Recovery Room WEST is a luxury rental with seven bedrooms. A large great room/family room, dining room and kitchen along with a king bedroom, private bath and half bath are located on the main level. Glass doors connect the living room to a covered deck/outdoor eating area which overlooks the sparkling pool, your private hot tub and the beach. On the second level are two king master bedrooms with decks overlooking the beach, a twin bedroom with two single beds, a bunk room with two sets of bunk beds, a queen bedroom and a smaller bedroom with a trundle bed (two twin mattresses). This spacious beach house is the perfect rental for extended family or multi-family vacations and will accommodate 16 guests comfortably. Recovery Room WEST is designed for comfort and convenience. With its fully equipped kitchen, it will be a breeze to prepare a gourmet meal or a quick snack! Great room overlooks pool which overlooks the beach. Recovery Room WEST also offers six flat screen smart televisions with YouTubeTV and other streaming, plus wireless Internet access as well as a washing machine and clothes dryer for convenience. There is also a 86" flat screen smart TV in the living room!
This listing, Recovery Room WEST is half of the Recovery Room East/WEST duplex. Each half duplex home has 7 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Private solar heated pool facing the beach is shared between the two duplex homes. Each side has its own private hot tub. Fort Morgan Peninsula provides a wonderful location for quiet time. The home is on the sugar white sands of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and minutes from Gulf Shores and its many popular attractions. For larger groups, please inquire about reserving both sides, Recovery Room East and Recovery Room WEST, to accommodate groups up to 32 people.

Great property in a great location

Great duplex with plenty of room for extended family. Both the pool and hot tub were great, but you cant beat the direct beach access.

Great vacation!

Loved being able to walk from the house out onto the beach. Very private beach area and not crowded like in Gulf Shores. The house is updated and very nice and the commercial fridge was a plus! Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much!!

Wonderful vacation!

This was our first at Fort Morgan and it was grand! No high rises and just a few steps to beach! The beach in front of our house was literally ours alone. Hope to return!

Amazing, spacious and fully equipped.

Beautiful, clean and spacious property. Manager has great communication and the house has all utensils and amenities you could need. Nice size pool and individual hot tub for each renting side. Beach front with easy access to the beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful house

This is the second time we have stayed here. We loved it so much the first time and again this time. The house is spacious and full of amenities. We love that there’s a private hot tub for each side of the house. We will definitely be staying here again.

The facility was so spacious and the 14 people in the group had plenty of comfortable room to eat, sleep and lounge. The kitchen was beyond stocked with pots and pans, utensils, blenders and essentials. The rooms were very nice, private and comfortable. We would definitely return!

Excellent place!

Can't say enough about Recovery Room West! This place has become almost like a home away from home. I look forward to going every summer. We've spent 4 vacations at this beach house and are looking forward to our fifth this upcoming summer. The owners spared no expense in the accommodations and decor...they have thought of everything. A major bonus for our family is the pool...perfect for small kids!

There were 12 of us. Nice, clean pool with each unit’s hot tub, The kitchen is well equipped with more than adequate seating. We loved every minute. First time to stay here but certainly not the last! Short distance to beach. Loved the spacious porch!

Family beach vacation

Our stay was perfect! You could not beat the location, pool, and easy access to the beach. The house was just as pictured. It was great for our family of 8 adults and 7 children ranging from 2-12. Commercial size fridge and ice maker were great. Kitchen was stocked exceptionally well with everything we needed and more. We had never stayed in Fort Morgan but loved it. Beach was not crowded. Will definitely come back. Communication with the owner was great.

Awesome!

It is a beautiful house right on the beach with a pool. It was super convenient to go back and forth from house to beach as needed. It was especially convenient with our two granddaughters 11 months and 13 months. Ken was quick with responding to any questions or concerns. Would rent again and recommend to others.

Had a great vacation! House was very nice and fit our group perfectly. Very easy to book thru Home -A- Way AP. House was right on beach and area was nice and quiet. The pool was great, especially with the smaller toddlers when the ocean became rough. Had all kitchen items you could possibly need. Had to move grill out to front of unit to use. Great family vacation, looking forward to coming back!

Excellent location on the beach with a great pool

We loved having a pool facing the ocean. The house was just steps to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked and had some left over items (spices, trash bags, etc) from previous renters. The house was spacious enough to have a movie night, plenty of seating for family meals. The property manager responded quickly. The house could use a deeper clean between occupants - we found someone’s head band in the patio and some dirt/food under the beds. I’d definitely recommend this place for large groups wanting direct beach access.

Beach Wedding

We rented both sides (Recovery room east and west) and absolutely had a blast. We had our wedding ceremony on the beach at the end of the catwalk. The house had more than enough room for our group. The house was clean and the location was great. We did have a cold front come in the first day so we didn't get to use the pool but it has two hot tubs that were perfect. Larry was my contact for both sides and made it clear that if something was right, he would have it fixed immediately. Great customer service!

