Manor House er hvor du kan finde plads til at samle med venner og familie, skyde en pool, spille nogle spil, spise et måltid med en stor gruppe eller bare hænge rundt og se nogle tv. Perfect spot! The rental was cozy and just steps from the beach! It was beautifully decorated, and fully stoked with everything we needed.

Such a beautiful property in the perfect location! There was eight of us and we had plenty of room had great meals with the inside and outdoor patio great kitchen for cooking and access to the swimming pools and Pickleball were a huge hit!

This is our third time staying at this home - and somehow it keeps getting better. The home itself is great and fits our family needs well. This year there were quite a few thoughtful upgrades like new mattresses and couches / other furniture throughout. It’s in an idyllic, quiet community with easy access to the beach and walkable to so many attractions and amenities. The pools are perhaps our favorite feature. The staff is amazing as well - Jeremy is so kind and organized and Rhonda and her sister really keep the place running smoothly and with kindness and respect for the community.

A vacation oasis

This home is a little slice of paradise in Dewey. This was our second year going to this property and it was just as impressive the second time around. Jeremy, Rhonda, and all of the pool staff are so helpful and friendly and the grounds are beautiful. The two beachfront pools are reason enough to return, and then you also have access to the beach in a quiet residential neighborhood in Dewey within a quick bike or Trolley ride to restaurants or shopping in Rehoboth.

Rugs and carpets were filthy.

Location was great. Kitchen was well stocked. Nice outdoor dining area. Furniture was extremely old and uncomfortable. Same with mattresses. Rugs and carpets were filthy. Not worth the money. Wouldn’t recommend.

Week at the beach

The property was very nice. Plentiful items stocked in the kitchen, extra pillows for sleeping and most everything you need was available. The outdoor patio area is pleasant and shady so it was nice to sit outside any time of the day. We ate outside several days and it was very pleasant. The pool area is BEAUTIFUL as is the general property. Nice tennis courts, And the pool and property manager were very nice. The only down side was that Some of the furniture is a little tired feeling and it would be nice to replace some of the older items, but it wasn’t unusable.

Family beach week

The property is in a very lovely complex. The complex is beach front. Very nice children and adult pools on the beach. Our unit had a private courtyard, which was shaded, and provided a great space for the family to socialize and dine outdoors and with privacy. It also provided a nice area for our toddlers to play with easy supervision. The finishing touches of the unit are more on “rental” grade quality, not up to the standard of the complex (Seagate) itself. The owner, rental agent, and property manager were readily available,friendly, and helpful. I think this is a great place to enjoy a beach vacation.

18 Seagate….brought my kids and some grandkids….we had a great time, but there is a long list of problems with our place….dirty, kitchen handles are broken…..can opener was unworkable….toilet seat on third floor very loose…..bathroom handle broken on the shower door….Keurig leaked….had to go get one….and the list goes on…..sorry to say….I would not want to stay there again….

Beautiful community in a great location

This house was perfect for our family. It has a nice outdoor area where you can eat and relax and it is just a block away from the community pool and beach. Everyone in the community was extremely welcoming and our children loved the kids pool. Would definitely rent again!

Lovely beach location

We stayed here with 4 adults and 4 children ages 2, 3, 4, and 6 years. The property is as pictured in the listing. The main living space on the ground floor has been remodeled and opens to a lovely court yard patio with outdoor seating. The kitchen is great and fully stocked with cookware and pots and pans. The 2nd and 3rd floors each have 2 bedrooms and a hall bathroom which is perfect for 2 families. The upstairs has not been remodeled recently but were clean and serviceable. The beds were comfortable. The property is a 2 minute walk to the beach and an umbrella and 2 chairs are included with the property. The Manor house has 2 lovely pools which are beachfront. Overall, I would definitely stay there again. The only critique is there are a lot of pool rules, which is mentioned in other reviews. You cannot jump into the pool. Our children were not allowed to ride piggy back on our backs in the children's pool. Only water is allowed on the pool deck. Only children who can pass a swim test are allowed to go into the adult pool regardless of parental supervision. Among other rules. The location is great. You can walk to downtown Dewey or ride bikes to the Rohoboth boardwalk.

Beautiful property!

The property was beautiful. We enjoyed the amenities. The staff who run the main house were a bit over the top with the way the interrupt the rules. They were outwardly friend but rude as well. They only let certain people use the full facilities, which was disappointing.

