Very much enjoyed our Anchorage stay at the Slumber Village. Excellent location and very nice apartment, I'd say better than I expected based on the photos. Easy check in and great communication with the owner. Kitchen well equipped, comfortable bed. Definitely coming back on our next visit in Anchorage.

Host was a wealth of information for things to do close by. Very accommodating. Quiet enough to enjoy the evening by the fire pit. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely book another stay in the future! Thank you again to our Host for being so gracious!

It was such a cute place to stay and communication was good. Few things, the TV acted up and the internet did not want to connect the first night. I just wanted to get there and relax after a long day of traveling and that made me a little upset. Although, the next day, they both worked just fine. Wish there was some sort of scent or spray and some pens and paper as well. Last, bedside table would be awesome to use instead of a stool. Other than that, great stay and enjoyed the cabin.

Just as advertised.

Enjoyed our stay at Slumber village! Close to restaurants, easy to find, off street parking, and inside, towels fluffy, heater worked well for those cold Alaska nights, bed comfortable. We didn’t cook so cannot comment on oven or stovetop. Tall dining table with stools in front room. Had a request and on site host able to respond promptly. Even forgot an item and host sent it by mail back to my home when meet up timing didn’t work for both parties! I would rent here again.

We stayed in a different bungalow than was advertised in the listing. Furniture was different and not as much of it. Curtains are sparse and don't totally cover the windows. It was clean, but needs some detail work around the edges--floorboards need painting, bathroom could use some TLC. The shower is situated so that water sprays all over the bathroom floor, no matter where you point it. The place was clean when we arrived. It is cute with lots of potential.
One curtain that does not cover the window totally. In the listing, this little room has a few chairs and table. It is actually empty.
This is the kitchen window. Curtain has been chopped off at the bottom to make it fit.
In the listing, the bedroom has 2 end tables and 2 lamps, as well as a shelf. This room has a bed and a stool.

The property inside was nice and fit our needs. The appearance from the outside was quite shocking and it became obvious very clearly why no exterior photos were included in the listing. Communication from the Owner left me feeling like a number. Twice, I asked direct and specific questions, and twice I got generic ‘canned’ replies that did not answer the questions, and left me wondering if they had even been read, including one that said discounts for local attractions had been ‘negotiated for us’. Give me a break - an answer like that insults my intelligence and left me feeling like nothing more a revenue source. Five minutes of attention from the actual Owner and not the management company and this rating might have been a star or two higher.
