Peaceful Place

Clean, spacious, well-equipped! Great location. Lots to explore. Quaint little town. 4 siblings and spouses celebrated our parents 50th wedding anniversary. It was perfect!

Beautiful Weekend in Leland MI

We had a wonderful weekend in this lovely home. Everything was perfect from the well stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds and lovely furnishings. Really a great spot to relax and enjoy northern MI. You cannot go wrong with this property and the host could not have been more gracious. We look forward to staying again as it was the perfect weekend.

Great place for a girls weekend!

Group of five women celebrating our birthdays. Home was warm and welcoming and very clean. Location was perfect for shopping in the quaint town, dining in delicious restaurants and touring the local wineries. Owner was responsive and helpful. Can hardly wait to go back.

Great stay for our extended weekend event

This home was a perfect match for our use over an extended weekend. It provided a home base to stay four our daughter’s wedding in the area. The home was very clean and fresh. The hosts, Joe and Charissa, were very quick in their responses to our questions. I highly recommend this location for a memorable visit to the Leland, Michigan area!

MI Winter Getaway

The house was beautiful and set-up very well for our group of 9 adults to enjoy family time, games/puzzles and conversation. The area was scenic, quaint and nice for walks. The kitchen was big and open allowing good flow to divide and conquer on the various kitchen tasks. The property owners were very nice and responsive.

Family Fall Getaway

It’s our tradition to gather as a family over the Columbus Day weekend. Leland is one of our favorite destinations and this property had a perfect layout for 6 adults and a baby. It’s warm. cozy with well stocked pantry and kitchen. Just a few blocks from Fishtown and Front Street.

Gorgeous property

This house helped make Leland even more magical than it already is. Immaculate, beautiful, well equipped cottage located at the end of a quiet street. Access to a public dock but it feels private as no more than 5 other people were ever there. A great house for kids as there is a fenced in beautifully landscaped backyard. We loved our stay & the owners were a pleasure to work with! We hope to come back to this house for years to come!

Beautiful home

Great location, close to wineries and distilleries. Good stores in town, beautiful area. House was really nice - almost brand new. Contained all our needs to cook breakfast there. We enjoyed the main floor to visit and watch the Cubs win the world series. Only downside was that the fireplace was not working, would have been nice on the cool fall days that we experienced. Still highly recommend this home.

Great place to stay!

This home is beautifully appointed with a well equipped kitchen, is within walking distance to town and a couple of small beaches. Many sites and activities are a short drive away. We would highly recommend staying here. While not a huge issue, but something to be aware of, we were unable to log into our personal Direct TV and Xfinity accounts. They weren’t compatible with the ROKU system.

Phenomenal home only matched by phemomenal owners. Great location with easy walk/bike to town and Lake Michigan (10-15 mins) or 2 minute walk to jump in gorgeous Lake Leelanau. Modern home with all the comforts anyone would need. And the owners, Charissa and Joe, are ready, willing and able to answer all your perplexing questions like, Will you PLEASE sell your home to me?!!! We spent two glorious weeks with 6 other adults and not only was there plenty of room there was plenty of privacy, too. Looking forward to next time, and the time after that, and after that ....

Family Summer Vacation

The cottage was beautiful and clean. It's such a great location, with easy access to town and the beach. Charissa and Joe are wonderful hosts and very prompt with communication. This is a gem!

Felt like home!

This is a beautiful home that is sparkling clean and well appointed! Our family was very comfortable here and we had everything we needed. The hosts were readily available to answer questions and responded quickly. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood and we enjoyed lots of walks and bike rides. We also loved the beautiful decor and artwork throughout the house. We would definitely return to this house for our next visit to Leland!

Lovely Home in Leland

Clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated home. This home is spacious and cozy. We came here with 3 other couples to golf, canoe, visit some wineries, enjoy the Lake Michigan shore and just relax. We had a great time and would definitely come back to this property in the future.

Great location!

Everything was as expected in the listing. The place is beautiful. Was perfect for our group of 10. Great restaurants and Wineries near by you can even walk to. Unique little town. We would definitely stay here again.

Friends staycation

A small group of 4 couples all from San Antonio TX stayed in this fabulous house for 11 days and had the most incredible time!! The house was immaculate when we arrived and was more than we expected. We rented bikes from a bike shop in Sutton’s bay and rode everywhere! The Leland Lodge is a short trip from house and we did multiple days of drinks there and one fun dinner. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped so we did all but two dinners in!!! We would all come back again and stay in this fab house!!! Thank you thank you for sharing!!! Shannon

Family Gathering

Our family had the most AMAZING stay at this CHARMING home in Leland. We were gathering for a surprise 90th Birthday Celebration and we couldn't have chosen a more PERFECT setting. This house is truly special. It is beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable and cozy. The owners have thought of absolutely everything. This home is located on a beautiful street, in a beautiful town - I would HIGHLY recommend it!!!

Walk to everything! Best location and best house to rent in Leland!

If you're thinking about booking a house in Leland, this is the place! I can't say enough about how wonderful this house was. Fully stocked kitchen, fantastic location (walkable to everything), enough space for our group, and even a local friend of ours who dropped by to pick me up was impressed with how beautiful the house was. It was everything we could have wanted in a rental. Charissa + Joe sent us a text when we arrived to check in and make sure we had everything we needed which was thoughtful of them. This is the house for you!

Our family had a great trip. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us! Wonderful holiday weekend

We had a great weekend stay in Leland and loved all of the conveniences of the house including the backyard bonfire, well stocked kitchen, and short walk to town. We loved the comfortable family feel of the house. You can tell this is a custom home that was well built and very loved. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

Our family is thrilled to share our beautiful new home with you. Leland is an incredibly special place to us and we look forward to continuing to build memories here over the years. We have a young family and have found that spending time in Leland is an amazing way to bring everyone together - from the beach to boating to walking the docks at Fishtown, there's always something magical to do in Leland.

This home is located in an ideal location. It is close enough to Fishtown so that you can walk, yet it also feels private and tucked away in a quiet corner of town. It is beautifully appointed and doesn't feel like a rental, it feels like home.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The house is a modern cottage with craftsman touches. It has a fenced in back yard, and is located on a quiet street. With a large front porch where you can sit and relax, you'll be hard pressed to see more than 1 car every few minutes. The back porch is private and large enough for a few people to sit outside and enjoy the birds and gorgeous cedar trees.

The main floor consists of a large, open floor-plan with plentiful natural light that is perfect for family time, giving everyone enough room to spread their wings. The bedrooms upstairs are comfortable and inviting. The master bath has a claw-foot tub to enjoy at the end of the day. The lower level has a den with TV, perfect for a play area for the kids, and 2 bedrooms. Please note the fireplace is NOT available for use by renters.

There is a little known public access dock for Lake Leelanau that is a 1 minute walk from the house. If you feel like walking 30 seconds further, there's another hidden access dock. And then another a few more blocks down. The streets in this area are perfect for bike rides.

We recently purchased a whole-house generator to serve as a back-up power source in the event of a storm taking out the town's power, which has been known to happen a handful of times a year throughout different seasons.
