The Carriage House - Historic getaway in the heart of the city!

Hi there! We are so glad you’re here! We are McGuire Real Estate Management. We are a husband and wife duo, originally from Wichita but now proudly call ourselves "Manhattanites." We moved to the area in 2017 and have grown fond of the friendly community, outdoor trails, and K-State sports! Go cats!

Our Approach: We're not absentee landlords - we're local managers who live in Manhattan and work hand-in-hand with property owners to maintain and improve each home. Being hands-on means we're available, responsive, and genuinely invested in your experience.

We strive to be intentional, and consider the small details so that your stay with us will stand out among the rest. The Carriage House is part of one of Manhattan's most historic homes. It was built in 1859 by Joseph Denison, K-State's first president. The owners have lovingly restored the property since 1994, and we're proud to help share a piece of the Little Apple's history with guests. The location is hard to beat: a quiet, established neighborhood on the west side of town, just a mile from Bill Snyder Family Stadium and minutes from K-State's campus and Aggieville. It's the perfect home base for game days, campus visits, graduations and family weekends.

The historic home sits on beautifully kept grounds with a lovely garden and mature trees, so it feels like a peaceful retreat even though it's right in town. Mornings are perfect for coffee and a good book in the outdoor seating area while you listen to the birds. From there, you're just a few minutes from K-State, Aggieville's restaurants and shops, and plenty of Manhattan favorites. When you want to get outdoors, Tuttle Creek Lake and the Konza Prairie trails are a short drive away. What we enjoy most is the combination of history and convenience. Guests love learning the story of the house, then coming home to a quiet, restful spot after a busy day around town.
