Welcome to Breckenridge! Aspen Traditions is located where mountain lifts meet Main Street in the Village at Breckenridge.

Our mountain getaway includes 2 bedrooms and 2 spacious full bathrooms. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen features a breakfast bar with 4 bar stools that look out over the dining area and family room. Our Penthouse condo has a private balcony with panoramic views of Mount Baldy, the city of Breckenridge as well as Peaks 7 and 8.

Please join us to enjoy a magnificent vacation in Breckenridge, Colorado, a four season vacation getaway. During the winter our condo offers ski-in, ski-out convenience. For spring, summer and fall we provide easy access to Maggie pond and overlook the Village plaza. Our condo is steps from shopping and dining on Historic Main Street in Breckenridge.

We provide everything you would want in your vacation rental condo, offering an endless array of on-site amenities. Relax in one of the 4 onsite hot tubs, or enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool, steam room, or sauna. Dine at one of the Village restaurants or relax fireside in your vacation rental after cooking up a gourmet meal in our kitchen.

Whether you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a family looking for lots of space, come stay with us and let us welcome you to our mountain retreat. You will appreciate all the special touches we have had made to our home that we would like to share with you.

Our location is ideal for skiiers and non - skiiers alike. Our condo is in the Shavano building which is adjacent to the Maggie building providing access to Peak 9 and the Quick Silver lift. You can purchase lift tickets and rent your skis within steps of our front door. On the backside of the building is the Breckenridge Ski School. For those that prefer to get away into town, we are 1/2 block from main street.

Dining and Kitchen - Our teak dining table provides seating for 6 and we have two additional log stools that increase seating to 8, the breakfast bar seats 4. The kitchen features slate flooring, slab granite, stainless appliances, including an ultra quiet Bosch dishwasher.

Entertainment - The living area features a 50' LCD, 5.1 surround sound system and a Wii video game console. Imagine your family relaxing in front of the wood burning fireplace while playing Wii or catching up on a recent blockbuster. We also have a queen leather sofa sleeper, an oversized chair and two additional smaller chairs to provide seating for your entire group.

Sleeping - The master bedroom features a luxury 12' king mattress in a log bed, a 32' LCD TV and DVD and a log dresser. The second bedroom includes a queen over queen log bunk bed, 26' LCD with DVD. The leather queen sofa sleeper features a comfortable queen memory foam mattress.

Baths - There are two full bathrooms that feature slab granite counter tops and upgraded lighting. Each has a sink, toilet and shower/tub combination.

Balcony - The penthouse (7th floor) balcony looks out over both peaks 7 and 8 as well as the town of Breckenridge. You can relax on the balcony with your morning coffee (chairs and small table provided) Grill up some burgers or steaks on the outdoor electric grill.

Extra touches - underground heated parking, free local calls, unlimited basic wireless internet, custom made log ski racks for ski storage

Updates and renovations - we completely remodeled the condo during the summer of 2011 and installed new carpet, new slate flooring, new paint, slab granite in both kitchen and bathrooms, all new appliances, new solid pine doors, along with all new furniture, mattresses, bedding and decor. In the years since our remodel, we have added a new larger TV to the family area, added additional ski decor, replaced linens, kitchen items, added more movies and Wii games, along with some new board games. We strive to keep our condo in great condition for your enjoyment.

About John

We have a family tradition of visiting Breckenridge during all seasons to enjoy everything that the Breckenridge has to offer. Please come stay at our Condo - Aspen Traditions - and create your own tradition. We have four young children that love being in the mountains and enjoy all aspects of Breckenridge: hiking, biking, skiing, ice skating, sledding. We live close by in Denver and get away to Breckenridge as often as we can.

John purchased this condo in 2011

Why John chose Breckenridge

For a number of years, our family has dreamed about owning a ski condo. John and Marty Jo both enjoy skiing and spending time in Breckenridge year round, and our kids have also grown to love the mountains. We really like the area near the south end of Breckenridge, it provides close proximity to both the mountain ski area and to the town.

In 2010, the Village at Breckenridge underwent a complete exterior renovation including all new windows, doors, exterior stucco/siding and roof. This renovation also included the addition of a new clock tower which is visible from most locations in Breckenridge.

In late April 2011, we purchased this condo at the Village at Breckenridge. This location is ideal for both vacation renters as well as for our family given the close proximity to town and the ski-in ski out location.

