The host and the property maintenance group were very responsive when we encountered a minor issue upon arrival. It was a great location close to all that Narragansett has to offer. The house is comfortable, and the kitchen is spacious enough for everyone to sit and enjoy a meal or play games together. The bed in the downstairs bedroom is not very comfortable; however, the room is huge and has a TV and full bathroom. The neighbors were very friendly. Overall, it was a great house/location for my family and me to vacation together.

Great place!

The house is very comfortable and convenient! The nearby beaches are great. So fun using the kayaks! Very glad we stayed here.

House was very comfortable and well equipped. Not being familiar with the area, I was pleasantly surprised with the location and how close it was to Newport, Jamestown, and some beautiful State Beaches that weren’t crazy crowded even on Labor Day weekend. We loved having meals/drinks on the great deck.

Lovely vacation home

This home is very conveniently located but feels very private thanks to the location on a pond. The views out the back windows are gorgeous! There is plenty of space for a family vacation and we enjoyed the spacious kitchen-dining room lay-out.

This house has access to many of the local amenities, and halfway between Newport and Pont Judith. Happy to hear the renter enjoyed the spacious 3 Level home and open kitchen dining room area. Relaxing on the deck and observing nature is a nice way to spend any part of a day in this quiet neighborhood. Two kayaks near the Association's Beach make it easy to get out on the Narrow River too.

What a lovely cottage! The setting is beautiful, plenty of space in all the rooms, great kitchen and restful deck overlooking the pond. We enjoyed the breezes, wildlife and peace of the cottage. Thoroughly wonderful week there.

RI Labor Day Weekend Getaway

Family Getaway

The family went on a family getaway to Rhode Island We stayed at Deb and Chris’s rental house The house was beautiful and plenty big enough for the 6 of us adults and a toddler Its location was perfect for many of the local restaurants, attractions and near the water. Nice house! Plenty of room with the four bedrooms. Would have helped if house owners provided sheets and towels! Nice view off the deck and good central location.

Relaxing family vacation

We had a great stay location was fabulous as we could enjoy the pond views from deck, salt water lake right up the road and beautiful beaches within 10-20 min of the house. We visited Newport and did a fishing charter lots of activities in the area for all ages in our group. We’d love to come back again it was a very relaxing environment, the house had good space and location is great.

Relaxing vacation

The house was perfect for our mature family. We had space when needed but was also able to enjoy the open kitchen together for meals together. Would definitely come back. The neighborhood was gorgeous.

Family vacation

The house was in a great location, we especially enjoyed the lake and kayaks that were available. The furniture is older in the house butbwas to be expected from the reviews and the pictures, except the kitchen was updated and very nice. . The house was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was a great vacation spot for our family vacation and enjoyed by everyone!

Quaint home in relaxing neighborhood

Our family had a great time in this home, super easy access to Newport as well as beaches in Narragansett. We spent much of our time outside on the deck area of the house overlooking the pond. Great, family friendly neighborhood that was very relaxing and accommodated all of our needs and would stay here again.

Fun vacation with friends

We loved the proximity of this house to all the beaches. If you’re traveling with toddlers, don’t forget to bring (or rent) some baby gates. We especially loved the playground down the street.

Glad you were able to enjoy the nearby playground. Thank you for reminder on baby gates - one is available upstairs for the top of stair - will look into a rail to rail gate for bottom of stair. We also like the location with Narragansett beaches to the south and Newport beaches to the north. Hope to see you back.

1 week was not enough

We loved our stay here and wish we had more time . The house was perfect for our family of 2 parents and 3 kids in their late teens and 20s. Bedrooms spacious and kitchen was great. We loved the outdoor grill the walk to the lake and the kayaks. Great neighborhood and perfect location. So happy here

All the comforts of home and then some.

Lovely and quiet neighborhood setting made this property a relaxing home base for our visit to Rhode Island. The many oceanside and inner state attractions we enjoyed were all just a short ride away. The owners were very responsive to our many inquiries and communications leading up to, and during our stay. The home is very clean, seemed like newly renovated, and is well appointed with everything we would have needed.
