Cabaña De Madera En El Bosque

Nuestra cabaña tiene 11 acres, pero solo tenemos un vecino en el verano. La cabina está en el lado de una montaña privada a 1300 pies de altura, por lo que hay una montaña completa para caminar o caminar con raquetas de nieve (todos los tamaños disponibles para su uso). Nuestro porche da a un arroyo que pasa justo al lado de la casa que funciona todo el año. Debido a que es remoto, el servicio de telefonía celular es irregular en la cabina, pero puede usar llamadas WIFI o la línea fija, tenemos televisión por satélite y una televisión inteligente si tiene suscripciones a Netflix / Amazon Prime / HULU, etc. También hay trineos, raquetas de nieve y tubos de nieve.

La cabaña está a 10 minutos de la tienda general de Sherman, Great Sugar Houses (fin de semana de jarabe de arce a fines de marzo) y granjas artesanales y lácteas (hay un fin de semana de queso de Vermont y las granjas lecheras ofrecen recorridos). En 20 minutos puede llegar a Manchester (18 millas), Bromley Mountain está a 25 millas, The Norman Rockwell Homestead en Arlington y otra gran tienda general están a unos 15-20 minutos. En Dorset hay una gran cantera de mármol para nadar; Unos 15-20 minutos.

Saratoga Springs es de aproximadamente 35-40 millas y el viaje no es malo si desea ver las carreras de caballos o ir a los baños minerales.

Hay todo tipo de juegos de mesa y una mesa de billar en el nivel inferior. También hay una sala de lavandería en el nivel inferior.

El dormitorio en el nivel principal tiene una cama queen, el dormitorio de nivel inferior tiene dos gemelos y los dormitorios de arriba tienen 4 gemelos en cada uno, pero duermen cómodamente dos adultos en cada uno. Debido a que estamos en la ladera de una montaña, el nivel inferior es un paseo y el dormitorio tiene una ventana.

Our stay at this cabin was wonderful. The peaceful, private setting, the beauty of the cabin and its surroundings, the completely stocked kitchen, and the fireplace at night made this a perfect place to stay on our trip to New England. We would definitely stay here again.

Priceless experience

What a gorgeous cozy and comfortable cabin. Clean and detailed decorated. We were so happy with the stay. Beautiful location, we enjoyed the surroundings a lot.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

Surrounded by beautiful nature, cabin was welcoming and cozy. Steve is a great owner and very caring as well. We were there 7 nights/8days and it rained for 3 days but we found other things to do other than hiking and enjoyed ourselves. Only wish there were ceiling lights in the bedroom and the living room, it is quite dark to read or play games. We would visit this place again.

Cabin in the Woods

If you are looking for a quiet, secluded place to get away from it all this is the place for you. Very quaint and relaxing. We enjoyed our time here. It has a babbling brook you can hear from the screened in porch. Good internet connection. Walking trail thru the woods.

Cabin in the woods

This was our 2nd year staying at the cabin. The owner, Steve, was readily available and contacted us to make sure all was good. There was ample firewood and the fireplace is excellent. If you wanna shoot some pool or throw darts, etc. this is the cabin to be in. The kitchen is well stocked. This is a good home base as it’s close to Mt. Snow, for snowmobiling, a few resorts for skiing and any other outdoor activity you’d like to do. If shopping is your forte, Dorset and Manchester are close by. We look forward to visiting Vermont ext year.

Phenomenal

If i could gi e a 10/10 i would. Our family had an amzing time at the cabin. It was clean, well appointed, stocked and made us all feel right at home. The host was very available andeered all our questions. And gave us lots of onstruction. We didnt read all and had quite the adventure getting up to the cabin. You MUST have awd/4x4 driving capability if its snowy.

Fly infestation

Property location very nice. However cabin was infested with flies which was extremely annoying and made our stay very unpleasant. Although the location was presteen we won't be renting in the future.

Log Cabin in the Woods - Vermont

Very nice place and enjoyed our stay. We mostly cooked in for our dinners which is a nice feature, food allergy issues. Weather was cool how we like it though a bit rainy. The stream was so relaxing while sitting on porch and could do our morning Self-Reiki. Fireplace was awesome and enjoyed very much. Wish there was more history about the place and land it is on. Maybe next time lookup a more in-depth about the history of the area. Forgot to mention I am sensitive to smells so laundry detergent with scents is no-no for me.I would recommend people to stay here it is secluded though we didn't find that a hindrance.

