You’ll enjoy this brand new cozy modern 1 bedroom 1 full bath basement casita “baseita”. This peaceful “baseita” is the perfect place to relax & unwind after a long day's hike. Easy coded exterior entrance to come and go as you please. Your very own private space. For your convenience you'll have a private easily accessible entrance with your own driveway and parking area, right next to your private outdoor courtyard which offers a dining area and outdoor seating area and a BBQ to enjoy.
We are located in a friendly peaceful neighborhood in Toquerville. Get in touch with mother nature, just outside your front door, there is so much to explore, local hiking trail heads and more. Visit the local park and play a round of pickle ball or basketball in the courts. Plenty of family activities available, just a short1.1 mi drive. Enjoy the stunning views of Southern Utah's red rocks, Smith Mesa, the beauty of green grass pastures with cows grazing across the river's edge, or marvel in the dark starry nights.

Side by sides, UTV's, and any off-road toys and trailers welcome. Plenty of parking and oh so easy to load and unload from the property.

The Basement casita was completed in Aug 2023. With its new construction and modern touches, we wanted nothing less than quality for our guests. This one bedroom one bath casita offers the privacy of your own bedroom. Your stay in the bedroom offers a queen bed with comfy plush linens, walk in closet, iron, ironing board, hangers, and plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Remote controlled ceiling fans in bedroom and living room for a comfortable stay. USB chargers on bedside table lamps.
Pull-out sleeper sofa and single chair conversion bed are located in the living room. Pull out chair conversion bed is very similar to a twin bed and can sleep 1 comfortably. Queen size sleeper sofa sleeps 2. Soft fluffy pillows sheets and blankets provided.

We offer a Fully stocked kitchen. Stocked with cooking essentials: dishes, bowls, silverware, cooking utensils, cups, wine glasses, tea kettle, pots and pans, blender, mixing bowls, and spices. Awake in the morning and have a fresh cup of coffee or tea with the Keurig coffee brewer and fully stocked coffee/tea bar.
Cook pretty much anything in the microwave/convection oven/ air fryer combo.

Stanley, Latte & Bru are the family's resident pooches. The 2 Shihtzu's and Bernadoodle are very quiet, and very friendly they love people and soak up the attention. They might occasionally greet you from above on their stair banister, or you might get a glimpse of them roaming in their fenced backyard. They do not have access to the courtyard or casita and typically keep to themselves.

The Basement casita is located on the bottom level (basement) in our family home. We the owners/hosts live onsite upstairs with 3 dogs, and our cat. The space is perfect for on-the-go guests who are exploring the many areas of Southern Utah, and who don't mind the potential noise a family might make.
