The property is located between the beautiful beach of the Pacific Ocean and the protected mangroves of the Portoviejo River. Casa Caballito de Mar is located on a section of beach about two kilometers (20-minute walk) south of downtown San Jacinto, a fishing village north of "la Boca," the point where the Portoviejo River flows into the sea. La Boca has been a peaceful place of recreation for the Manabitas for many generations.
