A Lovely Stay

We very much enjoyed our 3 week stay at Sunset View. The Columbia, Andy Smiths Home Cooking, Bruno's Italian Restaurant, Flippers, Cape May Cafe breakfast, Rocko's Tacos, Beaches and Cream and Town Tavern were all visited. We ate breakfast at our condo most mornings and swam at the Reunion pools and the water park. The dining room chairs need reupholstered and sofa replaced. Otherwise we were very comfortable!

Poor Property Management

We struggled to get in and out of the unit due to a low battery warning on doors key fob, we reported and it took us getting locked out for maintenance to finally come. Followed by the smoke detector going off in the middle of the night, by once again a low battery. Easily fixable items by property maintenance company. Condo itself was lovely and Reunion is fabulous. Unfortunately, our experience was hindered by poor management of unit.

Don’t waste your money stay somewhere else

This condo is not worth what I paid. The sofa is old and tattered, sinks down in. The dining chairs are stained and broken down so you sink 3 inches when you sit. There was not a single pot holder or kitchen towel. I almost burned myself using a bathroom towel to get pan from oven 1st night when I realized there was none in condo. Had to go to target and buy my own. I told the owners and they said they’d get me some but they never did. Called vrbo and they are no help. They only book the property snd don’t care. Mostly empty cabinets. Very few kitchen necessities. We spend a lot of money eating at the parks so on days not at parks we like to cook a big breakfast and dinner. Not in this condo. It has 3 showers. My 2 girls wanted to shower after 12 hours at Disney. Both had tepid water. Only one shower at a time if you want hot. They sell you on all property access to all pools. But They don’t tell you when you arrive you have to drive to their office and pay $50 deposit for a key, which they run out of so we had to wait to get one,to seven eagles pool, which is refundable when you return the key. Their main pool only has 3 umbrellas for the whole pool. It’s Florida! Almost every lounger is ripped and sagging, you can barely stand to lay on one. The whole condo is old and sad. The property is seriously lacking. The owners didn’t care I was upset about no pot holders or towels. Please don’t choose this property or condo.

Wouldn't stay again

I'm sorry to say that I wouldn't rent from this management company again. I knew the condo we would be staying in was not updated so I didn't go in with expectations that were unreasonable, but I was unfortunately disappointed with our experience. There is a difference between not updated, and in poor condition and unusable. The dryer didn't work at all, it just heated up like an oven. There was no bathroom floor towel provided so we had to use a bathroom floor mat that was dirty and had a blood stain on it. I would have used an extra towel instead but there was no extras and not any way to wash and dry them. There were leak stains and the appearance of mold in the bedroom ceiling. The sofa was in very poor condition. The dining chairs sank in when you sat on them and out you at an uncomfortable height for eating. The pans provided for cooking with were in very poor condition and a health hazard, as you are not supposed to cook on pans that have Teflon scraping off of it. The worst part was not having enough linens in our unit, so we had to take a trip to Walmart at 10pm the night of our arrival to purchase sheets, mattress pad and a trash can for the kitchen. We were refunded our money for these items, which I appreciate, but it hardly made up for the situation. Personally, I would feel very unsafe renting anything in the future from this company because I would not know what to expect and believe I would likely be very unhappy with the accommodations and the lack of customer service.

The overall property was beautiful but the furniture in the living room needs some serious updating. The dining room/living room chairs and couch were sunken in and very uncomfortable. One bedroom had water damage on the ceiling with a hole. I called the emergency line because water was dripping on me and no one even bothered to come to look at or fix the problem.

Clean and comfortable

Condo was very spacious. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Carpet and living room furniture is a little dated. Condo is a little farther from the waterpark then we thought. Not a big deal as our kids are older. It would be a long walk with little kids. Check-in could have been easier. Little things like community maps were not provided.

The property was in a nice location and was, for the most part, well maintained.

The condo was nice and clean. It was quiet and allowed us to relax. There was a small issue with a chirping smoke detector, which was resolved quickly. There was active water penetration during a rain storm in the front bedroom. The television reception was not good with a lot of pixelation. However, we did not spend much time watching T.V. There could have been more dishes and towels given the unit is supposed to sleep 8. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay.
