(Dogwood can also be rented as a 4 bedroom/4 bathroom cabin. This listing will have 2 bedrooms and bathrooms locked off and empty. By doing this, we're able to offer our large cabin to smaller groups with a lower cleaning fee.)

Take the kayaks to explore the lake and many coves or go fishing.

Play board games around the whiskey barrel game table or Corn hole out in the yard.

Both bedrooms have a king bed, twin bunks beds, a private bathroom, and a Roku TV to stream from your favorite channels. (You will have to log into your own accounts).

When you're ready to get out, there is so much for people of all ages and abilities to do around the resort, on the lake, and in Branson.

Take a short scenic drive into Branson for entertainment, restaurants, nightlife, water parks, aquarium, Silver Dollar City, zip lines, golfing, go-carts, putt-putt, and so much more!

After getting off the interstate, the road from Branson to Forsyth is a beautiful, scenic and winding road. Around the resort, the roads are all paved, but the parking is gravel.

A ramp leads up from the parking lot to the front door. However, it does not meet ADA standards.

This cabin is in the park-like setting of Edgewater Beach Resort on the shores of Lake Taneycomo. This is a small resort where everything is in WALKING DISTANCE, including the pool, playground, and docks.

The cabin is perched out on the furthest outcropping of the resort, giving you privacy on your deck with nothing but water and Ozark hills in sight.

You can also walk next door to Empire Park, which has a fantastic disc golf course, paved walking trails, and Powersite dam.

EDGEWATER BEACH RESORT is just 2 miles outside of Forsyth and one mile from the Powersite Dam.

PARKING: At Dogwood Cabin, there is enough parking for 2 cars. If you need more room, your boat trailer can be parked near the docks just a short walk from the cabin.

PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING

■ RENTAL AGREEMENT - You will be sent a Rental Agreement. Signing and returning the rental agreement is a requirement for staying at this property. If you do not sign the rental agreement within 24 hours of booking, your booking may be canceled.

■ LAKE INFO- Lake Taneycomo is the coldest lake in MO and is famous for fishing trout, bass, bluegill, and more. It is not an ideal swimming lake, but the cold waters can be enjoyed in the hottest months of the year. Lake weeds do grow up in the shallow waters in front of the cabin for about 6 months of the year, so if you want to get into the water, plan to paddle the kayaks out to one of the coves across the lake. In the warmer months, a micro plant called Water Meal also begins to float on the lake's surface and gather along the shore. While unsightly, this grain-like plant does not harm your health or inhibit fishing. You are welcome to fish on the resort's shore and off the dock. The best fishing tends to be out in the lake's deeper waters.

■ HOT TUB - Absolutely NO GLASS or food near the hot tub. NO BUBBLES, NO SALTS OR OILS can be added to the hot tub. You must shower first and wear a swimsuit (not clothes) in the hot tub. The hot tub is professionally serviced after each guest. Just let us know if it needs to be served during your stay.

■ PETS - Dog friendly! The number of dogs must be selected upon booking. We allow up to 2 house-trained dogs under 75 lbs. each. There is an additional fee of $150 fee per dog added to the total of your trip. Pets must be kenneled when left home alone. They must be on a leash at all times when outside of the cabin. Guests are responsible for cleaning up any waste from their pets. Guests must ensure that barking does not disturb our neighbors. Pets are never to be left alone outside. Please use the dog blankets provided if your pet will be on the couch or bed. We provide a basic kennel, a doggy bed, waste bags, and a lint roller. Excessive pet hair, damage, or smells will result in additional fees.

■ AGE - All guests must be 22+ with the exception of children with their parents.

■ OCCUPANCY - Maximum 6 Persons. If you bring more people than accounted for on your reservation, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

■ SECURITY CAMERA - Security cameras on the front porch are in place for your protection. You will be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund if you touch or tamper with the cameras. This is for your protection.

■ NO SMOKING - This is a NON-SMOKING/VAPING cabin.

■ UNCONTROLLABLE SITUATION - No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage if this is a concern.

■ CHECK-IN/OUT - Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM. We do not offer early check-ins or late check-outs.

■ CRITTERS - We have the cabin on a regular pest control schedule to help minimize the possibility of insects and critters. However, this is a lake area and some insects are unavoidable. You can occasionally expect to see critters (bugs, ants, spiders, bats etc.) in or around the cabin. If this is a concern for you, a place further from the water may be a better fit for you. Please help us by keeping the floors swept, sweets in the fridge, and trash cleaned up.
