About Dennis Bodenchuk

I am a geologist and have a great fondness for the outdoors and the mountains. I am an avid skiier and hiker and have climbed many of Colorado's 14'ers (mountains above 14,000 feet). I also occassionally play tennis and golf and love to relax in a hot tub. I have a demanding job and love to 'get away' when I have time off.

Why Dennis Bodenchuk chose Frisco

I wanted a place that was easy to get to, within an hour of Denver, but with a spectacular setting that I would never tire of. I wanted to be very close to many different ski areas and year round activities. If my children moved from Colorado, I wanted a place that was easy to get to from Denver International Airport (DIA) so that we could always get together for holidays, special occasions, etc. This location is very quiet and serene, yet it is within minutes of any and all types of activities that people think of when they go on a vacation. I wanted to have a place that I would want to go to on a vacation. But, I wanted it to be close enough to Denver that I would use it and close enough to DIA that it would be easy to get to for my guests from all over the world.

What makes this condo unique

The condo was extensively updated during the the summer of 2017. Entire condo was painted. Flat screen TV's in all bedrooms and a 56" flat screen in living room. New linens, bed covers, pillows, etc. New oven with ceramic range top. New blender, toaster, slow cooker, utensils, plates and glassware. New wall art.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Hi Dennis. Thanks for an enjoyable stay. We found the layout spacious and clean and the proximity of the hot tub to be an added bonus. The neighbor lady, Mrs. Jeter, was welcoming and made us a kalua cake......

as thanks for the bottle of kalua we provided her. Appreciate you returning the ski equipment to our friend. Take care,

Jim

Annual senior guys trip to Colorado

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed our stay at the condo. Quiet accommodations for our visit. Close to Frisco and Dillon. Hot tub located at the base of the unit. Met cordial neighbors who baked us a kalua cake. Nice touch!

Relaxing stay with a beautiful view

  • 4 of 5

The place was beautiful and had everything we needed. There were a few small issues: the pilot light to the water heater blew out the first night we were there, so we had cold water for that first morning and the lock box for the key was broken, so we were waiting outside for about 20 minutes while the property manager worked on a solution. The problems were resolved pretty quickly, and the owners/managers were really kind about getting them fixed. Our family really enjoyed the stay!

Some issues, but he took care of them

  • 5 of 5

The view and location were great. We had some issues with the place, but Dennis was responsive to our concerns and made everything right in the end. He followed up afterwards to make sure he knew of every concern in order to get them all addressed going forward. The rating reflects that while we had some issues, the owner made it right and can be trusted.

All that's needed for a ski vacation

  • 4 of 5

Location was great and had everything we needed. There was an incident with a neighbor in regards to us having dogs on the property but we got in touch with the property manager right away who told us to disregard the note.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake Forest Property in Frisco, Co. We agree the views from the property are beautiful; and one gets the sense of being far from it all while being close to the freeway and shopping. The location is additionally central to all the local ski resorts as described. While the property is a bit older, the décor is tastefully done and the beds comfortable. It is important to note that the property is located on the third floor, so climbing stairs should be considered when including guests. My 89 year old mother got lots of exercise! Thank you for a great time!

Lived up to Expectations! Great place for Ski Vacation. I will return!

  • 5 of 5

First of all, when you walk into the spacious condo, the views from the balcony windows are even prettier than what is written. My daughter and her 2 friends and I went up for a long weekend. The condo is in an ideal location for a relaxed day of skiing- 10 minutes door to door to Copper Mountain, and about 20 minutes to Breck or Keystone. And for my daughter, she loved the Tubing Hill about a mile away in downtown Frisco. I found the condo to be clean, well furnished and in great condition. Definitely a place that I would rent again and would highly recommend to my friends.
