Profitez du luxe de ce duplex en bord de mer à Kure Beach. Chaque cÎté a quatre chambres à coucher, trois salles de bain complÚtes et une demi-bain. C'est parfait pour une famille de huit personnes. Avec environ 2100 pieds carrés d'espace, votre famille aura beaucoup d'espace pour s'étendre et se détendre. Si ce cÎté n'est pas disponible, l'autre cÎté est presque identique. Besoin de plus d'espace? Louez le Burpeau Unit B, unité K028, attenant, pour les grands groupes!

Au rez-de-chaussĂ©e, vous trouverez deux chambres, une salle de bain complĂšte et le coin buanderie. Le premier Ă©tage abrite le salon, une belle cuisine Ă©quipĂ©e avec des appareils en acier inoxydable et des comptoirs en granit, et une salle de bain et demi. Perfect Location

This was our first time to Kure beach. We loved the location and the place was great. I would have liked a few more seating options in the main living room, it was only one couch. However, we will still stay there again!

Quiet KB family duplex

Location on Kure Beach is perfect with activities within walking distance but far enough away to enjoy ocean sounds - duplex had families on both sides & it was remarkably quiet inside - would definitely rent this again - thank you for providing a perfect home for us to gather by the sea

Great location but run down and worn out

Nice location but:The unit is filled with worn-out furniture, most of which looks like it was purchased from a thrift shop. Nearly all of it is cheap and dated — more appropriate for a Motel 6 than a 450-per-night rental.There is not enough seating in the living room. For a unit advertised to sleep nine, there’s only seating for three — The VRBO listing photos depict a more complete and comfortable seating area, which does not match what’s actually there.The master bed was missing a bed skirt, exposing a stained and worn box spring. The lining under the box spring is detached and hanging to the floor. A blanket pulled from the closet was torn. The rug is dirty, frayed, and covers a squeaky floor with visible water damage.The master bathroom tub has mildew along the top edge. The curtain rod and shower head are heavily corroded. The shower head, clogged with mineral deposits, emits only a weak stream of water. The living room ceiling has visible water stains and separation cracks in the drywall.From the single tiny rock-hard bar of soap in each bathroom to the lone roll of bargain paper towels, the single dishwashing pod for a weeklong stay, one beach chair for two units, and one worn puzzle for entertainment — it all speaks to a minimum of effort to make guests feel welcome, and no effort to make them want to return

Great place

We had a great stay this past weekend. Loved the upstairs deck to work from while looking at the ocean. The walk to the pier and to the beach was easy and quick. We had a surprise with a polar plunge 5k that ran in front twice and that was very cool to cheer on. We only used the upstairs rooms, but the bottom ones looked fine. The absolute only feedback is need another settee/loveseat like in pictures. Would have been nice to have a comfortable option other than hard back chair. Definitely not a deal breaker, we will hopefully stay again with our pups!

Perfect location!

Great property with plenty of room. This duplex is right on the beach and a 2 minute walk to the pier. Will for sure stay there again.

Beach view vacation

Beautiful home, amazing views, walking distance to pier. Clean and quiet. Only bad thing was the smell of previous animal stays and urine smell. Would come back and stay again..

Peaceful

We really enjoyed our stay in the off season. The house was very spacious for our family of 3. We didn’t even use the bottom floor except to do laundry. Although a duplex, the walls seem thick because we never heard our neighbors. Great view, quiet area, and overall a relaxing trip!

Great location and home

Enjoyed the house, nice property and easy walk to beach access. Spent a lot of time rocking on both balconies.

The house itself is very spacious for our family. Beautiful kitchen and loved the view of the ocean. We got there around 9pm and the neighbors came by to say that they had no internet all day. Called the after hours number and someone helped us. The router/modem was in our unit. Got up the next morning, and no internet again. Long story short, no internet or tv but we did get to hook it up to our hotspot. Normally, not a big deal but our 3 year old likes watching t.v. at night. Found out the night before leaving, that the router went out. The shower heads were dated with no water pressure, and the downstairs water had an "egg" smell the first night. Everything else was good. I loved the location.

