About the host
Hosted by Jennifer Palm
My mom and I co-own this property, and we both live just 15–20 minutes away. We genuinely love being hosts—it's something we're passionate about. This is our third property, bringing us to a total of six apartments across the greater Twin Cities area. We take great pride in creating warm, comfortable spaces for our guests to enjoy.
Why they chose this property
Anoka is a hidden gem—a small-town haven nestled within the energy of the Twin Cities. Its charming downtown is vibrant and full of life, offering something for everyone. You’ll find a delightful mix of restaurants, cozy bars, local breweries, unique boutiques, antique shops, and even theaters for a night out. Whether you're looking to explore, unwind, or discover something new, Anoka has just the right blend of charm and variety to make you feel at home.
What makes this property unique
Built in 1900, this home has been lovingly maintained for over 120 years, preserving its rich character and timeless charm. Throughout the apartments, you’ll find authentic details that capture the essence of a bygone era. From the original coal room in the basement to the vintage floor grate in the living room—once used to warm the upper level—every corner tells a story. Beautiful built-ins, thoughtfully crafted into the home's design, add both charm and functionality, offering a glimpse into the craftsmanship and attention to detail that defined the era.