What makes this condo unique

Our condo is kid friendly - we provide items to help 'kids' of all ages enjoy their stay from a pack and play to kid sized dishes to a highchair to a Wii gaming system.

Incredible accommodation for a 12 day stay with my family

I am embarrassed that it has taken me 2 months to write a review but it has been a busy winter. Me, my husband and our 6 year old son stayed here after Christmas for 12 days and could not have chosen a better place. There was so much room to spread out, the beds were comfortable and the owners have gone out of their way to ensure that you have everything you need (family games, humidifiers, ample kitchenware, firewood, on and on). The property is so convenient to the Maggie, ski school, obviously the slopes and our favorite restaurant "The Quandary Grill". It only took us about 5 minutes to walk from the room to the pool and hot tub and it was such a pleasant surprise to find out that we could get to it through the Heated, Covered Parking Garage. My son's favorite part about the condo was the double KING bunk beds. He felt like a king. The whole family enjoyed smores and hot dogs over the fireplace on more than one occasion. The coin operated washer and dryer were literally steps from the room which made it convenient since we were there for so long. Marty and John even went out of there way to send additional firewood when I shot them a text asking where I could pick up some more! Which by the way, "The Store" has everything you may need while on vacation and is only about an 8 minute walk as well. Great views, excellent hospitality, cleanliness and so much more. We will definitely be staying here the next time we come to Breckenridge!

Great condo located in a great location, but had issues with cleanliness.

The condo itself is nice. It has a great layout for a large group and it located within walking distance of both the slopes and downtown. Our major issue with the condo was cleanliness. Upon arriving at the condo, we opened the door and were met with an awful smell (rotting fish?). After some investigating, we determined it was coming from the garbage disposal. We did our best to clean the garbage disposal and contacted the owners. They suggested that in addition to cleaning the garbage disposal that we should open the windows. Although despite our best efforts, we were not able to distinguish the smell and communicated this to the owners. At no point did they offer to send someone out to fix the situation and when we asked for a refund for our cleaning fee we were given a hard time. Eventually the owners did provide us with a small refund, but we do not feel that this amount accommodated us for our extra efforts in cleaning the garbage disposal and our inconvenience for spending our weekend in a condo with a foul smell. In addition to this we had a few other issues with the cleanliness of the condo. These include a used/dirty towel hanging in the bathroom upon our arrival, the kitchen surfaces and handles had not been wiped down and cleaned, the kitchen lights had a large layer of dust on them, and the bed comforter in the guest room was significantly stained. Unless the owners address the cleanliness issues in this condo, we cannot recommend this condo to others.

Owner's Response: Melissa - I really wish you would have let us know of your concerns upon arrival, we have local staff that we could have sent out to resolve them. While you did make us aware that there was a drain smell, you preferred to enjoy your 2 day stay uninterrupted. We have addressed the drain smell and will work with our local cleaning crew to prevent future issues.

Great condo, convenient to downown

Nicely appointed with everything you’ll need for a great stay. Very convenient to all the shops and restaurants on Main St. If you’re there during ski season you’ll be just steps away from the Maggie and the Quicksilver lift. Overall a very nice condo.

Fabulous Family Stay

We had a fabulous stay in your beautiful condo! My two adult sons, my husband and I had a wonderful week in beautiful Breckenridge. My family (19 of us) were in town celebrating my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Our condo was the "go to" place to meet as it is so open and welcoming! Everything was perfect! It was so nice to be in walking distance of so many activities. Thanks for a great stay!

Very nice place, great location!

We stayed over thanksgiving and the location was what sealed the deal. The condo is remodeled and is very nice. Loved the fireplace and balcony. Easy access to the hot tub and pool. We loved that you could walk out of the lobby and be at the base of peak 9 or walk right downtown. Our kids loved our trip and the condo was a huge reason why.

Discounts provided for longer stays (please use "send email", they will not show up under "instant quote") and minimum nights may be updated at any time.
Cancellation policy - (VRBO doesn't provide a custom option, so this is an addition to the policy that is shown.) If the cancellation occurs within 60 days of your scheduled arrival, all monies will be retained by the landlord. The landlord will make best efforts to re-rent the unit. If the unit is re-rented for all or part of the original tenant reservation, the deposit minus $100 cancellation fee and any differential in rental amount will be returned. Failure to make final payment by the due date will be considered a cancellation.

Owner's Cancellation Policy
