What a beautiful place ! Host was wonderful people! Very clean , the property was breathtaking , comfortable sleeping , everything u needed and then some was there . We just loved it
Wonderful! It’s a charming 2 bedroom garden apartment attached to a beautiful home in a wooded neighborhood. During our stay, we were mesmerized by stargazer lilies blooming on the patio. Our fabulous host, Theresa, provided everything we could need and more! The hot water in the shower was a bonus during our work trip. The lovely shared yard was a dream to have for a little fur baby and there was a tv in the living room for our movie nights. All in all, we were grateful to find this gem!
This rental is located in a picturesque natural setting, yet it is so close to everything you could possibly want. The comfortable interior is quiet and clean, as well as being a book lovers paradise. We will definitely return again next summer!
Beautiful place - FYI you can hear the owners walking/talking upstairs in the evening
Beautiful yard and a very clean, comfy and well supplied lower level of a mossy stone home. The hostess is kind. She placed fresh flowers the table and fresh eggs in the refrigerator. The kids and dogs loved it!!
Beautiful hideaway! The hosts are very attentive. Checking to make sure we had everything we needed. We were there for my niece who was recovering from surgery and stayed for 3 weeks. The location is so peaceful and out of the rush of life in Portland area. Quiet, wooded, deer visited and easy with our Boston Terrier.
Very comfortable beds, cooked on a hot plate again, microwave, great toaster oven. We brought our own crockpot.
I would definitely go back. Thanks for a lovely stay.
The apartment was beautiful and well kept. The grounds are just lovely and so peaceful. The only negative thing I have to say is not about the property itself but the road leading up to the house. I’m guessing it’s a county road but it needs some serious maintenance. Otherwise my family absolutely loved staying here and the owners were so nice and gave us plenty of privacy. We didn’t even know they were there.
A fantastic spot for the reasons below.First, the property - it's the bottom apartment of the house, completely separate and very well set up. Two nice bedrooms on opposite sides, which gives privacy. The single bathroom is very nice, and a great shower. The induction cooktop and counterop oven were super useful. Everything you would need in terms of flatware was in abundance. The view to their backyard was a sight to behold. Nice little porch to hang out on as well.Next - the location. It's a bit on the south side of Beaverton, and at first it feels perhaps isolated because their property is so beautiful, but in truth it's quite close to everything. We went to a lot of places in the region, including Lake Oswego (maybe 20 min), Tualatin (same), central Beaverton (same), out to Cannon Beach (90 minutes, but another really pretty drive). So a nice feeling of peace and quiet, but not at all far from everything you might need.Lastly, the owners. They are extremely considerate of their guests. Anytime they needed to be somewhere that might impact us (which was very infrequent), they reached out to let us know in advance. Never really heard them while we were in the apartment. You will feel like you are in your own place.Unless you have unusual needs, this place is a fantastic stay.

Nice and cozy place to stay!
We went to Portland area for a 3 day weekend. The place was nice, clean with a big yard. When I reserve this place I thought it was a town house or something like it, but turns out the owner does live upstairs of the house, but you don't really see them because we are gone most of the time during the day and it has separate entrance. Instead of a kitchen, it's more like a bar area, they do have a little stove, but it is still hard to make breakfast for my 4 year old. The bath room is not bad, clean and tidy, it is a 3/4 bath tho. It doesn't bother me, we really only need showers anyway. We did overall enjoy our stay, nice place! Thank you Theresa for letting us stay!

Perfect! 10 Stars!
My husband, 3 kids, and I stayed in this awesome unit while our hardwood floors were being refinished. We choose this rental because it was very close to our house, but it turned out to be an amazing getaway! Everything in the house is updated, comfortable, and complete. It was the perfect place for us to stay. We played pool, ping pong, badminton on their beautiful lawn, even enjoyed a fire in the fire pit! The unit is beautiful and private. The unit is in a gorgeous country setting. The owners are incredibly responsive and helpful. The master bedroom has one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on! The kitchenette has everything you need to make meals (our family of 5 cooked breakfast and dinner here every night) If you are looking for a place to stay near the many wineries in the Willamette Valley, yet still be close to Portland, this would be an outstanding choice. I'd give it 10 stars if I could! And I have already recommended it to my local friends who may need to rent something like this for visiting family, friends, or even themselves!

Relaxing get-away
My husband and I spent 5 wonderful days at Sky-High Acres Retreat. Every detail in the description of the place is accurate. Located on the side of the main residence, the 2 bedroom apartment had all the comforts of being home. The beds were comfortable, linens plentiful and the gas fireplace was a nice amenity to have during the evening. Even though the kitchen area does not have a stove/oven, we managed to eat in every night and prepare meals on the portable 2 burner stove and the barbecue on the patio. The pantry is equipped with a microwave and a toaster/convection oven. Nearby is a New Seasons Market (similar to Whole Foods but not as expensive) and several restaurants. Theresa and Tim are lovely hosts; they even let us host a small dinner party for our daughter and a few of her friends (the pool table was a huge hit). If you are traveling to the Beaverton/Tigard area and do not want to stay in a hotel, Sky-High is your destination ( the Nike campus is close). Plus, the best part of the location is that Ponzi Vineyards is nearby...lovely grounds and tasty wine! If you prefer to stay in a country-like setting, private and away from suburbia, Sky-High is the spot. We will recommend this retreat to our friends and will be back.
The location is peaceful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city; but, very close (short drive) to everything Beaverton, Tigard and Sherwood have to offer. The owners are respectful of your privacy, great at communicating with you prior to your arrival, and quick to respond should you message/ask about anything during your stay.
This pet friendly property is lovely. Comfortable and clean furniture. Certainly out did our expectations. The property was wonderful with lots of areas to walk our dog. Hostess was very helpful and friendly. We had plenty of space and a washer and dryer too. We didn't try to cook in the kitchenette but did use the microwave. Overall experience was wonderful.
Beautiful place to stay, very clean and well maintained, great outdoor space as well. Pool table is a huge plus. Owner was super great and responsive. Would definitely stay there again if the need arose.
Enjoyed our stay in the amazing location! Felt like we were in the mountains at a cozy cottage, yet all the amenities of the city were just a few minutes drive. Kids really enjoyed all the open space and games!
The property was clean and tidy when we arrived. Our host, Theresa, communicated with use before and during our stay. I greatly appreciated the fresh flowers and special note that Theresa left for my family and I. We felt at home during our stay and enjoyed the garden and grass yard. We are grateful to have been able to cook and share a meal with our family daily. The decoration and bathroom tile is superb! I would definitely recommend staying here again. Thank you for the hospitality.
Loved the stay, the location was amazing, you feel far away from the city while you are only minutes away from all that you need. A great location for spending time with the family.
Great location, private and quiet. Clean and well equipped. Very lovely