Amazing home for a large group

This property was amazing and exceeded my expectations. We are frequent beach travelers, so I am picky in my expectations. The unit is tastefully updated and the furnishings make for a very comfortable stay for a large number of people. We always had space for everyone to sit and eat, lounge or enjoy the patio. It was great to be beach front and the pool was great perk. The beach and pool were also both well maintained. There were some nails sticking out in the deck that I brought to managements attention, but that was really my only complaint. We did not have issues with the residents staying in the otherside of the unit and did not hear them while we were inside. I would visit again for certain!

Relaxing Vacation

The property had plenty of room for our 7 adults, 3 children and a medium-sized dog. All of the many supplied appliances worked well and we never ran out of hot water. The only significant criticism that I would have is for the hot tub. After the lid had been on for several hours, it would heat to and maintain an acceptable 104 degrees, but after an hour or so of being uncovered, it would gradually decline to the 80's. It either needs service or replacement. One other nit is the lack of wi-fi coverage on the deck. This can be annoying if you want to work outside rather than stay in the house.

First of all, thanks for the 2 food baskets in the fridge, that was very nice. Very nice beach home, very spacious. Loved having the pool and being right on the beach, that was the reason we booked your home. Kitchen was very well stocked with anything you would need. When we arrived as soon as we walked in there was a "dip cup" sitting on the stairs, maybe left by your cleaning service. Was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the home. The bedroom we stayed in, I will call master with balcony, the night stand and TV remote was so dusty I had to clean before setting anything on it. My daughter in law was showering and water wouldn't drain, she pulled a large clump of hair out of the drain. The floors in the bathrooms and base of toilets were terrible, I know they had not been cleaned for awhile. The top bunk beds were not made, we needed all 4, had 4 grandsons staying in that room. The pantry door was filthy, either needs to be cleaned good or painted. I know I am being maybe to picky but I would want to know what a terrible job my cleaning service was doing if it was my home. We have stayed in many, many VRBO homes and they have been super clean, was just disappointed. My whole family loved everything about our stay but they were even pointing things out to me. Just to let you know that Larry Gordon was very easy to work with in booking your home and letting us know place to grocery shop, places to eat, giving us a code to enter home if we got there early if cleaning service was done. Would love to stay again maybe in 2019, we loved the area, but would hope for a cleaner home next time. No privacy/piece from manager

The property itself is great for large groups. Ample space and nice pool area. Very close to the waterline. Concerning issues- •The manager will be around and contacting throughout the entire stay claiming the owners want a concierge setting. The fruit basket was a kind greeting but when texted to set a time for a midweek pound cake drop off seemed a bit extreme.-I refused this! •cameras on the property allowing the manager to watch and contact about what you are doing. This freaked my daughters and us out a bit. •manager used our house parking and pool area for access to the beach for his family on our 1st day (this did not happen again the remainder of the week) •The manager controls the air temperature inside the house via Wi-Fi. We tried to keep it on 68 with no luck, as it would change up to 72-74 on the 2nd floor where we slept every night. ~I mentioned this to the manager and he denied, he then wanted to bring a 2nd dehumidifier into the house. I refused it and asked to keep the temp where we set it but with no luck and it continued to change back up between 10-11pm. •Smoke detectors sounded at midnight for over 10 mins on our 2nd night. •We had no kitchen towels or wash rags. I contacted the manager and notified. I explained I would use stuff I had. Shortly after he walked into the house without knocking or notifying me but without any clothes but a box of paper towels. We brought our 2 daughters & 2 dogs with us. Not only did this create an uneasy feeling for our family but a fear of leaving our dogs in the home as I felt he would come and go as he pleased allowing my pups to get out. •we cleaned litter under the house on the 1st day. Overall We spent an awful lot of $ on this family vaca. It was not the relaxing experience we expected but instead a week of uneasiness and lack of privacy. I feel people should know about all of this prior to booking.

Perfect house on beach!

We have stayed in multiple beach front homes and this is our new favorite. You can’t get closer to the water than this house. The pool is super convenient as adults can watch the kids from the covered patio out back which has lots of outdoor seating for dinner and lounging. The table inside the home is enormous! The kitchen has literally everything you could ask for! We cooked 3 meals a day and had every pot, pan, utensil, and even griddle we needed! We won’t stay anywhere else from here on out!

We love visiting in the peak of summer, during the fall season, as a family for Thanksgiving or Christmas and during the fresh days of spring. In 2010, we took the plunge and bought Recovery Room West. Then in 2016, Recovery Room East. We hope you enjoy our little piece of beach paradise as much as we do!
