This Condo has a wonderful ocean view from the balcony, the beach is located directly in front of the resort with only a short walk to the beach. Located in the Casa Del Mar resort that offers two tropical pools, a barbecue area and laundry facilities on site. Very close to Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn. Comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 2 child with 2 queen beds and a 2 junior bunk bed.
The space
Our condo comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 1 child. With queen size bed in bedroom, queen size Sofa bed in living area and one small junior bunk in hall for kid under 12. It is centrally located right on the seawall close to all the attractions in Galveston. It is only a short drive to Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Pleasure Pier and The Strand historic district. It is only a short walk to the beach and many great restaurants and shops. Our condo has a private balcony with a beautiful ocean view to enjoy. This condo has been completely remodeled and is extremely clean and well cared for. It is the perfect spot for an island getaway.

Entire condo unit, 2 pools, BBQ area, Laundry rooms, Lobby area, vending machine & Two Parking passes included with the ($25 registration Fee) Payable in the lobby to Casa Del Mar, This Fee is for all Casa Del Mar Guests per Stay.

Very clean room and nice view from the balcony but wish there were two high top beach chairs instead of just one. The kitchen had all of the essentials just wish there were a couple more coffee pods instead of just two before we could get to the store to buy more. It was nice to have the shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the shower but shower door likes to slide open. Bathroom spray would be nice to freshen up for next person to use the bathroom. Bedroom was cozy but light on the headboard didn’t work so used light from tv to get into bed because it gets dark in there. Bed was too soft for us because we sleep on a firm mattress so that would be our main issue but overall we enjoyed our weekend away here at Casa Del Mar!

Perfect spot for our honeymoon! We were super close to the beach, and the ease of getting into and out of the room at all hours was lovely.

Had a beach view. Pool was nice. Room was decent. Not dirty but the bedroom ceiling had a stain and the room smelled like mildew. It was quiet. Bed was a little hard. Sheets had bleach stains. Tub had rust on one end. Furniture was old/very used and chair fabric was faded. It wasn’t the worst place but wasn’t the best place. It’s fine to sleep but I wouldn’t want to hang out in the room a lot.

There was a bit of confusion about having a keypad but that worked out ok. It needs to have some kind of air flowing through on a regular basis b)c when we walked in it was super warm and pretty much always smelled musty. The shower was EXTREMELY slippery and I am surprised no one fell. Above all it was a decent place to stay and it worked out fine for us.

Girls weekend. The condo was perfect for what we needed. Convenient to everything (Walmart and Starbucks just around the corner) The check in process was easy and the condo was close to the elevator.

Excellent accommodations. The reviews are accurate. Family friendly and close to the beach. Easy to check in and out. Kitchen was great. Plenty of towels and extras that we didn’t expect. We will definitely stay there again.

The location was great. Everything was within walking distance. The property was safe and we didn’t have any problems. The room was smaller than expected and smelled of cigarette smoke along with the hall way. Water leaked into the bathtub from the ceiling. But overall a great place to stay.

Great place

We rented this condo to stay for our wedding weekend. It was a great location off 61st and seawall, affordable, and easy to get in and out. it’s nearby pretty much everything! The space was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. It has a nice view of the water! The Condo is near the elevators so that was convenient for us as well. It was a perfect space for me, my husband, and our 10 month old. There’s enough space in the bedroom to fit a pack & play travel crib. The host was awesome and very responsive if we needed anything. Would highly recommend renting this place!
