About Dennis Bodenchuk

I am a geologist and have a great fondness for the outdoors and the mountains. I am an avid skiier and hiker and have climbed many of Colorado's 14'ers (mountains above 14,000 feet). I also occassionally play tennis and golf and love to relax in a hot tub. I have a demanding job and love to 'get away' when I have time off.

Why Dennis Bodenchuk chose Frisco

I wanted a place that was easy to get to, within an hour of Denver, but with a spectacular setting that I would never tire of. I wanted to be very close to many different ski areas and year round activities. If my children moved from Colorado, I wanted a place that was easy to get to from Denver International Airport (DIA) so that we could always get together for holidays, special occasions, etc. This location is very quiet and serene, yet it is within minutes of any and all types of activities that people think of when they go on a vacation. I wanted to have a place that I would want to go to on a vacation. But, I wanted it to be close enough to Denver that I would use it and close enough to DIA that it would be easy to get to for my guests from all over the world.

What makes this condo unique

The condo was extensively updated during the the summer of 2017. Entire condo was painted. Flat screen TV's in all bedrooms and a 56" flat screen in living room. New linens, bed covers, pillows, etc. New oven with ceramic range top. New blender, toaster, slow cooker, utensils, plates and glassware. New wall art.

Some issues, but he took care of them

  • 5 of 5

The view and location were great. We had some issues with the place, but Dennis was responsive to our concerns and made everything right in the end. He followed up afterwards to make sure he knew of every concern in order to get them all addressed going forward. The rating reflects that while we had some issues, the owner made it right and can be trusted.

All that's needed for a ski vacation

  • 4 of 5

Location was great and had everything we needed. There was an incident with a neighbor in regards to us having dogs on the property but we got in touch with the property manager right away who told us to disregard the note.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake Forest Property in Frisco, Co. We agree the views from the property are beautiful; and one gets the sense of being far from it all while being close to the freeway and shopping. The location is additionally central to all the local ski resorts as described. While the property is a bit older, the décor is tastefully done and the beds comfortable. It is important to note that the property is located on the third floor, so climbing stairs should be considered when including guests. My 89 year old mother got lots of exercise! Thank you for a great time!

Lived up to Expectations! Great place for Ski Vacation. I will return!

  • 5 of 5

First of all, when you walk into the spacious condo, the views from the balcony windows are even prettier than what is written. My daughter and her 2 friends and I went up for a long weekend. The condo is in an ideal location for a relaxed day of skiing- 10 minutes door to door to Copper Mountain, and about 20 minutes to Breck or Keystone. And for my daughter, she loved the Tubing Hill about a mile away in downtown Frisco. I found the condo to be clean, well furnished and in great condition. Definitely a place that I would rent again and would highly recommend to my friends.

Needs work

  • 3 of 5

This condo needs lot of maintenance. I enjoy this complex but would not stay in this condo again. It took multiple phone calls and emails to get my deposit back as well.

Owner's Response: I have rented my condo to hundreds of satisfied renters since 2006. Many of those renters have come back to my place year after year. The condo is clean, convenient and as almost everyone comments, it has a spectacular view. For the past two years I have used PayPal for accepting rental payments and returning rental deposits. I have been extremely fortunate with renters taking very good care of my home. I do not quibble about the every little thing as to the condition of the condo. For one thing I do understand the idea of reasonable wear and tear, and I also have been fortunate to attract responsible, high quality renters. In fact, in the ten years that I have been renting this condo, I have never had to keep any portion of a renter's damage deposit. I have also always returned deposits within the stated time frames of the contract. The only portion of the year that would stretch beyond about two weeks is during the summer time. I always wait for a report from the cleaning service and since the condo is not rented every week during the summer, sometimes I do not get my report as quickly as I do during the ski season when the condo is rented almost every week. I will make every effort to have the cleaning service contact me as soon as possible during the non ski portion of the year.

What a view!

  • 5 of 5

We came up for the weekend with 2 other couples to go sailing and take in a National Repertory Orchestra concert. Although it rained too much to go sailing we enjoyed hanging out in the condo enjoying the spectacular views from the balcony. We wandered downtown, found delightful places to eat and just relaxed. The concert was amazing! The condo was comfortable and homey with plenty of room for 6 people. We would love to stay here again!
