Quiet Country House

Had everything we needed. Host very accommodating. Placed a single bed on the first floor for our elderly family member. The quiet country sunset was beautiful. Would stay again.

Perfect for us.

Nice country location, easy to find, close to Iowa City, but quiet! We travel with our dogs often, and this was perfect for that! Fenced area, no carpets inside, and pet friendly furniture. Worked perfect for us, will likely use again when visiting family in the area.

Return to Iowa Trip

Great location of Hwy 6 and close to Iowa City & West Liberty. Beds were average. Well, fully stocked kitchen. Excellent WiFi & satellite TV service. Host let us use the BBQ grill and the 2 car garage. Would recommend for short stays.

Hospital Support

My wife and son stayed at this house while I was at the University of Iowa Hospital. It was a nice place to retreat from their visits with me at the hospital. I had stayed with them the first night before going to the hospital. My wife enjoyed the decor and setting and our small dog enjoyed the yard.

Country Living

We stayed at Tara’s place on a football weekend in Iowa City. It was an easy 15 minute drive to campus. It was nice to have two bathrooms along with the two bedrooms, a comfortable living area and nice kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. We would stay again in the future.

Farmhouse Charm

We had a great week-long stay and would definitely stay again. The home has old farmhouse charm with fully modernized kitchen and baths. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen essentials like pots & pans, dishes, glasses & mugs, cooking utensils, etc. Everything was clean and fresh upon our arrival. Tara is a great hostess and communicates very well.

Family Reunion

Wonderful Farmhouse Charm. We were comfortable when we were away from everyone else. The owner was quick to respond when i had silly questions. If i find myself in Iowa again i will stay here again. All vital necessities were available in the kitchen. There was a grill available and great parking garage.