Great property, great location, pretty good house

The good: pool is very nice (nicer than the older photos show), private patio is shaded and a good space, 1st floor windows are great and feel open, kitchen is pretty nice and is a good size, location is great, close to downtown and the beach, Seagate community is really nice, keypad access to house is convenient, no real check-in / check-out nonsense, good communication with property manager The bad: the house is very basic / cheap rental grade equipped with furniture, pots /utensils, and overall quality - I would have appreciated a touch of upgrades for the price. During our stay garbage drawer handle fell off (extremely inconvenient), some door hinges were loose and causing issues. We let the property manager know and he replied immediately, but the owner never fixed it during the week. The living room furniture and set up could be better with another couch or comfy chairs. Just not enough seating for this size house. Gate on the patio would be a nice feature to contain the little ones.

Great location and updated kitchen

Great location right on the beach. The house is a great set up for families as there is a private patio off the kitchen where adults can hang out after kids are in bed. Kitchen is beautifully renovated. Bedrooms are spacious. Loved that you walk out to beach straight from pool area. Everything about the house was great, but rules were a little strict at pool. We had to stay within arms reach of my 3 year old in children’s pool even though it was only 3 feet deep and he had a puddle jumper on. Also, there is no shade but there are signs on each umbrella saying you can’t put them up without a staff member. Often there was no staff member available. Lastly, the other family we stayed with were reprimanded for taking a work phone call even though there was no one else there. Later we observed a woman by herself chatting it up on her cell phone for a long while. Despite the pool rules I think this place deserves 5 stars. It was a smooth check in experience and well maintained. Can’t really fault them for safety rules at the pool.

Generations of Fun

Well Maintained. No real complaints...Only a metal spatula (need a flexible one to save the pans), need a chair in bedrooms for "older" adults to sit while getting dressed. Wifi info was wrong but figured it out, staff was gone by the time we got there so never really signed in. Lock code was difficult to understand.

Beautiful and perfect beach home!

My family booked this property for a last minute off season getaway. We loved this property. The home is beautiful and very clean. The outdoor patio was wonderful and a great space for my two young children to play. The house is in a perfect location, so close to beach and the street was nice and quiet. My family and I would definitely stay at this property again.

We rented this home with another family in August. The property amenities were great (the pool was recently remodeled, the beach was steps away and they included beach chairs/umbrellas which were really convenient). They're strict at the pool (rightfully so) as long as you follow the rules, there's no issues. The manor house was closed because of the pandemic so I cannot comment. The location was walking distance to great restaurants. The house is outdated as can be seen in the pictures and we had some issues with the cleaning company but the property manager addressed those concerns with us.

Delightful Dewey Beach

The location of the property and the amenities were superb for a beach vacation. Having a pool by the beach was amazing for a family with small children. The pool manager and lifeguard were very friendly to us especially during a time of required social distancing. They stayed very strict with rules which was a good thing. As for the house we rented, the furnishings and the decor was a bit dated and could use a refreshing uplift. It was functional and stocked with all necessary home items. The owner were responsive with any issues that came up. Overall, it was a great trip.

Great Stay in Dewey

Seagate 18 is a three story townhouse about a 5 min walk from the beach. There is *no* water view, it is ocean block. The photos make it seem like the pool is outside the house, but it's a walk of about 3 min. There is a lot of room, it is nice to have a bathroom on every floor for showering after being on the beach. There is no hose or faucet at the house to rinse off, however. You must rinse off at the main Seagate hose/shower down by the pool. We had a lot of trouble with the gate locks. The code did not work for us at all. There is an interior path through the Seagate property to access the tennis courts and pool that you can use to skip these gates, but there's no information on this path unless you ask. From house 18, you cross the parking lot and turn right on to a sidewalk with slate paving stones. We thought it was for the houses over there, but it takes you to the tennis court and pool. To use the tennis court, there is an online sign up genius form. Ask the property owner for the link. The pools are really nice, warm and clean. BUT they are only open from 10-10, and the lifeguard will ask you to stop boisterous play. No jumping in, no wild splashing, etc. Our kids are ages 10, 13, and 15 and found ways to have fun that didn't violate the rules. The beach shack will set up chairs and umbrellas for you for free. (don't forget to tip!!) The umbrellas go away at 5, but with the code you can keep the chairs longer. You can buy snacks and hot dogs from the shack. The dryer did not work for us. The dishwasher was finicky but worked. Convenient to East of Maui for renting boogie boards, also convenient to a farm market for fresh produce. Both are within walking distance. The property is a short drive from Rehoboth. The wifi was good, the courtyard was a nice place to relax. We did not use any of the extra perks offered through Xplorie. Beach yoga wasn't within walking distance, the bike shop wasn't renting, the board sports were down on bayside in Dewey. The property owner was very responsive to our questions and requests.

Great vacation for a group of 10.

We enjoyed staying at 18 Seagate. The community pool area was especially nice. The house is well equipped with all required kitchen appliances. Overall great experience.
