Whether you’re exploring the city of SD or lounging by the pool, Blue Crush is the perfect house. This gem is stocked full of family fun and only 6 miles from the Beach and Bay. Quiet and centrally located 5 bedroom 2 bath house, including a game room. Sleeps 10 and is a perfect spot to host family gatherings. Enjoy close proximity to Beaches, Bay, Sea World, the famous San Diego Zoo, Downtown, Concert Venues, Nightlife, Shopping, and World Class Restaurants! Come back to your own Private Oasis. Enjoy, the beautiful flower gardens surrounding the Pool. Play a game of Foosball or Ping Pong or just simply unwind and enjoy a movie on the 55" LED TV in the Living room. House was as advertised. A little dated but very clean and the pool area was great. We had a small issue with the pool and it was taken care of immediately. If you are ok driving or taking Ubers then this is a great spot. If you prefer more tourist vibe with shops/restaurants within walking distance maybe look elsewhere.

Our family enjoyed the proximity to everything we wanted to do. The house was very comfortable and spacious. The neighborhood was really quiet and easy to get around in. Every interaction we had with the host was pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

There is a lot to like about this house. The pool is very nice with warm water and beautiful landscaping. It was very relaxing to just float around and watch the dragonflies and butterflies. There was plenty of seating for everyone in our group and clearly the owner has done some work to fix the house up. Its also in a very convenient location. What would take it from good to great would be some of the details that were lacking. For instance in the primary bedroom, the curtain doesn't fully cover the window, in the kids room one of the windows is broken, and there's a lot of peeling paint, especially by the front door. It was nice to have the mini split AC units, but in the rooms that don't have them it gets incredibly hot. Overall, the house needs more than 1 small fan. The kitchen has newer pots and pans, but is lacking crucial things like a pasta strainer or cookie sheets that aren't completely rusted. There's definitely not enough glasses or mugs for a large group either. We had constant problems with the fridge/freezer temperature & ice maker and the oven smells like gas every time you turn it on. Overall, we had a nice stay, but I think certain details could have been better, especially in the kitchen.

House was in a great location for where would be going, pool was great, plenty of room for my family. Host was great and easy to get a hold of when I had questions.Would recommend to friends and family if they need a place to stay in San Diego.

We stayed with extended family, 9 adults and adult kids. It was clean and everyone had plenty of room. All the beds were comfortable. We only swam once due to weather but the outdoor space is very nice and private.

House was clean with well taken care of yards. We didnt actually use the pool djring our stay but it was clean and private. And the place actually had a garage you can park in as well as street parking tbat you didnt have to fight for.

Excellent vacation rental

Great home to spend a week in as a family (9 of us). Plenty of room and the pool and patio area were perfect for relaxing. We would definitely stay there again.

If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, lived in family home for your San Diego stay on a budget this is the home for you. Our family was in SD for a US Marine Corps family day/graduation ceremony at MCRD and this home was near shopping and easy access to freeways. Our party of 8 was very happy staying here. Kitchen, bedrooms, living room, BBQ grill were all utilized, however this home could use a refresh and a little TLC. Owner was very responsive to our questions.

The property had everything we needed, lots of space and great location, some furniture a little worn but that suited us just fine with little kids. Jacqui was helpful and quick to respond. Would stay again!

Centrally located, wonderful beds and a great host!

The home was the nicest one on the block. Very centrally located with a nice solar powered pool and very comfortable beds. Host was amazi g and very responsive to our needs.

Great stay

Very nice place. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It’s away from everything and yet very close to anything you would want to do. Great communication from host throughout the whole process.

Great Family Stay

Accommodations were amazing from the kids to adults. Beds were super comfortable. Kids loved the bunk beds. Of course the highlight was the pool. Was awesome to be able to BBQ on vacation. Great location in a quiet neighborhood.

Great weekend getaway

We booked this home as a short weekend getaway so we could spend time with our mom for Mother’s Day. With the hot and humid weather we had, we were even more grateful to have been here. We loved being able to relax and unwind whether it was inside in the AC playing games and watching movies or outside in the pool. Thank you (:
