NOISE Guest acknowledges that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm. Sound will travel through the walls if too loud.

Comfort and Space

The J House was perfect for my kids and I. This home has a lot of space and everyone had their own retreat when we needed down time. The large kitchen and family room area were great for meal times and hanging out. The house was very clean. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Family Weekend/Cowboy Carter (Beyonce) Concert

We couldn’t have made a better choice regarding our accommodations for our “Cowboy Carter” weekend in Houston. The location was inviting; beautiful houses and townhomes lined the streets; and great restaurants were within 10 mins from our location. Everything at the home was just as described with each room perfectly matching the photos. Three floors of well decorated spaces added an ambiance that was uniquely suited for our home away from home. We will FOR SURE book with our hosts again.

Great stay in a great location!

We enjoyed our Christmas family reunion in Houston. The home was exceptionally clean, beds were comfortable, and location was great. I loved being within walking distance of trails and restaurants/coffee shops. Lots of natural light and quiet location.

Great loaction

The VRBO was really nice and had everything we needed. The hosts were great and were very responsive. The house is well setup and the sunken living is a great place to converse. It was also lovely that they left us a bottle of wine to enjoy. I plan on booking this place again when I am in Houston. It’s a great location in a safe neighborhood.

Houston Weekend Trip

It was a comfortable and enjoyable stay in this Vrbo. The host was helpful and the checkin and checkout process was a breeze. No issues. We even forgot a jacket and the host was responsive and helpful in helping us get it back.

Tie The Scott Wedding Trip

I was impressed with the space and the way it was used. The house was very clean, and had plenty of towels and bed linens. The pictures are nice on the site, but I thought the place was much better in person. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Houston. Thanks Ben and Christine

Disappointing stay, checked out EARLY

Listing pictures and descriptions looked great, however buyer beware...... Our first impression was pretty terrible. The garage had a FILTHY smell to it, like garbage had been left there for many days in the Houston heat. Also, there was hundreds of flies in the garage and they were swarming everywhere. The first floor bedroom had a similar garbage smell and the flies were in that bedroom as well. Upon entering the house, we noticed a moldy smell as if this house had previous water damage that was covered up or repaired. The kitchen sink had a terrible smell coming from the disposal as well. It was as if food was left in the disposal without being cleaned. The toilet on the 3rd floor guest bedroom was non-operational and I had to add additional water with a cup to flush the toilet. The mattress/frame on the 3rd floor guest bedroom was also one of the most terrible mattresses the guests slept on. They said that they could hear squeaking/creaking with every small move they made while laying down which led to an absolute terrible nights rest.The towels in the bathroom felt cheap and they did not absorb any water, which led to a very uncomfortable experience after our first shower. Also, the sink vanities in this house were much lower than the standard height so all of us nearly broke our backs while trying to wash our faces.We were so uncomfortable during our stay that we didnt even stay the last night. We all decided to just check out early and end our vacation.
