Los Mangos 21 está ubicado en el mundialmente conocido complejo turístico de Casa de Campo, La Romana, República Dominicana. Los Mangos 21 tiene un diseño muy abierto y es muy fresco durante los veranos tostados de la República Dominicana. El barrio es bastante privado y es una comunidad cerrada. La villa también ofrece bastante privacidad.

Disfrute de unas fantásticas vacaciones en el Caribe en este complejo exclusivo y establecido que cuenta con varios campos de golf diseñados por Pete-Dye, playa de arena blanca, vela, esquí acuático, tiro al plato, tenis, polo y varios restaurantes premium dentro del complejo y en Altos de Chavón ( una réplica exacta de una ciudad italiana y un anfiteatro). El Anfiteatro de Altos de Chavón presenta regularmente espectáculos y actuaciones musicales de artistas internacionales y estadounidenses.

La villa tiene capacidad para 6 adultos y 2 niños cómodamente, un dormitorio principal con zona de estar y baño privado. Las otras dos suites tienen dos camas dobles en cada habitación y baño privado en suite. Hay un cargo por invitado por día para fiestas mayores de 8.

Not a great stay

Nice House. Not luxury property per se. We paid for airport pickup and ret and noone was waiting for us at airpt. Travelling with 1 12 yr old. Had to wait over 1 hr for Filgia to send someone, and then 7 of us would not fit. Had to pay 130$ for additional ride. Never got reimbursed for this! Also house was advertised in VRBO with Chef and Housekeeper. The chef never showed up. Housekeeper was very nice and able, but we paid for chef also and in our experience in other VRBO rentals there is a big difference. The pool! for 3 days we were not able to use it. Water was green and with algae. It took 2 days after pool person came to put chemicals to kill algae and bacteria. Whole weekend without a pool and we had 3 kids. Our son in law got an ear infection and on arrival back to Miami had to go to a doctor. Also A/C in master very noisy, sliding doors in living room had to be repaired, bathroom faucets outdated/rusted. Unfortunately not a great stay as we had assumed from previous stays in Casa de Campo

House was great! Location excellent. Staff was great. Resort was great. Just be aware it is hot in DR and typically houses only have a/c in bedrooms. This house is no exception. We will return but might pick a winter month. Loved the layout and feel of house though - all good!!!! We recommend it!

Back Again After a Couple of Years

My family and I enjoyed our second stay at the house. The grounds are very well kept, the house is clean, and the pool/yard is spacious and fun for kids to play. The location is great and close to beach.

Wonderful stay in the DR

We have always wanted to go to the Dominican Republic and we finally were able to get it accomplished. We researched many VRBOs and we happened upon Los Mangos. It is a beautiful property with a great backyard and in a wonderful residential area in the Casa de Campo complex which is a 7000 acre very safe and very secure world class resort. It literally has virtually everything you would want to do without leaving the resort. The golf courses are world class. The dining options are plentiful and are surprisingly world class as well and I am a foodie! The Villa itself is even better than the pictures. Frank and Filgia who own and manage the property are extremely responsive and very helpful. Everything they said they would do they did and did it well. Our housekeeper and chef was excellent and the one dinner she did for us as well as the breakfasts were outstanding. Our driver to and from the airport was on time and went out of his way to accommodate us. It was a wonderful week in a wonderful villa in an unbelievable resort. I highly recommend this villa and this resort!! (If you don't speak Spanish, bring our translator app!)

good place with some issues

This is a decent property with a great location, close to everything including the beach, marina and hotel. However, the house itself needs some upgrades to be considered a very nice property. We were surprised that the pool had an umbrella stand with no umbrella, the living room did not have a ceiling fan and there was no a/c (therefore it was hot and mosquitoes were present at dusk and night), the towels need to be upgraded, we needed to ask repeatedly for toilet paper, tissues and paper towels and ended up buying our own. Although the house was clean there were ants in the kitchen. All of the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms need to be upgraded. THIS IS NOT A LUXURY HOME. The housekeeper and her helper are very nice and made us many breakfasts and a few lunches. We rented golf carts which were there when we arrived but one didn't have much gas and getting gas is a project. Be aware of the resort fees we got charged per person, per day even though the property manager said we would not have to pay them, this turned into a real hassle with both the manager and the hotel itself. Overall I would give this property a C+.

