Good central location and quick response to issie

The location was perfect for our family to stay for a couple nights while attending a wedding in Cape Girardeau. Home was clean, comfortable and well furnished, and manager was quick to respond to an electrical problem we encountered by inadvertently overloading a circuit just a few hours after our arrival.

Very clean and comfortable. I would have like either a bench or chair for my luggage, and I would have liked the door going to the backyard useable. Other from that we very much loved the house.

SEMO homecoming stay

This is the first year we’ve stayed at anyplace other than a hotel for homecoming weekend. This place was terrific. Cute and clean with everything you need - even a box fan for my husband who travels with ours so he can sleep! The location is very convenient. We will absolutely stay here again!

Don't Stay Here!

As soon as we arrived we first noticed a horrific cigarette smell and noticed an obvious burn hole in the sofa. The living room carpet was stained, baseboards dirty, and obvious filth down the air duct. Paint chips in floor of bedroom 2, also shade at back patio door was broke and hanging.Hostess was notified immediately of the cigarette smell, the burn hole in the sofa, and the sagging shade, as I did not want to be blamed for this, she stated she knew and "parts were being ordered."It rained almost everyday we were there, and this created a sewer smell in upstairs bathroom, a mold & mildew smell coming up from basement, and water started leaking up through the floor in laundry room. Hostess was also notified of that; she asked me to take pictures, and I had to clean it up.Hiscence air conditioner in upstairs bedroom is loud, and there is a big ugly hose running out the window. Downstairs shower goes cold in less than 10 minutes, when I notified the hostess of this she tried to say there were six people staying there, (there was not, there were only four), and that "maybe it was because we all tried to take showers at the same time." I did ask for a refund from the hostess and I was denied. But the hostess did say that she was going to remove the property from the market listing until all of these issues were fixed, & to me that warranted some sort of a refund. If anyone who has any type pulmonary issues stays in this house they could get very sick.
