Loved this unit. Very close to the ocean -- could hear the crashing waves at night. Nice Lanai, quiet grounds. An older complex of condos but well maintained and nice landscaping. Unit is really nicely remodeled, tastefully decorated. Spotless clean. Very well equipped. Bed and furniture all good. AC and internet worked well. No dishwasher but somehow we survived - lol.
This quaint little condo was perfect for our 7 night stay. Immaculate grounds, beautiful small heated pool and lovely walled beach area (cannot swim from beach) with chaise lounges, picnic tables, palm trees, umbrellas and clean grills. AMAZING SUNSETS EVERY EVENING!!!Very quiet and relaxing and all guests were super friendly and willing to share their travel stories.Just down street from busy downtown Kona so it’s quiet but close to grocery and several beach options. You will feel the heat from the system that runs the split AC units (work very well) on the lanai that has a beautiful ocean view but you can simply turn off the units when you are sitting on the lanai. There are also several ceiling fans in the condo and one on the lanai. This unit is on the 3rd floor so be prepared to carry any luggage/groceries/day packs up three flight of stairs. It was a great leg workout each day! Main road is very safe to do sunrise walks with a bike/pedestrian lane on each side. We would definitely book this particular unit again. We were able to see whales every morning from the deck. That was quite impressive. The grounds are great. The location was close to town and every place else that we went on the island.
The condo is in a great location about 2.5 miles south of Kona. There is a nice local market (5 min. walk) with fresh fruit, coffee, art and other local goods, along with a couple food trucks. The condo is small but comfortable for two adults. The grounds and pool are well maintained. The condo community was very friendly with several renters and residents gathering at the beach front every evening for sunset.