Our stay at Los Mangos 21

We were very pleased with the property, its in excellent condition, in spite of a few minor set backs ( no a/c in common areas, no microwave oven, and living room fan was not working). Service by Daisy and Maribel was efficient and always accommodating. The house is located in a wonderful area of Casa de Campo, Most of all, Fligia gave her 100% to provide us with everything we needed. We look forward to more wonderful stays at Mangos 21

Casa de Campo Paradise

My son and I stayed at the villa for (4) nights before his quarantine started for return to college. I contacted the owner (Frank) before renting and the communication was great. We talked and texted a few times before we booked to be sure I had the dates right. The villa is better than the pictures and Frank had everything we discussed prior to arrival just right - including the great service with transportation to from and to the airport. The ease of communication was in place for the entire trip without fault. On short notice I had a friend in the area that wanted to visit - I texted Frank and in less that 30 minutes he had contacted CDC and texted me back the access code for my friend. That's faster than the hotel would have managed. The villa is super clean and comfortable. Daisy made us a great breakfast each morning and one dinner that was the perfect DR meal. It was a five star stay on all levels - would come back again for sure.

Thanksgiving 2020

My family and I spent Thanksgiving at the villa and had a very good experience. Daisy is super attentive and always aware of us. Our only drawback was the wifi that was super slow and it was difficult for us to connect to work. But overall it was an amazing time

Family of 4

We had stayed at Casa at a different house with a larger group in the past which had been great, this time we were looking for a smaller place to suit a family of four. Los Mangos was ideal. Three good sized bedrooms, beautiful back yard with nice pool and lots of room to play. The loving space was nicely kept and attractive outside seating areas. The house keeper was friendly but not over the top in terms of service, which was fine with us. We cooked all our own meals. Frank was very responsive and the driver Marcial was good . The location of the house is excellent, close to everything. We hope to be back in teh future.

Great week during a tough time

Despite the COVID-19 global pandemic - which cut our week short - we had a remarkable stay. Communication with Frank was perfect, Marcial was right there at the airport to get us, we wanted to bring Daisy, home with us! The house was perfect for our family, incredibly peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend this property, we would stay here again, and hopefully get our full week in!

Wonderful stay at Los Mangos 21.

We just returned from a fabulous stay at Casa de Campo and Los Mangos 21 was perfect. When you walk in to the beautiful living room overlooking the pool it’s so impressive. The photos were accurate to what you get here. The bedrooms were all clean and spacious and the bathrooms were great. Daysi was very sweet and helpful. The living area is just gorgeous and we enjoyed lounging there and by the pool every morning and afternoon before and after our daily activities. Frank was so helpful and easily accessible for all questions. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful stay!!!

Great Family Vacation

Spent NYE week here with another family. We had 4 small kids who loved the pool and open space to roam. This house is very close to the beach club which was by far our favorite place to hang out during the day. You will definitely want to rent golf carts so you can zip all over CDC and use all the amenities. Frank the owner is very communicative and available to help answer your questions and get your trip setup.

Great house and location

Frank the owner was very reliable. The housekeeper Daisy very good and kept things very clean. Good grill to cook on. The poolsnd back yard wonderful. I suggested a few upgrades and the owner will do these. Definitely pour this on your list to rent.

Great vacation

The home is very beautiful and well designed. The backyard and pool area were larger than we anticipated! Daisy is very sweet and the food she prepared was great. The atmosphere at the house is very relaxing. The Los Mangos neighborhood is centrally located in Casa de Campo and just a two minute golf cart ride from the beach.

Great trip at Los Mangos 21

Traveled with my family (four of us). The photos provided an accurate depiction of the house - very nice and spacious. Having a housekeeper during the day was wonderful - we were able to have b'fast and some lunches there. The owner did a great job organizing with us beforehand so that we had groceries at the home prior to our arrival and even had a traditional Thanksgiving meal (with no cooking on our part). Thank you, Frank and Figlia!
