Oak Street Station in Downtown Mahomet

We have two sets of linens. We had guests that stayed before you using one set of said linens. We washed what was used during your stay, the day before your arrival. I have it listed in the description on what type of space it is. I would say though, your statement about the space isn’t accurate. You make it sound like it’s a room in a house shared with others. That’s not the case. It’s a single family home that has two units, making it a duplex. The other side has permanent folks, it is not a vacation rental like this side. I will most definitely address the folks about the dog, as this was a first hearing about it. You could’ve easily messaged me your first night about the dog and I have no problem addressing it. We didn’t even know Elizabeth stayed as she requested early check in, which was granted, but she never communicated after the fact.

Hi Steven! We have this listed as a townhouse & the entrance for the other unit is in the very back of the building where the Airbnb is in the front. Previous reviews also mention this is a shared space. I’m sorry Vrbo does not mention it’s a townhouse as that’s what we have listed. It’s a 1 bedroom and as you can see from the exterior pictures of the home, it’s much larger than a 1 bedroom home would be. You did have some speed bumps during your stay in which I had to speak with our cleaners to ensure that wouldn’t happen in the future. Unfortunately, humans do make mistakes but that’s where we learn and grow. We aren’t a hotel and we aren’t a super modern, high priced Airbnb either. We are $75/night for the convenience of being in Mahomet where stay options are limited. We strive to make every stay great and we are disappointed we fell short of making that happen for you. We wish you the best when you are in Mahomet finding a better rental that fits your needs!
