Whether you’re exploring the city of SD or lounging by the pool, Blue Crush is the perfect house. This gem is stocked full of family fun and only 6 miles from the Beach and Bay. Quiet and centrally located 5 bedroom 2 bath house, including a game room. Sleeps 10 and is a perfect spot to host family gatherings. Enjoy close proximity to Beaches, Bay, Sea World, the famous San Diego Zoo, Downtown, Concert Venues, Nightlife, Shopping, and World Class Restaurants! Come back to your own Private Oasis. Enjoy, the beautiful flower gardens surrounding the Pool. Play a game of Foosball or Ping Pong or just simply unwind and enjoy a movie on the 55" LED TV in the Living room. House was as advertised. A little dated but very clean and the pool area was great. We had a small issue with the pool and it was taken care of immediately. If you are ok driving or taking Ubers then this is a great spot. If you prefer more tourist vibe with shops/restaurants within walking distance maybe look elsewhere.

Our family enjoyed the proximity to everything we wanted to do. The house was very comfortable and spacious. The neighborhood was really quiet and easy to get around in. Every interaction we had with the host was pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed with extended family, 9 adults and adult kids. It was clean and everyone had plenty of room. All the beds were comfortable. We only swam once due to weather but the outdoor space is very nice and private.

House was clean with well taken care of yards. We didnt actually use the pool djring our stay but it was clean and private. And the place actually had a garage you can park in as well as street parking tbat you didnt have to fight for.

If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, lived in family home for your San Diego stay on a budget this is the home for you. Our family was in SD for a US Marine Corps family day/graduation ceremony at MCRD and this home was near shopping and easy access to freeways. Our party of 8 was very happy staying here. Kitchen, bedrooms, living room, BBQ grill were all utilized, however this home could use a refresh and a little TLC. Owner was very responsive to our questions.

Excellent vacation rental

Great home to spend a week in as a family (9 of us). Plenty of room and the pool and patio area were perfect for relaxing. We would definitely stay there again.

The property had everything we needed, lots of space and great location, some furniture a little worn but that suited us just fine with little kids. Jacqui was helpful and quick to respond. Would stay again!

Centrally located, wonderful beds and a great host!

Great stay

Very nice place. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It’s away from everything and yet very close to anything you would want to do. Great communication from host throughout the whole process.

The property was not ready for tenants. I spoke up and asked to be let out of our rental the following morning so the owner would be able to prepare the property for the next renters. The property had multiple safety issues and when we reached out to VRBO we were told we had to reach out to the owner it was up to the owner. However, there is a nationwide commercial with a family that rented a home with a broken spa and VRBO moved them to a new property with a working spa. Unfortunately VRBO was not as accommodating to our family. We spent 3 days of our vacation back and forth with the owner and multiple people in the home to review our complaints and attempt to make fixes. This was not the week long vacation our family had anticipated and will go back to staying at resorts. After the I tail complaints there were issues that came up daily but not trying to get past ruing our entire vacation we tried to make the best of it.The property has 1 smoke detector I. The living room.There is a 75 foot dryer vest that runs up a wall over doors around the garage and finally out after about 60 feet that fills the garage with unsafe heat and the dryer takes 4 hours to dry a load. There is a broken window in the front of the home, portable ac that runs out unlocked windows which is unsafe. The freezer defrosted our food, there are cockroaches, cobwebs covering the bbq, patio furniture and black widow eggs under the chairs. Broken & dangling switch plates. There more but I’m out of space.

Great weekend getaway

We booked this home as a short weekend getaway so we could spend time with our mom for Mother’s Day. With the hot and humid weather we had, we were even more grateful to have been here. We loved being able to relax and unwind whether it was inside in the AC playing games and watching movies or outside in the pool. Thank you (:

Great Family Stay

Accommodations were amazing from the kids to adults. Beds were super comfortable. Kids loved the bunk beds. Of course the highlight was the pool. Was awesome to be able to BBQ on vacation. Great location in a quiet neighborhood.

Very clean suburban house, great for families

Very clean, comfortable place in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Plenty of space for three kids to each have their own room, well stocked with toys and games for kids of all ages. Even though it was cold our kids still enjoyed the pool. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!
