SECLUDED BEACHFRONT RETREAT: This new-to-market, impeccably renovated oceanfront residence boasts an unrivaled beachfront location. Forget about cumbersome boardwalks or lugging supplies; the beach is your backyard. With unobstructed panoramic vistas, you can relax on the deck's Adirondack chairs and still engage effortlessly in conversation with loved ones on the beach. Positioned far from bustling public access points and heavily populated areas, it feels as if you have your own private stretch of shoreline. Moreover, you're just a short mile away from majestic parks with miles of nature-filled trails, and delicious dining and entertainment options at open-air, beachfront restaurants--like The Sandbar, which serves craft cocktails and touts itself as having the largest whiskey and bourbon selection in Florida (over 1200!). Only a two-mile bike ride or 5-minute drive separates you from the historic downtown, with an exciting array of dining, shopping, and live music venues.
BREATHTAKING OCEAN VIEWS: The open-concept living space offers sweeping ocean views from both the first and second levels. (Many island rentals lack first-floor ocean views because they sit too low, only revealing sand dunes from inside.) Outside, the second-floor oceanfront deck features comfortable, ergonomic Adirondack chairs, perfect for savoring morning coffees, capturing spectacular sunrises, and relishing memorable sunset cocktails. The first-floor oceanfront patio is complete with an eight-person dining table and gas grill, providing an inviting setting for gatherings and open-air, beachfront meals.
MODERN LUXURY WITH AN EMPHASIS ON CLEANLINESS: No corners were cut during this upscale, spa-style renovation. The house is adorned with a soothing color palette and coastal décor, with modern furnishings from refined brands like Serena & Lily, Pottery Barn, West Elm, Universal, and Hooker. Premium luxury plank flooring, natural woven wood blinds, and quality La-Z-Boy leather furniture grace the interior. Notably, there's no carpeting or heavy curtains to trap odors, germs, or dirt, ensuring that all surfaces can be impeccably maintained.
TRANQUIL SLUMBER: Your sleep experience is paramount. The mattresses are top-tier brands like Sealy and Aireloom, incorporating the latest comfort technologies. Bed linens are soft and cooling, spanning from Charter Club 550-thread count Damask sheets to Ralph Lauren heavenly pillows, available in various densities to cater to your sleeping preferences.
WELL-EQUIPPED CULINARY KITCHEN: The kitchen is a haven for food enthusiasts, boasting a duel fuel stove with a gas range and griddle, an electric oven with air fryer functionality, a refrigerator with a craft ice maker (ideal for cocktails), and a complete array of high-end cookware and serving dishes, including a Vitamix blender, crock pot, and sous vide style immersion cooker. Plus, in addition to a Keurig and a coffee pot, a barista-style coffee machine lets the demanding coffee connoisseur enjoy freshly ground coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, and espressos with a single touch. There is also a 2nd refrigerator in the garage.
ELEGANT BATHROOMS, OUTDOOR OASIS, and DEDICATED LAPTOP OR BEAUTY PREP SPACE: The house showcases two exquisitely tiled bathrooms, stylish vanities, and Kohler's contemporary Purist fixtures. For those who relish the sound of the ocean during showers, a private outdoor hot/cold cedar shower is accessible from the first-floor patio. An additional dedicated area on the first floor accommodates overflow demand for beauty prep (blow-drying and makeup). This space also serves as a conducive work area for firing up your laptop while savoring ocean views.
YOUR PERFECT ESCAPE: Homes like this are a rare gem on Amelia Island. The combination of breathtaking views, proximity to the beach and downtown Fernandina, and the home's exceptional quality make it an unparalleled find. The fact that it's available for rental is even more exceptional. You'll find the home loaded with beach chairs and umbrellas, towels, toys, games --everything we could think of so you wouldn't have to. I assure you, as soon as you step through the front door and gaze out at the awe-inspiring seascape, the charm and comfort of this special home will dissolve all stress, ushering in a truly unforgettable vacation experience.

About the host
Hosted by Adele Suddes
Tired of the snowy winters of New England, my husband and I left our corporate careers and moved to Fernandina Beach in 2016. We looked pretty hard throughout Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas before landing in this area. We could not find ANY PLACE that came close to the enchantment of Amelia Island. From the quaint historic downtown and charming local culture to the pristine miles of beach and untouched natural beauty, we found no close second.
Fast forward, to today. I thought I wanted to retire, but found myself thinking of a way to bring my former marketing and customer service career together with my love of the area. I immersed myself in the local real estate market, got my real estate license, and never looked back. Real estate gave me the outlet to bring joy to people’s lives and create memorable customer experiences—it’s what I LOVE to do.
When I saw this property come on the market, buying it was an easy decision. My husband and I renovated it as we would our home, and NOT as a rental property. Every decision was made with high quality in mind and with painstaking anguish about creating an inviting, serene and sublime vacation experience. We named the property “I’ll Be a Beach” in honor of my 90-year old Italian father and an expression he’s used throughout his life when he is in awe of something (with a couple letters switched out!).
Why they chose this property
A primary reason why we bought the property---the neighborhood is amazing! Our beach is uniquely beautiful and hypnotically peaceful. Let me explain why. It’s not just the take-your-breath-away blend of ocean, sand dunes, sea oats, and often sighted dolphins and sea turtles. On Amelia Island, the only way to offer a vacation rental is if the home is in an area that is zoned “high density,” and as such, most vacation rentals on the Island are therefore in busier areas with more pedestrians and traffic. The only exception is if you are lucky enough to have a property where the vacation permit has been kept active over the years and thus grandfathered to allow vacation rentals. These unicorn oceanfront properties are in quieter residential areas, and enjoy a beach that feels almost private. My husband and I joke when we see people on our stretch of ocean saying “who is that on OUR beach.” We are so grateful to have the best of both worlds: a heavenly beach but still within walking distance and access to all the fun retail, dining and entertainment you might want.
What makes this property unique
When you rent our home, you’ll get an unparalleled and rare combination of quality, elegance, and comfort against a backdrop of beach and ocean that will make your soul sing. That’s the only way I can think to describe “I’ll Be a Beach.” As your host, my real estate career keeps me on my toes with current, local knowledge and I standby ready and accessible to answer any questions you might have to ensure your stay is truly extraordinary.
God bless, Adele
