the issue during our 5 day trip. Additionally, the very steep driveway to the property is a minefield of pot holes. (They do state they are getting this repaired, but that didn’t help our cars much).I had hoped to write a raving review about the beautiful house and view. However, the bugs in the kitchen were absolutely unacceptable.

Dear Brittany,
Thank you for your feedback and for choosing our Blue Ridge Mountains retreat for your stay. We’re thrilled to hear you found the house and its views beautiful, and we’re truly sorry that aspects of your experience didn’t meet your expectations. With 59 five-star reviews over the past year, we strive to provide every guest with an exceptional stay, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
We’re deeply sorry about the unsettling experience with bugs in the kitchen area. Our property is regularly treated by a professional pest control service, with the most recent treatment in early May 2025, to minimize issues common in remote mountain locations. We’ve shared your specific feedback about the stove area with our pest control and cleaning teams, who have conducted a targeted inspection and treatment to ensure this doesn’t recur. Had we been notified during your stay that immediate action was needed, we would have sent our team promptly to resolve the issue for you.
We also regret the inconvenience caused by the driveway’s condition. As you noted, we’re actively working on repairs to address the potholes, and we’ve accelerated these efforts to ensure a smoother arrival for future guests. Additionally, based on your earlier messages, we’ve had our handyman repair the upstairs toilets you mentioned to ensure they’re functioning perfectly.
For clarity, our rental agreement includes a $175 pet fee, separate from booking and cleaning fees, to maintain the home’s pristine condition for all guests. We aim to communicate this policy clearly and appreciate guests notifying us about pets in advance.
We value your input and are committed to continuous improvement. If you’d like to share more details privately, we’d welcome the opportunity to discuss further. We hope you enjoyed the stunning mountain scenery and would love to welcome you back for the five-star experience our guests consistently praise.
Warm regards,
Alex
