Lake Levels & Wildlife
Nolin Lake is a seasonal reservoir, and water levels change throughout the year:
Summer (May–Oct): Full pool for swimming, boating, fishing
Winter (Nov–April): Low levels, often exposing the lakebed—a neat way to explore, but not ideal for water activities
You’re in the Kentucky countryside, so it’s not uncommon to see deer, bunnies, birds, or the occasional insect or critter. We use regular pest control to help minimize surprises.
A Few Country Comfort Notes
Life is slower out here—embrace it!
- Restaurants can have limited hours - Cell signal may vary depending on your carrier
We encourage guests to disconnect and enjoy the stillness—play games, take a hike, relax in the hot tub, or make s’mores under the stars.
