Beautiful all-sports Lake Leelanau is an ideal spot for a summer or winter getaway. Shoreline Pines is a cozy, ranch-style home with a guest house situated on 100' of Lake Leelanau, is the perfect place to stay. The main house sleeps eight with three bedrooms and a sofa bed and the guest house sleeps three with a king bed and single futon. The kitchen has been fully remodeled.

The yard is nicely shaded with abundant seating available on the deck and at the beach. Enjoy family dinners on the enclosed porch overlooking the lake, or enjoy the spacious yard and cook on the charcoal grill. Sit around the fire pit at the lake's edge, and soak up beautiful sunset views. Jump right off the dock into sparkling clear water!

This home is located minutes from the Village of Lake Leelanau, and the public boat launch is just 1/4 of a mile away. The Sleeping Bear Dunes are about 25 miles away. Shoreline Pines is the perfect summer vacation location. This spot is simply amazing.

Your well-mannered dog is welcome. Please clean up after your pet.

Perfect place for our family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The layout of the house was perfect for our 3 generation family vacation. Grandparents stayed in the primary bedroom with their own bathroom, the smaller 2 bedrooms in the main house were occupied by parents and kids and the guest house was ideal for the childless uncle and aunt who keep weird hours and enjoyed the respite from the chaos. The kitchen was very well equipped. The deck overlooking the lake was our primary gathering spot and we all loved it. Very much appreciated the cleanliness of the place.

The little things add up

The house and location were great it was just a few things that could use a little attention. The yard could use some maintenance before guests arrive like being mowed and dealing with all of the ant beds between the houses.

Good location

Family gathering for a week. Convenient location to get to many restaurants. We had several boats and dock and boat house worked well for us.Could use more places to hang clothes. TV in guest house could not get internet connection and cell service was not enough to support it.Enjoyed view from the main house deck. Up North very responsive to issues that came up.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of three families with six adults and five children all enjoyed this rental home. The separate little hideaway was perfect for four of the children to have their own space. Everything was clean, the deck was wonderful and we loved the lake and kayaks. The con's were that the dishwasher was not working (although I contacted the rental agency and they seemed aware of the problem), the cupboards were a jumbled mess (I rearranged them and made some room for our groceries), and anyone that swam close to shore got swimmer's itch. We just rinsed off after swimming. This is a problem in most lakes that have geese or ducks and not much the owner's can do about it. Overall, this was a lovely place and I would recommend 100%.

Less than advertised.

With 8 adults we required 4 bedrooms. The “guest house” had a horrible smell even after opening windows and running fans. Smelled like a dead animal. Awful. Property manager promised to fix “within a couple days” but never followed up. 2 adults ended up sleeping on uncomfortable couches in the main cabin. Paid for 4 bedrooms but only got 3. Unacceptable.

Beautiful Lake House

Girls weekend and we had a fabulous stay. The house was amazing and accommodated is and our needs. The lake was gorgeous and we had a great time being able to kayak as well. Thank you for sharing this lovely place!

Nice house with a great vibe

Really nice property. Nicely updated and close to Leland and just a short hike to Traverse City. It was really nice sitting on the back porch and just enjoying the weather & view. It was very quiet during our visit and we enjoyed it a lot.

Great Location

Large private space with plenty of room for all 11 of us. Location is great. 500 yards from the boat launch. Also a very short drive to either Leelanau or Sutton Bay (both are worth a trip). Kitchen was very well equipment and the hot water never ran out. Definitely consider renting it again.

The only complaint was the need for a newer mattress in the one bedroom. It was rough. It was right by the water, had decks, a dock and privacy and it would have been great if it didn't rain all weekend!
