Only thing the toilet and the bathroom light didn't work very well. But other than that we loved it! My 1 yr old took her 1st steps the night we arrived amd my 4 yr old and 13 yr old loved the pool!!!!! Definitely go to place when traveling to Galveston

This is a nice one bedroom and hall twin bunk bed place with a view of the ocean and a little porch. Large TV in the living room and a table with 4 seats. Great for watching the World Cup semi-finals.

It was a good experience, wish we had more time asked for extra time and for 2 hrs it was going to be 75, but then cancelled time request. Also on top of that 40 additional for parking.

Great place for location and price

The location was amazing as it was just as short walk to the seawall and beach. The price was very reasonable also. I appreciated the gated community aspect thus it felt very safe.

We had an amazing time! The ocean view was absolutely stunning, and the location couldn’t have been better—close to everything we needed. It was the perfect spot for our family of four. Highly recommend!

The room was dirty and floor was sticky. Bathroom ceiling leaked and dirty bathtub and shower curtain. Wall paper was coming off the wall and vents were rusty, exhaust fan didn’t work as intended. When we checked in, we were informed that the elevators were not working, which is a huge issue for my husband. Front desk personnel was not very helpful and the security guard wasn't either.

Great Location!

This spot had a great location near pleasure pier, schlitterbahn, etc. The condo complex and pool were nice. The condo itself was great for what we needed but the patio door was very hard to open and the unit was a bit outdated but not a reason to not book.

Stay Porter, the actual property manager of this particular unit is a joke. I've used VRBO for years, this is the first time that I've booked a unit ran by Stay Porter. This outfit that demands to see your card...albeit, they advise you to cover all but last 4 digits. I get to the property, the lock box is old and rusty, as is everything by a beach. Struggled to get it to unlock, to point that I thought they had give the wrong code. Called the help line, no answer, expected as it was a Sunday, but message said I would get a return call within the hour. It's three weeks later and I'm still waiting for a call. The actual property could do nothing, because they have the same phone number I have. Same for VRBO support. The only way I actually got in, was I was so pissed that I bang the lock box a few times against the gate it was attached to. I'm in my 40's, but had that been someone older, without much strength, they would still be waiting a call from Stay Porter. The unit itself was fine. The property, I've stayed at several times, was same as always. Will I go back to that property...yes. Will I make damn sure that Stay Porter isn't the unit manager when I book? You can take all your money to Vegas right now and make that bet.

The view from the room is awesome the only problem is it takes 2 men and a boy to get the screen door open and every time you flush the toilet it runs for 2 hours the place has not been updated since it was built back in the 80s and not touch the shower curtain because it’s ready to fall and hit you in the head and the wall paper in the bathroom is falling off the wall it’s completely a rent it out and get that money but don’t fix a dam thing in it unless you have to

Great location, condo inter. On small side. Balcony door off slidets so could not open. Sofa bed unsleepable due to 25 degree slant. Near many good places to To eat and play. Will consider staying again.

We stayed at the property for 3 nights. Upon getting into the condo, there was mold on the front door.....not recent but years worth. The ceiling panel in the bathroom was falling down, along with more mold. The door to the bedroom had some nasty brown stuff running down it not to mention of course MORE MOLD.... All in the room, hallway, vents, everywhere. The bedroom has 2 TVs....one works one doesn't but it is already tiny so why not take it out? Not to mention the electrical panel does not shut and had previously been taped shut but that was not even holding anymore, dangerous with kids. Nobody attempted to clean any of those issues before check in, that was obvious. But the one thing that has me beyond angry, is my 2 girls wanted to sleep on the pull-out sofa instead of the bunk beds so they could watch some TV......There was a FLAT sheet and twin comforter under the TV but no fitted sheet. I pull out the sleeper sofa and find there is a cover/sheet on it, I think GREAT. NOT.......There was not only tons and tons of crumbs, there was trash from snacks and eye contacts, but the best thing is the brown stuff all over the one side of it. At this point I do not know if it was human feces or chocolate, I do not care. As a paying guest that never ever should have happened. That room including ALL linens should have been checked PRIOR to our check in. If we did not have kids with us that we would've left the first day. I also have pics/videos of all this!!!!

Unfortunately, my stay at this location was not good at all! I have stayed at the Victorian before and enjoyed every minute but not this time. From the time I walked in there was issues. The toilet was running and stained needs to be replaced. Sink faucet is old and corroded and the shower head is old.The shower is stained and outdated. The ceiling looks molded in the bathroom and the shower curtain was definitely molded and needed replacing! There furniture is old and stained needs to be replaced. Even the sheets were stained and the pillow shams were torn! This condo needs a good cleaning and needs to be upgraded! Vrbo made sure I was relocated very promptly and made sure my stay was an enjoyable trip!!!!

We reserved this condo prior to Hurricane Beryl. I accidentally missed adding the travel insurance but intended to do so. The host did not answer my question when I asked if a refund was possible, but instead offered me a 20% discount to come even if the power was not restored at the time of our stay. This is during a declaration of a federal disaster. This property is extremely outdated and needs repairs. The bathtub faucet shoots water out the front because it is cracked, there is mold on the front door as well as multiple vents inside the property, and the shower wall has mold or a soft spot, I didn’t touch it so I am not sure what. I would include photos of these things but am unsure how to do so. The patio door also barely opens so you cannot properly enjoy the balcony. The bedroom has a full size bed and is so small you can barely walk all the way around it. If you are not a small person this property is not a good fit for you. Overall, not impressed.

Nice stay for the price

The location of the property was optimal, with easy access to the beach, nice views, and only a short distance from restaurants. The check in instructions could have more clear. It was not indicated that a visit into the lobby was necessary. The property is visibly a little older/outdated,which did not translate in the listing; however, outside of a few hairs in the shower, the unit was clean. The sliding door to the balcony was broken and very difficult to open and close and there was a broken chair on the balcony, but we visited only a couple weeks after Hurricane Beryl, so we chalked it up to that. Communication for this booking was lacking, but again, I believe this could be due the aftermath of the hurricane. I received a notification that my stay could not be accomodated due to hurricane; however, I didn't receive that notification until I was on my way to the condo. I left messages on the VRBO site, and called and left a couple voicemails before I received an email to indicate the phone line was having an issue and provided an alternate phone number to call. Upon calling that number, I was told that my unit was indeed available for my stay... So at the end of the day it worked out. Overall, our stay was nice. The unit could use some repairs/ updates, but we were really only there to sleep so it served it's purpose for the price.