Beautiful Home with glorious view

We had a wonderful few days at this beachfront home located in the quaint beach town of Kure Beach. The house was clean, well appointed with all the amenities, and well maintained. It was perfect for our 2 dogs who enjoyed laying on the cool tile floors. The boardwalk separating the house from the beach was a wonderful place to walk the dogs and stop and chat with friendly residents and visitors. The 2 porches facing the beach were perfect to sit and relax, while watching the waves roll in. A little beach convenience store just a few blocks away eliminated the need to go to the grocery store. Proximity to the historic Fort Fisher site and the aquarium was also quite nice.

2022 Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week after several issues were corrected. Location and general layout of the unit was very good. However, the cleanliness of the unit was very disappointing. The tile floor in the bedroom with 3 twin beds was absolutely filthy. It turned bare feet black. We found popcorn kernels and other snack items under the beds. We found an empty dorito bag in the master bedroom. Dust bunnies were under all the beds. The tub in the 2nd bedroom upstairs was covered in sand. We cleaned it before our first shower. When we showered on Saturday, the tub filled up above our ankles and took about 5 minutes to drain. The maintenance person pulled a large hairball out of the drain on Sunday. The kitchen dish drainer was very dirty. There were no pot holders, no broiler pan and some of the silverware was dirty. The middle crisper drawer in the fridge was broken. We cleaned the entire kitchen before we felt comfortable using the dishes and silverware. All of the wooden rocking chairs had broken or loose arms and were just generally in bad shape which was a huge disappointment. It just appeared that the unit had not been properly cleaned or inspected. The last question asks if we would recommend the property to a friend. Our answer would be only if they could be assured that the unit had been properly cleaned and inspected and the wooden porch rockers had been replaced.

Best family trip yet!

Our family has been going on a family beach trip every year, for years! This rental was our absolute favorite! The view was spectacular and it was so easy to walk to the beach and back every day! The rooms were super spacious with plenty of room for air mattresses if needing extra space to sleep. We really didn’t need for anything! We will be back!!!

Great view and location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice place to stay, perfect location for a Kure Beach getaway, and an amazing oceanfront view. That said there was a definite mildew smell when you enter the home. Shower curtains may be the culprit, because as soon as water hit them each morning the smell came back and some were red along the bottom. We also felt like there should be more furniture in living area. Maybe a sectional with one back on dining side so people can actually sit and enjoy the amazing view and seat the whole family. The wicker chair is unsteady and the pillows were old and worn. Nobody liked sitting in it, so it was only comfortable seating for four at most. Also, the outside furniture needs to be cleaned. The arms were completely black on the white chairs. Coffee maker didn’t seem to work when plugged in and tuned on and we looked in all the drawers and cabinets and couldn’t find any oven mitts, which created a safety issue. Otherwise was a good place to stay and can’t beat the view and location!

The front porch is a great size and has direct view of the ocean where you can watch the dolphins in the early morning. The kitchen is very spacious and well accommodated with all the essentials.

Beautiful 3 story home on beach

We really enjoyed our stay! Propriety mgmt were great to work with and being just steps from the beach made it so convenient. Loved how close it was to the pier and restaurants as well. Towels from previous guests left in bathroom but not the home owner or prop mgmt fault. We just left them behind the door until it was time to leave and then moved them out to be more visible when we left.

Kure Beach Get Away

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was okay, but we felt deceived surrounding the condition of the beach in front of the home. While we paid a premium for "beachfront" the beach had major construction going on for a good distance in both directions and was blocked so that we were not allowed on it. The night was filled with the noise of heavy equipment (think beeping and large pipes being dropped all night) and the view from the porch in the picture was huge equipment, metal pipes, repair equipment, etc. How do you rent someone "beachfront" without telling them the beach is closed and you will endure days and all nights filled with heavy equipment doing construction--just wrong. We asked to be let out of our agreement and exit early but was denied. Buyer beware as the rental company will not be transparent and honest.