Very nice out of the way location. Very secluded but easy to find. Lots of room especially for a couple. Screened porch was very relaxing. Loved that firewood was available for the working fireplace. I would recommend this location!

Great place to get away

Loved the cabin and the location, Steve was a great host and responded quickly to a couple of questions we had, the cabin and property are very well kept. I would definitely stay here again and I strongly recommend it for anyone looking to get away from the rush of things.

Weekdays get away

Steven , the cabin and property were all great. We learned a lot about the region on this trip. If not from around the area do some research for the area. Map/atlas would be useful. The phone service for trying to do anything spontaneous on the move including eating out was frustrating.

So enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The screened in porch was very relaxing. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed & the beds were very comfortable .The location is great for visits to NY & beautiful small towns in Vermont.

6 out of 5 stars - we loved this cabin

We had a *super* time at this cabin. Very secluded, a small trail right out the back door, lots of trails a close drive away, and a perfect, cozy space to spend time together when it's raining or you need a break. We came for our honeymoon, and enjoyed sipping tea on the porch as the brook went by, reading by the fire at night, and enjoying the outdoors during the day. The kitchen is very well stocked; there was nothing we needed but couldn't find. Overall it's clear this is a loved and well thought out home - not just a place to rent - that is a joy to stay in. You could in theory have a lot of people stay here, but it's great for 2, as you don't need to use the upstairs or downstairs space with all of the twins at all.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat

WOW! When we arrived we were immediately taken back by the incredible setting of this log home. The owner makes it very easy for arrival, with lots of notes and information about the home and the area. It was nice to sit and read the lovely notes that previous guests had left for them. The home is very clean and inviting, instantly putting our minds at ease. We had expected it to be a bit more rustic, but they have literally thought of everything to make their guests more comfortable, and the kitchen is very well appointed. Our favorite spot was the screened in porch off the living room. We found ourselves there each time we were at the house, as the creek that runs past was soothing and relaxing. You could simply feel the stress of life disappear at this home. There is a little country store not far up the road that is so adorable, and this home is very convenient to Dorset, must eat at the Dorset Inn, and Manchester Village. There were three of us, and we each took a bed on our own separate floors. We especially loved the shower in the bottom floor, as the entire bathroom is tiled as the shower. The house is full of games, a pool table, and a wood burning fireplace, none of which we had time for, as our visit was far too brief. We have all agreed that we need to book our next Vermont trip soon, and hope that Steve and Nancy will have us back, but next time we must stay longer to get to enjoy more of their home. Thank you again for a memory that will last a lifetime.

Peaceful Mountain Home

Easy to get into, it was secluded and off the beaten path, yet close to skiing, shopping and many wonderful old general stores. The bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was well stocked. A great fireplace. Steven did check in with us to make sure everything was going well and if we had any questions. The property outside is great from the stream running through the property to the small waterfall you can hear throughout the day and evening. The place is very close to all the maple syrup making. Highly recommend checking out the Mountain Valley Maple Farm in West Rupert, which is about 5-10 minutes away. Would highly recommend this home to anyone taking a trip to southern Vermont. Thank you Stephen and Nancy for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home. Hope to stay again in the future.

Well-Loved Cabin in a Peaceful Location

Overall great stay! We used the fireplace every night and had plenty of wood the entire time. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and the place was well kept. Lighting in the cabin gets a little dark at night (especially if cooking), but it adds to the cozy atmosphere if you’re just relaxing. We did find a used Q-tip on the bed when we arrived, but outside of that, the cabin was clean. We would recommend this place for anyone who wants a nice relaxing stay away from the loud responsibilities of everyday life.

Christmas Vacation

The Spirito family cabin felt like ours for the week. It was fully equipped with anything and everything you need. So many beds, so many games, so many memories made on this trip. Beautiful piece of property with lots of quaint towns to explore near by. The NY border is just minutes away which made it fun for our kids to check another state on the vacation list. And total added bonus for hiking enthusiasts, the AT trail is right up the block. We saw trail heads all over the place for it. Super cool. Thank you for sharing this gem with us. Much appreciated.
